Stahl had caught notice of the flowers Luna had picked up, the name running through his thoughts on instinct. They were surprisingly resilient given how delicate they looked, but still needed just as much care as the others. Though he still needed practice reading people, it was fairly easy for him to tell if someone was going to take care of the plants they owned...Luna, as far as he could gather, seemed like she'd be the right person for them. As she started to speak, he heard the light ring of a bell, almost making him wince...he was supposed to be on cashier duty, wasn't he? Still, he could explain his way through that for now, it wasn't like he had left the store or anything. Hearing Luna answer his question, he smiled lightly. "I see, well..." He paused for just a moment, normally welcoming someone to a town or city was normal, but he didn't know how this particular place affected her. For him, he adapted quickly, the curse simply amplifying an existing weakness...for Luna and Timitous? For all he knew she couldn't control her sudden size changing. For all he knew, the other male had been horribly disfigured, hence the veil. Either way, for better or for worse, everyone was in the same boat once they came here. "Well I hope you're settling in alright..." He said, another bell ring causing him to rub the back of his neck apologetically. "A-anyway, I should probably get back to work. I wasn't supposed to be away from the counter." He added, whispering the second sentence to them conspiratorially, smile becoming a little more sheepish as he turned to head back to his station. Again, it was nice meeting you two....oh and again let me know if you need anything." He said, offering a parting wave before making a hurried walk back to the counter. He apologised to the customer waiting, somewhat glad it didn't turn into a major complaint, and got back to work. His thoughts drifted for a little as he did. The gardening aisle was the place to meet new people it seemed, which on one hand was good because that was where his expertise was...but on the other he probably would get fired for being too distracted by the plants there. He smiled to himself as the thought passed by, uncertain if he'd actually regret that if it happened.

{OCC: hate when that happens >.< Anyway, sorry for my own delay, basically had to take apart my pc and put it back together again, took a lot of my RP time and sanity X.x }

Luna listened quietly, glancing ever so often at Timitous. He looked lost as he stood there, listening and unmoving. The poor guy, Luna might have to give him lessons. With a turn of her head, Luna watched Stahl leave to go back to his job. She blushed and scratched her head as she realized that he must have been kept from his duties because of her. Luna nodded and waved her goodbyes as she turned from Stahl, Timitous peaked up and followed Luna, leaning down to ask her what they where talking about. She simply shook her head with a smile and made a quick reply, but all in all she kept quiet as they continued through the flowers. Her fingers would glide around the petals as she passed by. They all looked so pretty. It's a shame they have to sit in doors... Lonyel would kill me if I brought them all home. A small huff, and a shake of her head, she gave a small smile as she looked at the flowers she held from earlier. Blnch flowers alfit brashtic gigielThese flowers are beautiful huh? Timitous stopped and looked down towards Luna's hands. He gave a swift nod, he wasn't one for plants. He's seen enough plants from the palace windows. With a small giggle, Luna smiled again then sighed. They have everything they came for, now it's time to head back.

Yuko sighed, the exhaustion catching up to her now in the solitude of the empty grocery store. It was near the end of the afternoon shift for today, a relief for the tired girl. She shifted, pulling her sleeves further down as she turned her gaze to the store's windows. She had trouble sleeping last night, and she'd want nothing more than to lie in bed with some tea on her bedside table, but first, she still had to finish up this shift.

The afternoon light filtered through the window, and specks of dust floated in the orange glow. She sighed again. "I'll have to clean up before closing for the day." For now, she slumped over the counter, dazed eyes trained on the outside.

Amaya floated overhead, deep in thought. She tried to make sense of what Yuko and the boy had talked about previously. All of this curse business, it's all because of a witch. Their misfortunes were bestowed upon them by a woman in despair, whose lover was executed. It was hard to wrap around the concept, and yet... What other reason could there be? It was certainly the most plausible. Amaya grumbled. Love seemed to be a bad coin in everyone's lives these days. The room grew colder, and Yuko turned her head slightly upward, curiously peering at the form of her companion.

"Any problem up there?"

"No, I was just... thinking."

Tomlin had entered the store, as he was in need of a few items, both food and personal. He spends a few good minutes looking through the store, finding what he needed, before proceeding to the registers. Almost entering a self-checkout area, he then notices a familiar face running a register, and makes his way over there. As he approaches, he notices that the air was starting to cool down during his approach. At the risk of interrupting Yuko and her companion, he speaks up. "Is Amaya acting up again?" He says. "And you're not about to close up the register, are you?" He tried to make it somewhat subtle that he might have been looking for an excuse to keep talking with her, after yesterday.

Tomlin's entrance had gone unnoticed for both girls until he'd appeared before Yuko and speaking up. Jolting from her slumped form, Yuko let out a startled yelp and yanked her sleeve down rather skittishly, stretching the material even further in order to hide her arm. "Tomlin? Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't even realize you were here until you... well, spoke up. I-I wasn't outright ignoring you, I promise!" She rambled, bowing profusely until she calmed down. She closed her eyes and sighed, visibly relaxing after her tirade. Realizing what happened previously, she smiled sheepishly as she answered his questions. "She seems to be very deep in thought since yesterday, but she wouldn't share it with me for some reason. Don't worry, it's still a little while before closing time." She takes his items and starts scanning them one by one, stacking them neatly afterwards. "What have you been up to since yesterday?" She asked, her eyes naturally switching from the register to the male. It was quite surprising for her to initiate the small talk, yet she found his presence comfortable enough to do so.

While the two conversed, Amaya paid no attention to them. She was still deep in thought, trying to connect all the pieces together. 'If we were all cursed the moment we stepped foot on this city's ground, would leaving cause the curse to disappear?' It was a rather easy solution, but it wasn't the most viable given how recent they had just moved in. It also seemed too easy; they couldn't just up and leave and have the curse lifted just like that, could they?

"It's fine. I wasn't expecting you to really notice I was here, given that you're at work." He replies. "She's deep in thought, huh? I'm guessing that she doesn't do that a lot, from how you're saying it." He starts to put his items on the conveyer belt to check out. "And I haven't been up to much. Went home...read a little...played a little Civilization..." He shrugs. "Have you and Amaya been up to anything? Other than her apparent brooding over things. And...at the risk of seeming too forward, maybe we could have dinner tonight? Keep talking about things? Wouldn't want you to get into trouble at work."

Yuko huffed softly, though rather in good nature than anything. "Very unusual. Sometimes she even forgets I'm there until I grab her attention in some way." After a few more items, she announces the total and takes the money Tomlin would present as payment, giving him back change if he had given a larger bill than his total sum. She nods, a sign that she's listening, as he lists off what he's been doing, subtly perking up at the mention of video games. "Civilization, hm? I'm guessing it's some sort of game? I'm not well-versed with video games, honestly, but I'm interested to try them out." She admits to the male as she bags his items, making sure that nothing fragile is placed at the bottom and that they're well-balanced. She jolts in surprise when he asks if she'd join him for dinner. "W-well, I--"

The shrill ring of her phone in her pocket chose the worst time, of course, catching the attention of the two as well as Amaya. Sheepishly, Yuko took her phone out, the screen lighting up with an alarm. It was closing time for the store already.

Mismatched eyes found their way back to bright yellow ones, searching. Her heart sped up a bit again, akin to the feeling of reading a romance novel or watching a romantic scene between two characters. She also remembered that Westerners were less reserved about these kinds of things, usually engaging in such activities with their friends frequently. This served to calm her down at least, her face less warm than before. "I'd love to do so. Are you fine with waiting a bit while I close the store?" She smiled.

Amaya had come down from her spot way up in the room, now circling her host with a cheeky smile. "My, my, my, a second engagement with this male? Or is this what you younger ones call a date these days?"

That comment went ignored, as do most of the spirit's quips and teasing statements do.

"Yeah, I can wait." Tomlin says, nodding a little. Noticing that she seemed a bit flustered at the question, Tomlin tries his best to give a reassuring smile. "And look, if I ever make you uncomfortable...just say so. You don't have to do something if it's making you uncomfortable. I was just wondering if you wanted to keep talking, and figured that dinner might be the best way in which to do that..."
