Dwight moaned in pain, dragging his blistered body across the ground, seeing the dragon swooping down to attack Rose. He had no voice left in him, nor the enegy to yell at her to block it. He merely saw a dragon only he could see going straight for her. No one else could see it as it was invisible, and were it not for the eye in his iron half, even he would not be able to see it. He dragged his body across the floor, using his sword to gain perchase in the ground, trying to save her, even if it meant his death in doing so.

Zarianort thought back. No one wants you dead, or crazy. We both know it is a craziness that would last for eternity, and you would have to be put to death before you kill anyone you care about. Don't do it Rose please, it would kill anyone here to have you do it. Escpecially one person in particular, comming up behind you. He blasted a couple ooze drakes with his instant death gas, and rounded on a red drake.

The Sunwyrm finally shut the portal pernanently, locking all other dragon's out. He sighed in releif that no shadow drakes had come through, as that would probably have meant death for all of them. He snapped the head off of a sheild drake, and burned through a gold dragon. This was their last burst of defenses, then they could find the trur castle.

_Heh, well looks like it's over...

_Please Rose, tell the kid that if he dream about beign a distraction again I'm going to rip his eyes out. And... *Dave sniffs something he never did before, then started looking around for it*
_Are you sure those are all the dragons? What is this smell?

*Specter looks at the battlefield, and notices something missing...*
_Hey, where is Dwight?

*rose grabs specter, then ports to dwight and ports again, away from the invisible dragon snd starts to heal dwight with a potion as finishes up specter* this is more then a handful...

Dwight snarled, his blisters covering over in healing skin. He rose to his feet gingerly. He gave Rose a quick kiss on the cheek. "Thank you." Then he turned, snarling on the invisible thing. He leaped on it, and plunged his iron fist into it's eye, tearing it out, and leaving a bit of optic nerve dangling from it. As the dragon flailed, comming into view, as Dwight drove his b*****d sword into the final dragon's eye socket, driving it into the thing's brain. He leaped from the dragon, just before it hit the ground with a resounding thud. "Now, to find the true castle."

*rose blushed and then got up and wobbled after dwight*
wait, we need to make sure everyones ok.

Dwight screeched to a halt. "Rose, why are you hobbling?" He asked, as Sandra scooted about checking on everyone.

Zarianort arose from the dead dragons and snarled. "I'm fine."

The sunwyrm's wounds were already closing, as though some great hand were smoothing her out, and she was clay. "Can we get moving yet?"

_So... wich way are we going? Through the air or the maze?
_Well, probably through the air. The maze is going to be long and tiressome, and they are going to get well-prepared by the time we get there. Of course, we have no idea of the shields they have there, so maybe it would be worse... Luckly, their only way of attacking us now that we got rid of the outside army is opening a passage through the shield for their army to get out to attack us...

*rose blushed a little* im just tired!!!!
can we take to the air? some cant fly and then they become useless weight for the flyers.

Dwight smirked, and threw Rose over his shoulder, carrying her fireman-style. "Until you tell me what's wrong, this is how it shall be." He said. he then turned to the rest of the group. "Oh, we'll fly. But not through the air. THey'll be expecting that. It is lucky that we have the two most powerful dragonoid forms the world has ever known on our side. We will fly over the maze, and find the portal that way. They'll have limitless defences up and running to see us get through the air. After all, that ids what I told Yuri we would do. The maze will be practically unguarded. Zarianort, Zerantuul, if you would." The linnorn and the sunwyrm started shrinking at the same rate, until they were no taller than Dwight, who smiled at them. "Thank you. This is the best way to do it. They are small, compact, but will none of the loss of strength, or power. They can carry those who cannot fly, and we will skim above the maze, the eyes of Zerantuul looking for the portal. She is a master at finding such things. Her greatest power to us." He turned, and walked towards the castle, Rose on his shoulder, the linnorn and sunwyrm following behind him, knowing the others would follow pace as well.

*sandra picked up miki and caught up to dwight* good plan
*rose let out a tiny squeak* im ok!

"Mmmhmmm." He said, continuing to carry her."Let me know what's wrong, and I'll let you down again. Until then...Well, you're just gonna have to be carried."

_Good think I'm already a dragon then, but I think our little furry friend would go better with whoever carries Rose, since she is the only one besies Miki who can listen to him and Miki is a cat...
*Grabs Daveputting his hand under his belly an raises him*
_Hey, I may be small and weak but at least I can be a istraction without becoming barbecue!


Yuri saw from the castle the battlefield, and the victory of the rebels. He closed hands so hard he opened his wound an started bleeding again. He knew that with the linnorn and now the sunwyrm they would probably reach the castle in minutes...
He closed his eyes and began to rethink his plan. If it failed but he survived, and they defeated those fools he served, he woul still be safe, and would get an even better magic tutor, one who could release his demonic and draconic powers, the ones his former one in hell failed to realise were obstructing each other and his actual one doesn't know how to unlock even one... But in the other hand, even with all the power he would have he knew that he woul still be no match for his tutor's one...
However, if he was able to destroy the rebelion, he would learn magic not so powerful but still powerful, and would be able to find a way to unlock his powers by himself. And, if his tutor and his master ever got in his way, he knew that thy would be weaker than him when he got his knowledge and his full powers, maybe sooner, maybe they alreay were... Anyway, they woul be no problem to overcome...
So he neee to choose... Would he want to be powerful fast, but with a shadow always there to stop him, or slowly, but with free will to do wathever he wanted? It all depened of his battle with the rebelion... A battle that, he knew, he was going to loose, since the rebels had the aid of the linnorn and the sunwyrm...
Then it hit him... he doesn't need to defeat them, only to make sure they didn't interruped his battle wih the rebels. He was sure he was able to defeat them... No, no them... Him, their leader... Without him, his tactics, his knowledge, his spirit seeking vengeance they would fall like the castle he was inside if the magic hat keeps it afloat was removed... And even with the linnorn and the sunwyrm present, attacking all of them but actually actually aiming just for him, it woul be a much simpler task... Even the two he feare woul be no actual problem, just a nuisance...
And he then start laughing, for he knew that what was Dwight's greatest strengh, his metal side, could also become his greatest weakness.
And so he went to the library, search for a magic to keep his big worries outside the room, for he learned more of magic than let Daraman find out, and he guessed it was enough. He woul not ask Daraman's help, if he found out about them he would probably try something that could ruin his plan. And even if it wasn't enough, he knew he would still be able to o his plan, only beign a little harder!
He chose Daraman and Gaarland.

Dwight placed Rose on the ground, his head flicking upwards to where the flying castle was barely visible, his mechanical eye zooming in to see Yuri there. His eyes raised upwards as he felt an unexplained branch of fury over-swept him. He whipped out his iron arm, dug into the brick of the castle, and tore out a corner of the cement. He whipped it upwards, aiming at the castle, and at Yuri, aiming to hit him right in the forehead. He had a bad feeling about trusting that thing, and nothing was going to change it.

*rose looked at dwight* whats the matter?

_No, the problem isn't understanding Miki... It is the fact that Miki is a cat and Dave is a dog... You know, that thing about the species not liking each other very much...

Yuri noticed Dwight was looking at him and saw the cement block coming for him, but he knew that even Dwight would not be able to throw it to where he was. So he justsidestepped so Dwight could still see him and waved his hand with a smile, as if saying that he could not wait for when they met again (actually, that's exactly what he meant to say). Then he just moved away from the window and went to the library read Daraman's books, something told him there would not be much time...
