Welcome new students to the Shinobi Academy! This is where all ninja get their start. In order to graduate from here you must learn at least one technique. But remember, if you don't learn the technique here before graduating, you will not be able to return here again to learn it. If you're from a village within Hidden Fantasy, then you do not have to start here right away but when you travel from Hidden Fantasy you must start here and graduate to venture to the Shinobi villages

Basic Techniques

Henge no Jutsu - 300 Skill Points
This technique allows the ninja to transform their appearance to that of anyone they have a strong enough understanding for the appearance for. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. In order to maintain this technique, a ninja needs to hold a level of focus in order to allow for the structure and how it interacts with the environment to function. If the ninja is injured or loses focus then this technique is deactivated. This is not a physical change, it's only an illusion, so bare that in mind.

This technique cannot be used to alter the appearance of basic clones like Bushin no Jutsu, Water Clone, or Shadow clone but can for clones or aids that have their own chakra supply as the individual must use the technique. [N]

Bushin no Jutsu - 300 Skill Points
This technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way, down to their physical capabilities outside of resilience. This clone can function as a distraction or as a means to confuse one's opponent. As soon as the clone gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse. These clones can only be used for diversionary purposes and you must pay for each individual clone.

This is a basis technique for making clones using other substances and for the multiple clone summoning like with the Kage Bushin no Jutsu. [N]

Art of Substitution - 400 Skill Points
When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object of lesser or equal weight to them with the exception of secured objects like buildings. This can be a block of wood or even another living thing so long as they belong to the user {eg. A puppet user substituting themselves with their puppet counts for a living thing swap.}. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. This technique is not a magical swap. The object is summoned and then the ninja slips away on their own as the decoy takes the brunt of the attack as a clone. Do not use this as if you were magically swapped with the item. Any objects swapped are meant to be decoys, not projectiles or used for crushing a target. It can only be enough to take an attack for you.[N]

Tree Climbing - 600 Skill Points
The Tree Climbing technique serves a dual purpose. The first is that it helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. The second is that it teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. Surfaces are not required to be easy to traverse as you can walk on slick surfaces like glass, but they must be solid and not gas or liquid.

The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. If focus is lost then the technique deactivates.

This is necessary to learn any other solid-type of walking techniques. [T]

Water Walking - 600 Skill Points
A variation on the Tree Climbing Technique, Water Walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water. If focus is lost then the technique deactivates. This is needed to learn any type of liquid walking technique.

As the description suggests, this is exclusive to water and not all forms of liquid. For other liquids this must be used as a basis to learn a specific justu. (eg. Lava Walking) [T]

The below techniques are going to be re worked in order to potentially build onto the hidden skill attribute system. They are in the middle of revision.

Extra Training

These techniques are not added to skill lists and are simply available for extra training.

Chakra Molding - 500 Skill Points

Leaf Concentration - 500 Skill Points

Shuriken/ Kunai Target Practice - 200 Skill Points

Weight Lifting - 300 Skill Points

Weight Running - 300 Skill Points

Dummy Fighting - 200 Skill Points

Sparring - 300 Skill Points

Meditating - 300 Skill Points

 

[Lady [Ai]]

Sitting in class she was leaning her head against her hand, bored out of her mind. And it was alittle annoying that her own teacher wasn't even there yet. Which skill was she supposed to learn today? Probably nothing too interesting, but they were all things that a good shinobi should know weren't they?

Walking into class Iruka-sensei smiled. "Sorry I'm late Juliet-chan. Something came up that needed my attention" Walking to the podium and rummaging through some papers he composed himself before he started to speak. "Today's lesson will be Bunshin no Jutsu. A technique which will allow you to make clones of yourself to help fight your opponent"

Well this sounded interesting she thought.

"Mastering this technique will help you out of many situations as a shinobi. And is an essential skill to know. Juliet-chan, please come to the front of the class so we may demonstrate this jutsu."

"Hai" She said as she rose from her seat and walked to the front of the classroom, teasing the other boys in the class with a slight sway in her step.

"Ok, since you have the best chakra control this should be easy for you. Place you hands like this." He began to show her the various hand seals which were needed to perform this jutsu. Followed by a demonstration of it by himself.

[Bunshin no Jutsu: 1/3]  

[Lady [Ai]]

Mimicking his hand seals she decided to give it a try. Her hands not moving quite as fast since she was still memorizing the order. "Bunshin no Jutsu!" she shouted as a puff of smoke appeared on either side of her revealing two almost identical copies of herself, except for one thing... "EHH!!" she screeched as she looked at the two hideous version of herself frantically waving her arms at them to make them disappear.

"Settle down Juliet-chan, that was ok for your first try" He smiled and crossed his arms.

Closing her eyes tightly concentrating on making them disappear when she opened her eyes they were gone.

"Very good Juliet-chan, why don't you try again?"

"Hai sensei!" she closed her eyes again to get better control of her chakra.

[Bunshin no Jutsu: 2/3]  

[Lady [Ai]]

The hand seals now perfect in her memory she performed the hand seals very quickly, her hands barely visible to the other stidents in the class. "Bunshin no Jutsu!" Two more clouds of smoke appeared beside her. She looked at them both, they looked exactly like her. She smiles and all three of them looked up to Iruka-sensei.

Clapping his hands he smiled "Well done Juliet-chan! Alright anyone else want to come try? You can take a seat now Juliet-chan."

She nodded and began to walk back to her seat, as the two clones disappeared into clouds of smoke.

Smiling to herself at her desk she looked out the window at some of the older kids, she couldn't wait to be a real ninja.

[Bunshin no Jutsu: 3/3 Complete]  

[Lady [Ai]]

The next day Iruka-sensei was already in class preparing for the lesson when Juliet walked in through the door. "Ohayo sensei" she absent mindedly waved as she passed him and walked to her desk still groggy from waking up.

"Ohayo Juliet-chan. Today I'm going to teach you Henge no Jutsu. It's a technique that..." He was cut off by her voice.

"Henge no Jutsu is the basic skill a ninja must know to become a Genin. It is a very useful and widely used skill, as it has many uses. It's mostly used as a decoy, to confuse the opponent by transforming into somebody that's an ally with the enemy, and then attack from the back when he's not expecting it. This technique can easily be combined with other Ninjutsus for a more powerful effect, such as with Kage Bunshin no Jutsu." She was still half asleep and began rehersing what she had been studying the night before.

"Ah, yes I see you know of it already" He didn't like being cut off by his student but at least she knew what was going on. "Alright, well come over here and I'll show you how it's done.

[Lady [Ai]]

Walking to the front of the class she was startled by what was greeting her.

"Ohayo Juliet-chan!" smiled Iruka now in the form of one of her friends, one she just so happened to have a crush on. "Hey would you like to go out sometime!?" He smiles and stretched his hand up, resting them behind his head.

Taking a moment to realize that there was noway this was real she smiled and swiftly punched Iruka in the stomach, watching the puff of smoke as he returned to his normal form.

"Ahhh..." holding his stomach. "Well at least you can see what this is capable of... ohh..." He then showed her the hand seals. "Alright, now it's your turn.

[Henge no Jutsu: 2/3]  

[Lady [Ai]]

Smiling to herself she would pay him back for embarresing her infront of the class. "Henge no Jutsu!" a swirl of smoke appeared around her as she was now standing in the form of Yuuhi Kurenai, one of the other ninja's that taught at their school. She had seen Iruka with her many times. She then proceeded to wink and blow him a kiss.

"Ah..." embarresed at how she was acting her proceeded to avert his gaze.

"Why won't you look at me? Is my transformation that bad?" She giggled and looked at him.

"No it' svery nice, well done Juliet-chan. Please take you seat."

She laughed against and returned to her normal form walking back ot her seat.

[Henge no Jutsu: 3/3 Complete]

~The sun glared down upon a cloaked figure walking slowly towards the Academy. The cloak itself seemed to be shredded at the ends, giving him a otherworldly affect, though it did seem to need some washing. It had been long since Damian had decided to show himself to the world, but now it seemed he would need to if he was to become as great a shinobi as his father had wished. As he reached the doors of the Academy, Damian gently pulled back the hood of his cloak, his silver hair catching the rays of the sun as he stode onward through the doorway. It was easily noticed from his solid white eyes that he was of the Hyuuga clan, which seemed odd for he was from the Mist Village. Either way, it didn't matter, he was here to be trained. After a few moments of searching, he found a teacher that seemed to be fit enough to help him.~  

[.King Damian.]

~The teacher was a lady, seeming to be around the age of 20, though she didn't look too attractive, though this mattered not to Damian, for he was finally about to start the training that he had waited years for. So, the instructer came about before him, standing upright, "I'll be teaching you the common technique, Henge no Jutsu first. Its a basic level technique and I have no feel for how skilled you are at the moment, so watch closely." Quickly, she brought her hands together, creating a seal. Damian watched closely as she did this, so he'd remember the proper way. To his amusement, she transformed herself into a really fat old guy, which seemed very odd concidering that she was a girl. He chuckled slightly at this, watching as she transformed herself back into the lady instructer he had asked to help him, "Now its your turn.... Watch your stance and make sure that you do the seal correctly. Also, make sure that you are aware of your chakra as you do this technique, because if you aren't you'll not preform it correctly."~

~At her word, Damian brought himself into a similar position to that of what she had been. It was a bit odd having this be his first time making a hand seal, though it seemed familiar in an odd way. Slowly, he brought his hands into the seal, which was perfect, though when he tried, nothing but dust erupted about him, "What did I do wrong?" He glanced at the ground solumnly as he awaited her words of judgement. A light breeze filtered throughout the area as he simply stood, waiting, watching listening. Small things that made a shinobi whom they were. She would make the judgement though, for he knew not what he'd done wrong.~

~The teacher nodded her head slightly, a small grin upon her face as she watched the boys efforts, "You didn't watch your chakra when doing it... try again... this time pay more attention, more concentration...." His face went askew for a moment, his anger with himself building, though he did as she said. His second attempt went just as the first, his hands making the necessary symbols, though this time he was more intune with himself. He transformed into the lady herself. Her eyebrow twirked slightly as she watched herself, though it was the boy in the form of herself, "Okay.... that will be all for this Jutsu... on to the next, since you seem to have some skill." At this Damian withdrew from the form, his own hands coming back. The feeling was a bit weird yet, though soon he would master these as he thought to himself.~

~The lady continued walking til she found what seemed to be a flat enough area for the next skill that she would teach the boy. After what she had seen in the last of his accomplishments, she felt that he learned quite quickly, though he still lacked the skill that was needed. Slowly, she waited for him to stand still and watch her, "Next... you'll be learning Bushin no Jutsu. At this Damian's eyes opened a bit more. This technique he had seen his father use a long time ago, though he didn't quite pay attention to how it had been done all those years ago. He listened to her explanation, though as she preformed the technique, he wondered if he could accomplish this task as easily as the first.~

~Slowly, Damian stepped back, preforming the necessary hand seal with ease yet again, though just as in the first exercise nothing happened. His fist knotted together with anger as he watched the instructer smirk at him. If he were stronger, he'd knock the smirk off of her insolent face, though that wasn't what he was here for. So he listened to her remarks about his posture and that he wasn't concentrating his chakra properly once more.~

(2/3) Bushin no Jutsu

~An hour passed as Damian had been made to concentrate his Chakra in this time. It seemed weird at first, though he was slowly catching on. So his instructer informed him that she was ready for him to try again. Damians eyes traced her over, still wishing he could show her who she was messing with if she should smirk again. His hand seal was correctly placed as he preformed the move once again. This time, directly beside him another of himself emerged. It seemed odd staring at himself, though it was rather cool to see ones self standing there. The instructer clapped, as she walked over to the clone, sending her fist through its shadowy form. Damian only stared at her, unable to comprehend what she was trying to make out of that. She only smiled once more, "...well now you can do a couple of the necessary Jutsus, though you still have problems with controlling your chakra.... hmn... We'll have to fix that. Oh and remember, as I just showed you, a shadow can't fight. So make sure you use that jutsu properly...." At this she walked down a dirt path, expecting Damian to follow.~
