*looks back to Alexandromeda*
So... if that's what these words mean...
*pulls out a scrap of paper and writes down the glowing characters on the page, along with Alexandromeda's translation*
Hmm... This is almost an entire page... my father only managed half a page, of everything combined... I think this may be a great breakthrough!
*leans over in excitement and gives Alexandromeda a quick peck on the cheek, then returns to the book, as if unaware he had just kissed her*

****((Note, this takes place before the fight Itatsume is having with Orochimaru in the main village))****

As Itatsume slept, her dream felt real.. Walking down the street, hand-in-hand with Kachyo-san. "Oh, Kachyo-san. This is just so wonderful!" The cherry blossoms were beginning to fall of the trees. "I always knew you like the cherry trees best, Itatsume-chan," Kachyo said as he kissed her cheek lightly. The shade of red that infiltrated Itatsume's cheeks could make a rose jealous. "This.. This is perfect. Exactly how I'd pictured it." Kachyo smiled. "Yes, I know. You've told me." His smiled turned to a grin as he walked a little faster to get ahead of her. He turned around to face her, a slight bit nervous. Being filled with curiosity, Itatsume almost tripped over her kimono. "What are you doing?" she asked as she caught herself, refusing to look like a fool in front of Kachyo. "Well," he said as he dropped to one knee, "I was going to ask for your hand in marriage." Once again, the redness returned to Itatsume's cheeks. "I.. I'm only 17, Kachyo-san." She brought her hands up to her mouth as she said this, but was already planning on saying yes to him. "I-" she was cut off by an explosion off to the right. "You what?" Kachyo said as he stood up quickly and grabbed her hand to take her to safety. "Yes. I'll marry you," she said. Itatsume leaned into his body as he carried her through the air, feeling his heartbeat, and knowing that it was for her made her happy. "Antankage-sama," Kachyo said to Itatsume, "Please, stay here. Don't leave. I'll come back for you." Kachyo only called Itatsume 'Antankage-sama when he was being serious about ninja business. Itatsume nodded. "Alright." Before he left, she kissed him and said, "I'll be waiting here, Kachyo-san." Itatsume began to wake up after her dream. "Wow," she said to herself as she hugged the bear tightly and wiped away the tears that were on her cheeks. "That seems more and more real every time. I could have sworn that Kachyo-san was here and actually put a ring on my finger." She was used to talking to herself about these dreams. She looked down at her hand. "How.." There, on her left ring finger, was a beautiful diamond ring, not too big, but not too small either. "He was here.. But how.." Kachyo-san had perished in that fight, or so Itatsume had been told.

Kachyo woke up. "Damn. Again with that same dream about me proposing to Itatsume-chan. I have to find a way to get to her and give her this ring." The room at the top of her office building had been built by Kachyo for Itatsume to hide away when things got too tough for her. He stood up, not all too sure how his legs were going to treat him this time. "Damn you, Orochimaru." The onslaught of attacks on Kachyo had been from Orochimaru. He had brutally broken his legs, and not allowed him to be healed unless he revealed Itatsume's location. Though he did tell Orochimaru where Itatsume was, he didn't heal him. "That's the last time I ever trust a snake," Kachyo chuckled as he said this. "Okay," he told himself, "Now to get into that room." He took off towards Antan Kyuuketsuki, slowly at first, but got there in a reasonable amount of time. He entered the Antankage's office building discreetly, and put his hand on the wall to open the secret stairwell. "Okay," he whispered. "I know she's asleep, I can feel it.." He opened the door at the top of the steps, which closed the wall part that sealed off the stairs. When he walked in the room, he saw Itatsume laying on the bed he had built to go along with the room. Aww, he thought to himself. She looks so cute. He walked over to her, being careful not to wake her up. He picked up the teddy bear off the floor and, before he put it back in her arms, he slipped a ring on her left ring finger. He then put the bear back in her arms, and hid in the shadows and waited on her to wake up.

"But how.." Itatsume said still in shock at this.
Kachyo stood up and walked out of the corner he was in. "Because, Orochimaru made a mistake in leaving me for dead when I was still, in fact, very full of life," he said as he smiled.
Itatsume's eyes began to fill with tears. "You're.." she couldn't finish her sentence as the tears started to roll down her cheeks. She stood up off the bed and ran over to him, throwing her arms around his neck.
Kachyo smiled and wrapped his arms around Itatsume. He was a little unsteady, but that's because he was in pain. He didn't show it though. "Don't worry, Itatsume-chan, I'm not leaving anymore." His legs began to give out on him..
Itatsume caught him, and said: "You should lie down." She helped him over to the bed, and he didn't put up any struggle.
"He's on his way, or already here.."
"Don't worry. I've grown up in the past 6 months. I can beat big bad Orochimaru," Itatsume said, smiling, and then she turned to leave. "I'll kill him, I'll be sure he's dead this time, and then I'll come back and heal you. But in the mean time, I'm going to send up Jacob. He knows some of the healing spells, and can help for the time being. I'll send Alexandria as well." She opened the door and went out to the village.

Alexandria jumped in the window that led to the back room, still dragging Jacob with her. "Hi guys," she said as she went through the room. "Bye guys," she said as she rushed past them. She went to the left, since Itatsume had given her directions coming from the front door. She put her hand on the wall. It didn't work at first, so she kept trying, getting it on about the tenth try. "There. Come on, Jacob." Alexandria grabbed his arm again before he could run off and went up the stairs. When she reached the door, she opened it. "Kachyo-sama..?" she said quietly. As she walked in, she could see him lying on the bed with the teddy bear.

"A..Ale..Alex? I..Is that you?" Kachyo managed to say. He tried to sit up.

Alexandria ran over to him, and made him lie back down. "No, you need to rest." She moved down to his legs, and began healing them. "Come on, Jacob. You need to help me."

"No, you're doing a great job on your own, Alex," Kachyo said. He forced himself to sit up. "I've got to help Itatsume-chan. I can't let Orochimaru harm her anymore."

Alexandria tried to make him lie back down again, but he moved faster than she could this time. "You can't just yet..."

Alexandria looked down at her watch. "Hmm. I'm going to be late." She looked to Jacob, who was just standing there. She grabbed him and took him back down to the main floor of the office building. "Go help the others. I've got somewhere else that I have to be," she said with a smile. She patted him on the head, said "Stupid dog," and left.

*flips the page, now beginning to understand the symbols better*
Yes... Yes, it's coming together...
*runs a finger across a page, then down, and continues moving around, following a trail of seemingly-connected symbols, until...*

*the symbols touched start to glow, forming an outline of a sword*
*the glowing symbols grow brighter, and brighter, until an object appears above the open pages of the book - grabs the item, not yet knowing what it is*
This... this is...

SWEET! Now *that's* what I call a sword!

*the object is a long, scimitar-like sword, but with a jagged blade*
A sword... but... why is it...?
*notices an inscription upon the hilt - "Just in Case" *

Jacob walks up and sets his arm on ketsu's shulder"So how is everyone doing?"

"Hey i know i look like my mom but i'm not a girl." Stares at him confused.

Itatsume walked back in the office and found everyone where they were. "Where'd ya get that, Iak?" She looked at Jacob. "Get off my nephew, idiot."

"Oh yeah I come back and you cant say hi you call me an idiot...."jacob sota looks at the two younger ones....

Sorry, I spaced out there. This... blade is quite odd. It has an inscription on its hilt that I can read normally, other symbols like those in the book along one side of the blade, and unusual pictures along the other side, which seem to be depicting slicing a chunk of meat in two...
*flips a page of the book*
I wonder... Is this just a random treasure found within this tome, or are we suppose to use it against...
*goes silent for a moment*
*looks back at Itatsume*
