It didn’t take much for Ayluin to pick up the sounds of movement with his sensitive hearing. He smiled when he heard Erik walk down the stairs. They were living together for so long now, that it had become part of his home as much as anything here was. Lugh had also heard them coming down as he perched on the backrest of the nearby seat and tilted his head toward the doorway. Sure enough, there came his fellow Avian and their charge. Now the whole household was together.
"Good morning guys."The moonelf smiled at them, cheerful as ever. Anyone would be forgiven to think he had put everything behind him. He hadn’t, but he had managed to give it all a place. His gaze followed Erik as they leaned back against the counter and the elf blushed slightly.
"I was going to cook breakfast but then figured maybe I should wait until you are up and cook for us both." Ayluin hoped he had reacted fast enough.
"Any requests?" The elf smiled happily. This was good, they came right in time. He could make breakfast the moment he knew what they would prefer.
He had none himself really. Ayluin was quite an easy eater. Even if he preferred fruit above all else. He could make pancakes or simple cereal or a bowl of yogurt with fruit. Of course he knew Kro would likely want something with meat and he had already been working on Lugh’s bowl of fruit. The avian didn’t really need to eat, he fed on the faerie lights that the moonelves could conjure, but that didn’t mean he didn’t appreciate the taste of fruit and nuts. In fact he was quite partial to them. Much like his own charge, a bowl of strawberries could bribe him anyday! Except if it endangered Ayluin or those he cared about.
