She'd prepared herself for this moment all week long.
All two weeks long, even.
Tucked away safely within the confines of her fuku (also known as shoving them haphazardly down the front of her bra for safekeeping), were four beautiful energy orbs. Lesath had taught her how to collect them, so the little Dark Moon senshi had put her new skills to great use, namely for one very important reason:
She wanted to please her new dark lord so that he would induct her into his vampiric society and she'd become the prettiest coolest vampire senshi ever.
The only problem was, now that she had the orbs... where in the heavens or the depths of badass vampire hell was the dark lord she'd stumbled upon, that one fateful night?
Peering over the edge of one of the lower buildings of Destiny City's downtown area, she wrinkled her nose and huffed softly. It had been exactly ten days since she'd begun her hunt for him... surely he would show up one of these nights, right??
... oh gosh, what if he'd been staked??????????

She'd felt a strong presence, but that wasn't anything new.
In the past few weeks, she'd stumbled across Negaverse agent and senshi alike - all usually out and about either screwing around or patrolling, as the term seemed to be coined. Patrolling for what, she wasn't entirely sure, but most had been fairly non-aggressive by her approach.
Most.
Without the ability to teleport, she'd been forced to find a mirror quickly when some crazy Knight had apparently decided she was worth trying to beat up - talk about an awkward and horrifying situation - but aside from that random happenstance, everything had seemed to turn out fairly kosher.
So when the powerful aura seemed to grow closer, she didn't think much of it. Most of the time they just wanted to investigate her, to ensure she wasn't a threat. Made sense, right?
But when that hauntingly familiar, low voice addressed her from behind, she all but squeaked as she spun around, nearly tripping over her own dark boots as her dark eyes grew wide.
"D-Dark Lord!!" The excitement in her voice was nearly palpable as hands flew up to her mouth, "It' you!"
Was it considered improper to hug a creature of the night???
She tried to do it anyways, rules be damned.
"I thought I would never find you again!!!"

She felt his hand gently brush the top of her head, directly in the middle where the hair began to part into split, white ponytails. She was seventeen now, not some little child but at the same time... well, if he was ancient and hundreds of years old, a seventeen year old was surely about on par with an infant in his perspective, right?
Okay, so maybe a head pat was the most appropriate thing for him to do.
"I'm sorry, sir. I got distracted."
She almost told him it was my birthday!! but that seemed like a childish response to give as an excuse for not seeking him out further. So, instead, she reached into her fuku and pulled out the three golden energy orbs that she'd been saving for this very moment.
"But I brought you a gift! See??"
Palms rose and she presented the offering to the tall man.

"Well, yeah!" She said confidently, if maybe even a little bit confused. Of course they were energy orbs - what else would he think they were? That's what they hunted down, wasn't it?
"You don't eat like normal people, so I figured you could use some!"
Her hands moved up again, gesturing for him to take them. "I can't give you blood until you're ready for mine, but I sure don't mind finding some energy to sacrifice for you."
Pausing, she shook her head. "I mean, it's not even really a sacrifice - it was worth it, collecting it in your honor. Like a present!!!"
Hopefully a present that would help her on the road to becoming a dark master, just like him!

She tilted her head, looking at him curiously. A vampire with morals?
Well... okay, that wasn't completely unheard of. Louis de Pointe du Lac was a vampire that didn't kill... and so was Angel. Later, Spike.
So okay, maybe it made a little more sense, the more she thought about it, that a vampire senshi wouldn't want to kill anybody. Yeah -- yeah! Okay, that made a lot more sense!
"Sure, I'll make sure the cops stay out of it. Clarence will help. We'll do whatever you want, sir, as long as you're happy, we're happy!"
She heistated, then paused. ".... what would you like us to get you next time, boss?"

"A mint...."
She was at a loss for words at his request, her eyebrows smashing together in confusion as she tried to understand why on earth a master of the night would ask for a coffee, much less a mint flavo---oh.
He was joking with her.
Cheeks lit up pink as her hands moved to cover her face. Finding a vampire with a sense of humor was a rarity, even if that humor came at the expense of her own humility.
A giggle bubbled up as she nodded, receiving (and approving) of his actual request. She could do that - a story for a story collector, clearly!
Taking a step back, she offered a curtsy with the frilly skirt of her fuku, adding a "I won't disappoint you, sir!" before she turned on the heels of her boots and jumped off the side of the building.
After all, energy wasn't going to collect itself!
