The wonderful and intriguing second division captain had been called to a meeting with the brute captain commander. When called, the request could be denied, per the captains choice. The event would be held in the first divisions quarters, in particular the split garden. The commander wasnt allowed to lave the first division much, they say for her protection, but she knows no one could handle her outside of here. So instead she had things built just to her liking. Quite selfish, however needed to keep this women sane. This split garden was multiple gardens in one. A small herb garden in the corner, pretty flowers laying across multiple sections, and a zen sand garden along with a section for tea testing.

This is where she invited Kigaru to enjoy some tea. The old lady herself wished to enjoy some time in her split garden however it felt odd, thus, a call was made to the mysterious Kigaru. A captain whom Moriko knew little about, which frightened the old lad. So perhaps a good conversation is needed.

I just so happened to notice something you did the other day...

Kigaru smiled her very offputing smile as she made her way from her newly appointed barracks. The entire squad was still in a small bit of shell shock after she had found her way to the top of the system so quickly after suddenly arriving in the soul society. Her blade tucked safely on the small of her back, hands folded into her sleeves and her rather old looking attire with the faded remnants of Squad 2's emblem on the back present. She was, in her opinion, dressed in a casual like wear with her new uniform tucked away in one of her captain quarters closets. After giving her lieutenant some orders on what to do in her abscense she was off to the first division.

How odd the head captain called for her to stop by so soon. Only a few days had passed and a meeting already. Kigaru glanced about as others passed her, eyes darting from each person's geasture and movement. Taking it all in as she arrived at the main gates, her smirk plastered across her lips as she directed her attention to one of the guards that now approached. "Ah. Mr. Kemurra. I believe I was summoned by the head captain to meet her in the garden. " she stated as the man attempted to open his mouth, almost freezing up at her cutting him off. "Shouldn't be an issue. I am expected after all. Oh, and do make sure to rest up a bit more. The head captain might be unpleased if she caught you dozing off like you were yesterday. " she stated with her smile present, passing the man who almost looked shaken at her words.

In a few short minutes her frame came into view through a sliding door off of a main hallway to the large split garden that had been designed for the captain. Kigaru inhaled slowly and let out a content sigh, eyes opening to find a woman resting in a special section that had been set aside for tea. Kigaru was gentle in her approach, her feet gliding almost with each step as she made her way over to Moriko before reaching her, a humble bow presented before she straightened herself and rested her arms under her bust in a folded manner. "An honor to be called to you so soon Captain. I see Yachiyo did quite a fantastic job on his water project. Glad to see it running after all his hard work. " she spoke with a smile as she overlooked the area before looking back to Moriko. "May I ask the desire of this request?" she questioned as she stood with her smile. Her creepy and unsettling grin.

...It would be a shame if everyone knew about that...

The Commander herself could be found, arse mounted firmly against the hard surface of a stone chair, crafted from some rather massive rocks. They were wide and could fit the biggest of her friends, even with their feet crossed sitting in their lap. The Commander was relaxed against the chair, feet crossed in her lap, hands resting in her lap as her head raised up to the sky, eyes sealed as she gave steady breaths in and out. Today had been an eventful day of paperwork, paperwork, and.... ******** paperwork. Moriko gave a deep, frustrated sigh. She hated being in command simply for the paperwork. Commanding armies, kicking a**, and taking names she could do. The reports of commanding armies, kicking a**, and taking names truly bites. It was a frustrating game of catching up, as typically you command first then paperwork. Not to mention that the old hag despised paperwork.

With the day of paperwork coming to an end, Moriko sat relaxing. She was a busy women and quite liked it, so relaxing began to bore her and soon she was calling for someone to come and pester her. The old women thought just whom might she pester? The 11th Division was occupied sadly, so a fight seemed unlikely. Moriko offered a small sigh. "We just recently had someone join us..... Division two...... That mysterious women." The old hag's voice was raspy, rough. From years of yelling to one stabbing causing some tissue damage had caused a unique voice of a 1000 year old smoker, despite never having touched one. "Kigaru Zetsumei. Let her know Id like to see her." Moriko spoke to her Lieutenant, offering a smile and a thanks once she had begun to leave.

Until her arrival, Moriko simply enjoyed the silence. The old women could feel the presence of the other, odd, women. See when Moriko approved Kigaru she knew the... peculiarities of the women. Many reports of her odd stature, how keen she was on... everything. There was many debates on weather someone that well off with secrets and how to achieve them should be trusted. Moriko must admit, there was hesitation on her end, however for the soul good of the Soul Society accepting her as Captain was an easy thing.

Knowing nothing much about the eerie lady Moriko was rather enticed by her. She was keen on knowing everything about the lady, just how exactly did she gather intel? Moriko gathered a cup of tea in her hand and began to sip. "Ehh.... she wouldn't give it up that easy. What fun is that?" Moriko spoke to herself as she sipped her tea. Kigaru was approaching and leaving fire in her tracks, soon her appearance was obvious along with a small content sigh. Moriko's head veered in the direction, flashing an every vibrant smile. The much younger lady bowed respectfully, Moriko flashed another smile and a small chuckle, eyes memorizing the posture and all. Her head shook and gestured toward the land "Ah yes. The old fart never seems to disappoint me." Moriko's voice chipper and bright as her cup of tea was set on the side. "Please, sit." her hands moved to point at another rock beside her, cut like a chair. "You standing with your hands crossed, need some tea, possibly spiked, to help relax." her voice offered a small chuckle.

"I brought you with no real intent. Simply enjoying your company would suffice, unless you don't wish to share in pleasantries." her fingers clasped together with a small tilt of her head, the old hag's hair dangled in her face as the wind picked up, strands cupping her wrinkled cheeks. Her fingers would gather the black and grey hair, pushing it out of the way "First a congratulatory cup of tea, then simply chatting? I like to know my Captains. Well, I like to know everyone but I dont think i have time to meet everyone all alone." Her hands reached for the empty cup and the handle to the tea, offering a pour then handing off the cup. "Congratulations on your Captaincy, Captain Zetsumei."

The gentle breeze through the garden mixed with the rather pleasant scent of tea leaves brewing gave Kigaru a hint of pleasant surprise to her lips. Her smile was less the menacing and cryptic fashion and more that of a content admirer. That was only for a moment before her eyes trained on Moriko as she welcomed her and offered for her to sit. The comment on needing tea and a possible spoke to it forced a rather ominous giggle, Kigaru waving a single hand a few times towards Moriko before shaking her head. "The tea and seat sounds perfect to me. But in afraid I must decline the spike. Unless you insist if course. " she replied with a small shuffle as she positioned herself to have a seat before giving off a gentle noise.

"If I am allowed to take up some of your time I would be more than delighted to. I don't believe we have had many opportunities to share our presence together. " she stated with a nod towards Moriko before giving another small bow. "You honor me again Captain. And I'm sure you could certainly arrange for such a thing if my new soldiers would be willing to set up a perimeter of course. Can't be too carefree with the Uzaki clan wandering the streets these past few months. " she mentioned, skirting the recent events with some thug like group that was sprouting about in the lower class ends of the society.

She reached out to grasp the cup before her blade shifted on her back, a gentle chuckle sounding. "Seems I've forgotten my place. Excuse me a moment. " she said with closed eyes before her frame shifted ever so slightly, an after image forming of her smile as she set her shoes and zanpakto aside at the entrance to the garden, a swift flicker before her hands cupped the tea from Moriko's hands. Kigaru slowly leaned back to place herself into the offered seat, a content sigh sounding as her body eased and relaxed in the chair before she sipped the tea softly. "Mmm...such an impressive blend. I really should see about having someone procure them for myself. Does your lieutenant find the journey to the northern hills difficult lately to retrieve them?" she asked as her head turned to fully rest towards Moriko, her wide smile halting for only a moment as she sipped the tea gently.

After a pause she let another gentle noise out before waving her hand once again. "Listen to me. Rambling on already. I didn't officially thank you for the position!" she stated before setting the tea aside, a very formal bow once more given even if she was seated before resuming her stance. "I thank you whole heartedly for this honorable position and pray I can fulfill my duties to you at the best of my abilities." she said before cupping the tea to once more sip on it. A small hum emitted to cement her enjoyment of the tea. Even if she was being rather off in her overall...well personality when compared to others.

The old women scrunched her nose as the Captain declined the spike. "Everyone always refuses." Her voice light, a smile drawn to her wrinkled face. Her body remain lax, watching Kigaru put her arse against the stone chair. The chairs where more for fashion, at least for the everyday man. The Commander however always seemed to have no shoes on, bearing callus after callus, the pads a slightly darker shade than her body. It was no secret what her power stemmed from, earth. She seemed ever connected with it, thus the stone chairs had an ironic twist on it. Moriko's dark brown eyes, nearly pitch black, blending in rather easily with her pupil, followed Kigaru's lips as she spoke.

Intent on listening, Moriko's eyes would continue to gaze all over Kigaru's face. She tended to explore with her eyes, not necessarily meaning to, just a little habit. Moriko would wave her right hand in the air, exposing some flesh covered in tattoos, eyes still locked on the expressions of the other women "I'm a busy women, but you are as well! I felt letting you settle in might be best, given most seem overwhelmed by the idea of meeting me. Though just the first time, typically after they enjoy my presence. Not always though, not always..." Moriko offered a soft sigh, a roll of her eyes. A few commrads didn't quite like how bold and abrupt Moriko can be. Everyone has the right to the opinion and dislike, however it saddened her that others didn't enjoy her company.

Moriko licked her lips as she brought her cup of tea back up to her lips, eyebrows raising slightly as Kigaru offered intel on the outskirts. Not surprising the women knew of such things as it was her damn job, but only shy of a few days and small details as that was already known.... a small sip of her tea. Her near black eyes would shift to the backside of Kigaru, her blade causing an awful scratch against the stone. Kigaru seemed to have forgotten the blade, giving Morioko the chance to furrow her brows, watching. Kigaru would flicker about like a fairy. Interesting. While the women fluttered around, the dislike was present on Moriko's face. A slight furrow of the brow, the corner of her lips slightly downturned. It seemed pointless to use your energy for such fruitless tasks.

Moriko had both hands around her tea now, a finger inching around the cup, memorizing the feel of the glaze of the cup while Moriko continued to stare and study. Moriko had no fear locking eyes with others or staring, after all she could get away with it, being old as hell and all. In her mind, it gave her a free pass to be a little blunt. Then again, being the Captain Commander gives you some confidence to be so damn blunt. Moriko's lips that were downtrned became upturned slowly and softly, a soft nod as her eyes broke and glanced down at her cup. "My Lieutenant loves to please. She is the peaceful one out of us. Indeed it has been a challenge, I have mentioned the need not to. However, she loves to please, thus nearly once a month she travels for a supply. Darling she is." Moriko sounded like a pleased mother, gushing about her daughter. She would take a sip and glance back toward Kigaru. The other women finally drew a close to her mentions and thanked for the position. A polite smile spread across Morikos face as she offered a raised cup, letting it flow back down to her lips, finishing off her tea.

"It seems you've settled well into your division. Im curious if you're going to modify anything? Anything to your disliking?" Moriko attempted to hold back a sneeze, but failed. Sneezing, she offered an apology and wiped her nose with a fine silk that was stuffed into her uniform after.

Kigaru simply smiled and shrugged her shoulders at the remark. "I'll admit my ability to handle alcohol is rather low. I simply enjoy some nice tea when able." she said with a gentle hand passing to push some strands of hair from her face. "I try to consider my busy nature as working. And since I'm always busy, I'm always working. " she claimed with a wink before shaking her head. "You are far too kind captain. I knew this was bound to come sooner or later. I just wish I could have had some small progress in terms of my unit. They are still adjusting to my style of seniority. All darlings though. " she claimed as her idle hand rose up so slowly flick her earring. She was observing Moriko all the while being examined.

Studying one another was an odd game. Looking for tells and indicators. The way she reacted to her movements and blade making it's minor impact raised many questions and answers for Kigaru, only shaken by the smile and comment on her lieutenant. Kigaru smiled wider and nodded. "It is nice to know you share a good relation. Wish I could say the same. The lack of a second hand for this temporary situation is concerning but momentary." she stated sipping on her tea before exhaling softly.

The questions and sudden sneeze caused Kigaru to chuckle and give the usual blessing to her. "Someone's talking about you! Ah. I think I'll have a training field constructed on the east forest end of the walls. The troops need some proper field training. Perhaps I'll enlist some assistance in its construction. We shall see." she said with her eyes glancing out to the garden with an examining look. "Tell me something Captain. I've been keeping some interesting tabs on the routine visit to the land of the living. Seems we have a darker uprising as of late when compared to previous reports. It may not be my place to ask but...what do the field reports mention in terms of hollows.. " she asked as her smile grew a tad bit smaller with the sentence escaping. What did she have to gain from this conversation? Who knew but Kigaru. Deep down an intent was stirring slowly.

...It would be a shame if everyone knew about that...

A soft, lighthearted laugh fluttered out of Moriko's wrinkled mouth at the notion Kigaru lacked the capacity to hold liquor. It seemed not many in these walls could, few dared out drink the Commander. She always wondered if it was respect or genuine lack, that others would refuse to dine with the women. It was one of her favorite hobbies, drinking and sharing stories. Few would do so with the women, understandable though. Moriko was old and known as quite the ruthless leader. With all these new recruits, it was understandable that many could not connect with such a brute. Her time seemed to end while theirs was flourishing. It both warmed and chilled the Captain.

"Finding good leaders and great co-leaders is always a challange. A second in command is someone you should chose and not be forced upon. Building that trust is key, in my opinion. My Lieutenant is my left hand and sometimes they right as well. Having such a trusting bond really makes things worth while." Moriko's lips curled into a warming smile as her hands moved to clasp around each other, her gaze motioned off into her garden, eyeing at the work of many. As Kigaru spoke of possible remaking, Moriko would offer small nods "Division Two needs someone fresh to retrain their old ways. I'm quite impressed with your work and am eager to see how you shape the division." Moriko spoke, her mouth oozed compliments, another smile plastered against her face, eyes still a distant away.

When Kigaru switched topics, Moriko let out a soft sign, head tilted to the sky in what looked like thought. "Before we venture off into that topic, what exactly do you know?" Morikos head rolled to look at Kigaru, a keen interest in just what exactly this lady knew. "I bear no secrets besides that of personal matters.... even so those lack. Reports are necessarily locked away and forbidden to be read, as Im sure you're aware. Is there anything in particular you need from said reports?" Moriko's brows furrowed as she questioned the other women, hands rubbing against each other.
