Zena White, The Witch of the Woods

Zena cleared her throat out a little more before Kreiss started to remove her bowl from her hands. " Hey I wasn't finished with that." She started as she reached out to get her bowl back but he then placed his own bowl in her hand and he took hers. She looked down at the bowl with more food a little confused before she looked back up at the red bearded man. " I am not that skinny..." She muttered as she sat down across the table from Kreiss and started to eat it slowly. " I give you the larger portion because you need it. You are bigger then me so clearly your body need more then mine does."

Eating her food slowly and blowing on it gently so she wouldn't burn herself she was quiet for a few minutes. " Well I never cut a beard... But mother use to let me trim her hair so it can't be that much different cutting a beard right?" Zena said with a slight shrug. It couldn't be that hard cutting his beard, she would just have to be a little more carful was all. " It will be fine! You trust me no?" Zena said with a big grin before she started to eat again.

Just as she started eating again, Kreiss stated that they should sleep in the same bed which made the food go down the wrong way again. She tried to clear her throat and pounded he chest with a fist. " N-No!" The young woman said blushing slightly. " It may be cold and you a knight of your word but... You are a man and I a woman... You may be a knight but you are a man before a knight..." Zena muttered slightly as she looked down at her hands that where fiddling with her dress a little. She had mixed feelings about sleeping in the same bed as Kreiss. Sure, the idea at first sounded great, being in the same bed with the man you loved on cold winter nights but this was all new to her.

Kreiss Fangheart, The Knight of the Red

"Skinnier then what you were when I first arrived." Kreiss stated with a firm nod before moving to gently take a sip of his now much smaller portion. "I'm just worried for your health." He muttered as a reply. She always ate so little. Then his eyes just watched her as she spoke about how it couldn't be that hard to cut a beard. He was totally screwed if he let her cut his beard, but he couldn't back out either since he had agreed to let her take it away from him.

"Other way around Zena... I'm a knight before I am a man... The metal does come before the flesh." He stated, pointing to the armor that went over his person as if to prove a point. He then looked to his bowl and gave a nod. "But I suppose you are right though... I just... I'm worried about your person and becoming cold. I know you've survived other winters before, but you also had your bed and... Now I'm sleeping in it and you're up in the loft. Just seems like a bad idea." Kreiss tried to explain to her. His own cheeks were a deep red as well, as if embarrassed the more he talked. He quickly moved the bowl to his lips and drank down the sip, only wincing slightly as it burned down his throat. When he set the bowl down he looked to the side.

"T-The offer is always there..." He murmured. "Just so you know... Don't want to mention it and then have it not be on the table for you if you refuse right now. If that makes sense?"

" I-Its not that bad!" Zena said as she hugged her arms a little as if to get a better feel of her size and also hide it a little. She never really worried or cared about her weight, nor her mother when she was around but then again her mother always made sure Zena was feed enough and her health. " Thank you..." She said, moving her arms away from her and went back to eating the larger portion of the food.

The woman in red finished her food and set the bowl aside for a moment as Kreiss explained that the metal was before the flesh. " But not naturally..." Zena pointed out a little quietly, glancing to the side with rosie cheeks. " I understand where you are coming from though, and I am truly grateful that you worry about me but..." She thought about it for a while. It was not the greatest idea to be sleeping up in the loft at this time of year. Sooner or later she would catch a cold and she couldn't risk that because if she got sick enough to not be able to take her potion that changes her hair colour Kreiss would know her secret. Plus sleeping in the same bed as him would not only keep her warm but him as well. She let out a sight and rubbed the back of her head. " Fine... We can sleep in the same bed...But! No funny stuff you understand!? If you try anything, and I mean anything I will shove a potato in your mouth so hard it will smash your teeth in got it!?" Zena warned the knight who was now her partner.

" Now finish up your stew so I can cut that beard off." And with that the young woman got up and walked over to the chest that was filled with her mothers things. She pulled out the scissors and what looked like to be a dagger that they could use for the close cutting. She pulled out a chair into the middle of the room and got a broom ready to sweep up the hair that would be on the floor later on.

Kreiss Fangheart, The Knight of the Red

Kreiss held up a hand. "I swear on my oath to you that no funny business will happen but... Cuddles might. If you're okay with that..." He then lowered the hand and finished up the soup, muttering at the lip of the bowl. "And maybe kisses." It was quickly drowned out by the slurps and scrapings on the surface to gather the last bit of nutrition he had in his bowl. He then set it down and moved to stand up and go to the chair. His eye immediately went to the dagger and he swallowed for a moment. Having something like that so close to his neck was definitely not natural He was not going to enjoy the feeling of its edge so close to his person when he was not in control.

He settled into the chair and stretched with a groan. "So... Normally I am the one brushing you. Now you're going to take some of my hair away." Kreiss stated, touching at the beard. "An interesting trade. Maybe I should help snip a bit off your hair just to help the ends?" He teased, reaching back towards her to try and touch at her sides and hug her. He would've wiggled his hands in a tickling manner if it weren't for the fact he didn't want to risk anything while she was carrying sharp objects. That was just a disaster waiting to happen.

Zena slightly shrugged when he said cuddles might happen and she quickly turned away, not wanting to talk or think about the matter any more. She didn't hear the part about kisses at all. Zena looked over the tools she would be using to cut his beard. She would use the scissors to cut off most of his beard and the dagger for the close cut that the scissors would not be able to use. The dagger was not to sharp nor dull so she was confident that she wouldn't hurt Kreiss.

Soon enough Kreiss came to sit in the chair and she was placed the dagger to the side and had the scissors in one hand as she would be using them first. " Guess its time I start helping you with your hair problems." She stated before he mentioned cutting the ends of the hair. " No! I-I mean it's fine, I can do it later." If he cut her hair, the snipped off bits would turn red and she couldn't risk him seeing that. How would she be able to explain that? He then tried to hug her with one arm and she let out a little giggle and played with his hair a little. " Speaking of which I should trim up your hair as well." She offered before pulling out of the hug. " Alright enough fooling around, time to say good bye to that beard of yours." Zena stated before she carefully started to cut off his beard. She went slow and gentle as she did not want to hurt the man.

Once she got as much as she could with the scissors she placed the scissors down and got the dagger. "Right..." She was slightly nervous as she didn't want to hurt him. She grabbed a wet cloth and made what was left of his beard wet, hoping that it would help cut it off. " Alright, don't move..." She said softly as she slowly started with the sides of his jaws, then his upper lip. She went slow and gentle and all was going well but now it was time for under his jaw and parts of the neck. She gently lifted his jaw and started to shave under his jaw then neck. After some time she was done, without harming her beloved knight. She double checked she got it all and that she didn't hurt him, lifting his head side to side and up and down before finally stepping back and letting out a breath she had been holding in for a while. " Done! See I told you that you could trust me!" She said and handed him the mirror. " Do you want me to trim your hair as well?"
