The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"I'm sure he would." Shadow replied. "Does that mean I should be going now?" She asked.

"Well, I'm sure you have other things to take care of and I'm guessing you've done everything you needed to here. I don't see any reason to keep you" Damien said. "Thank you for your work. Don't think I don't appreciate it. Also, thank you for the pizza" the Absolute Leader then added.

"You're welcome." She replied before turning to leave the room, leaving the rest of the pizza with him. She saluted to the guards as she left before heading down the stairs.

Damien finished all the pizza he wanted and there was still a little bit left. He packed up the box and gave his mouth a final wipe. The Absolute Leader slid his hands back into his white gloves and decided to pay a little visit to the Chief General. He picked up the pizza box and left his office to go to Jian's.

Jian was sitting at his desk, sorting through papers. He was starting to get a little hungry and was thinking about going to go to the mess hall to get food.

Damien knocked on Jian's door. "I come bearing gifts" he announced, pizza box in hand.

"Come in! What sort of gifts?" Jian asked.

Damien walked into Jian's office carrying the pizza box. "Food and good news" Damien said, then set the pizza box on the corner of Jian's desk.

((Sorry, having a little trouble coming up with something new.))

"Really?" Jian asked, kicking back as he looked at Damien. "What sort of good news?"

Damien made sure the door was closed before he spoke. "Well, we found out who caused the accident that injured many people, including the twins, and killed a few others. We had a little help from a certain someone" he said, reluctantly admitting the last part. He then gestured to the pizza box. "She even brought lunch. I've had my fill, so you can have the rest of it if you want."

"Oh really? Thanks." Jian smiled. "You know, I never thought I'd see the day where you'd be ... mildly irritated that a young woman brought you free lunch and important information." He jested.

"If it was anyone besides Shadow, I'd probably be less annoyed. It just bugs me that she manages to keep weaseling herself in and out of my business. And yet, I have to admire her" Damien replied, taking a seat and resting his cheek in a white gloved hand while gesturing with his other one.

"She does have a way of getting things done fast." Jian nodded, looking at his friend. "For a necessary evil, it doesn't seem so terribly bad, especially considering not to long ago she wanted you dead for sticking her in that vat."

"Yeah, and we would probably have completed more if that idiot doctor didn't wind up smashing up all the equipment and a lot of precious solutions after being revealed that he was a lecher" Damien sighed. "Still, at the moment she seems more useful being out and about. If we can capture her again eventually, that would be fantastic, but for now she's more of a use to me this way" Damien replied, sitting up and resting his arms on his lap. "Though I didn't appreciate her snooping through private forensic files, even if she sped up the process by not having to go through standard protocol."
