[PRP] Floating on a Sunrise (Xavier + Amonee)

A handwritten letter arrived under Amonee Brycer's door step. It seemed to indicate it was for the following Day.

Am∴nee,
I'll be d∴wn by the lakeside ∴n Busthind this m∴rning. If y∴u w∴uld like t∴∴ j∴in me y∴u are m∴re than welc∴med I haven't sat and watched the sunrise in awhile.. and th∴ight I'd ∴ffer t∴∴ y∴u an invite.

Xavier had carefully written out the note and slipped it inside for Amonee to find in his hive while on the way back from working.
That following late evening Xavier packed a few breakfast sandwiches along with half lemonade and tea blends in canisters for later.

His lusus had coaxed her troll son to go out and enjoy himself in part. Anu had wanted to plant a few things and spend time sunbathing form the deck and had encouraged him to see about inviting his moirail out as he had spent time with Eilidh at length.

"Mum I'll see you a little later!" Xavier called to her as she nodded at him as she went back to the small flower pot she was tending to.

Moving outside to see if Amonee would show he debated calling the painter but in truth he wasn't sure if that meant potentially disturbing him. Gathering what was needed to make the trip Xavier kept in mind the small boat that was kept near by his destination for the morning. It occurred to Xavier if he ended up by himself he figured he could possibly grab his fishing pole maybe even.

Amonee had practically glowed upon reading the contents of the note. He hadn't gotten to spend much time watching sunrises lately due to rearranging his schedule to meet up with his night time friends. Gone were the weeks of staying up all morning and afternoon wandering around the golden landscape of Alternia. But Xavier, his moirail, was a chance to enjoy it once again. Quiet tranquil mornings watching the sky burn from darkness into fiery oranges and pinks until it was a splendid bright blue.

"Xavier! I brought something!" He waved to his friend waiting by the lake. He had a basket on his arm that was full of sandwiches and oranges. It looked like his friend had taken care of preparing the boat thankfully. Coming closer, he slipped the basket into the boat and pulled his fellow jade into a happy hug. It was always so wonderful to see Xavier.

"How have you been?" He released the other boy and stepped into the boat so they could push off at anytime. Amonee wobbled a little as it swayed on the water and sat down before he could do anything foolish that would overturn them.

Xavier hadn't been sure if his moirail would come or not. Although, knowing Amonee as well as he did he had a sneaking suspicion the other troll would with any luck. Xavier rarely made time for staying up into the early morning hours. Watching the landscape change from night to day was always a wonderful marvel. Far too many of his companions could not. It had become less of a priority as he had grown up. With nothing planned for that night or the following evening why not? E

ven if he ended up feeling tired, Xavier was fine with that.

"Ah! Amonee hello." He greeted as he waved a gloved hand in return to the other. Setting aside the drinks he had brought with, he accepted the others embrace by returning a hug of his own. The other jadeblood was always a welcomed presence in his life. Giving him a firm squeeze of affection he placed his hands on either boy's arm as they spoke.

"I am well. And you?" Xavier let his hands drop to his side as Amonee let go as well. A calm, warm static feeling in his thinkpan brought an easy going smile to the trolls face. Easing himself into the boat Xavier feared he'd overturn them if he rushed. The jadeblood sighed when the boat remained upright.,

Xavier grabbed the oar as he nudged at the shore line. Sitting down he purposely took over the task of rowing them across to the lake's center. "Thanks for coming...I thought it couldn't hurt. It's more like a treat anymore huh?" He mentioned. Shrugging at his admission, it was followed by a small sheepish smile.
