WELCOME TO DARE OR DARE


A few of you may remember the shenanigans from Lucky's Truth or Truth "pass the ring, be forced to tell the truth" game from the island. November has taken it upon himself to have a little redo, except this time without the compulsion and without the truth.


This game takes place inside, in the dormitory building lounge / common area.

THE RULES

• This is done drabble style to prevent too much thread death! That means putting [ Character-name-here dares ] at the top of your post so that people can choose whether or not they want to dare your character to do something (if you're confused, just see the Truth or Truth thread for examples!)
  
  
• Please put anything you are uncomfortable with OOCly at the top of your post. i.e. if you do not want your character to say, kiss someone else, please say so at the top of your post!
  
  
• You may choose to forefit a dare ICly! In this case, your character will just not get a point or someone else may choose to do their dare for them and get the point!
  
  
• Nash is keeping a friendly tally of who does the most creative / fun / etc dares! There may be a little prize later on...
  
  
• You do not have to keep tally if you don't want to, it's just a little addition!
  
  
• Please keep it Gaia PG-13.
  
  
• Please do not pressure people or make them do anything OOCly that they do not want to do.
  
  
• Please do not pressure or ask people to do things off of their "nope" list (from the top of their post).
  
  
• Remember - IC actions = IC consequences.

Al is GAME. HI NOVEMBER. He waves at Nash whom he remembers from the island. "Don't think I'll go easy on you."

A grin spread across Nash's face.

"We'll start off slow," he said airily, lounging back in his seat with one leg flung carelessly over the arm of the chair. "I dare you to tweet something really outrageous with no explanation at all."

He lay sprawled sideways over an armchair, looking both comfortable and rebellious simultaneously. Nash wasn't sure how many people would come around, but it didn't really matter; even just a few small dares were exciting in and of themselves.

Adrenaline was a heady thing, after all.

"Psh, is that all?" Al fished his phone out and looked it over with a casual flair before rapidly typing something out on it. After a thoughtful pause as he read it a second time to be sure, he hit submit.

He even made it somewhat controversial and in all caps. Just for the sport of it.

It was his turn now, though, and he relished in the thought of it for a good long moment before going in for the kill. "I dare you... to tell the first person to respond to my tweet that you love them and want to have their babies - and like act like you reaaaaally mean it. With no explanation of why."

Seren slid in, feeling awkward and out of place because she probably didn't know anyone in here but was willing to give it a go. Nothing like ridiculous dares to get to know people.

Sonja had to practically keep herself from running to where everyone was meeting up at for another rousing spin-off game of Daring. Truths never really bothered her but daring was a billion times more fun.

She had forgone her jacket, netting top and shoes to be more comfortable. But her mask stayed. The buns that normally sat a top her head had been long since left down. No use in 'pretting' herself for a Dare game.

She padded into the common room, walking quickly over to Nash and giving his arm a lightly fist bump. "Great idea on doin' this." She plopped herself into one the comfy arm chairs beside the ring-leader with crossed legs.

A bark of laughter escaped Nash as he scrolled through Twitter.

"What, you want something more daring than that?" he asked, grinning widely. "I mean, I can, if you want."

It just had to be Dean.

Nash heaved a huge sigh, tapped out a response, then held the phone out for Al to see.

"That little s**t is gonna ream my a** so hard for this," he said. "I can't believe out of all the people to respond first it was Dean."

From a corner of the room, a dark head rose.

"I dare you to go give anyone in this room a hug," said October somberly. "It's very important."

Nash pointed a Twizzler in Rhys' direction.

"I dare you to get down on your knees and propose marriage to Seren here, hot stuff," he said, a grin on his face. "And make it good and sappy."

Sonja received a friendly kick to the leg as she punched his arm.

"Thanks. I thought we could all use a little fun," he said, twirling a finger in mid air to indicate this. "Also, since you so lovingly hit me, I now dare you to go up to the next person that comes into this room and sweep them up into your arms."

Seren's brows rose. "Anyone, huh?" She stood up, slowly, and gazed around the room for a long moment, then picked some one she didn't know at all. She walked over to him, and gave him a NICE big hug, then went back to settle next to Rhys, brows raised at HIS dare.

It took a little bit for Lysander to realise that there was a game of dares going on, and frankly anything was better than the boredom of hanging around doing nothing. He sat down with a shrug, not really expecting anything major around here anyway. What was the worst that could happen?
