Taking the stage would be the Eclipse with the title around his waist. Taking a moment to take in the cheers of the crowd, a smile came to the champion before taking his signature bow for the audience. Back to his feet, Jay would make his way to the ring and eventually collect a microphone from the stage hand. Jay would then remove the title from his waist and place it to his shoulders to make things a little more comfortable. The music would die down as the Eclipse would take a moment to begin talking. A moment to soak in the cheers before raising his hand up and lowering it back to begin talking.

"Recap! I come back weeks before the Royal Rumble and find myself with the numbers stacked against me. I earn my spot, and I get shoved in the second entrant to the Rumble. I run into old rivals, new rivals, and obtain an absolute hatred for a very specific song that involves my color. All of this, and I also nearly get crushed beneath the weight of a Blue Meanie. I win the Rumble, I move on to Wrestlemania, and I take home the WWF World Championship title! Now I'll be flat out honest here and say that I never expected to have come this far. I wanted my return here to mean something rather than 'oh look he's here an- where'd he go?' I needed to get back here and do what I do, and be who I am. I haven't been me for a loooong while, and I finally felt like me during that gauntlet. I felt like that old Eclipse that rushed head-on into danger to grab what he wanted. That endurance and durability I've showed during battles against such foes as Jed and even my late bro, Mystic. That sudden chill from a strike as quick as lightning," he speaks as he raised up his elbow.

"From then to now, I can still stand in this ring and give out my introduction such as... Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters! Before you stands the man that has fought from beginning and will dance until the end. A madman that looks to be hunted for the thrill and will strike the predators twice. Standing proud as your champion, The Lotus Eclipse... Jay Blue Lightning," he spoke out the introduction and took a bow for a brief moment. Chants of Lotus broke out as Jay stood himself back up and raised a hand up to try and silence the crowd.

"I'll be the one to admit I'm not too pleased with the ending of my last match. So before I say anything else, The Pure is owed one as soon as he cuts away the diseased edgelord that's plaguing his life. So until then and if I still have this belt, I'll look forward to seeing you in the future. Now to the business at hand. Summerslam is looking to be one hell of a party as the Eclipse settles in. My opponent is cashing in and looking for the big one. The Dragon will soar in and look for the dance of a lifetime as he faces one on one against the Eclipse." Taking a moment to pause and think, the Eclipse gave a small nod to himself.

"To go off and announce your plan isn't bad at all. Highly honorable and I do admit that it eases some stress, but I do have to admit one little thing. I'm very much comfortable in the position I am whether you announced or not. I take comfort in threats. There's something so eerily ... pleasant about it. I've always sought out for the danger, and I've always wanted to keep it close. So despite not having a say in the matter, I'll still give it a sentence. Drako, I formally invite you to the Summer's Eclipse. It's up to you now to fly into the shadowed sky and reach high for that light. You can either make it, or you will fall short in the moonlight's dance." Lowering the microphone, Jay would look back to his title before getting a good grip on it and raising it up to finish his speech.
