Jodan watched as Illya acknowledged the wolf at his side, giving it a good scratch behind the ear. He was glad Illya was fine now. He hated having to worry so much, and he hated the idea of losing someone else as well. He held his hands up to his chest. There were just so many emotions going through him. He remembered the kiss earlier, and watching Illya rush off to battle. So much had happened in such a short span of time. He began to wonder if maybe he rushed into things too quickly. He may need to talk to Illya sometime soon, to figure out what they should do. Sure, he would still like for the elf to train him, to help him improve his abilities. Though he wondered, with all these feelings he's having, if it would be a good idea? Or would he be too distracted by his emotions to focus properly? Perhaps, for now, they should be friends. See what the future holds for them, determine if they would want to be together.

Jodan's focus broke when he heard a few others talking among themselves, then seeming to be speaking to him. He had been so lost in thought he didn't hear what they were talking about. He stared blankly at Furiae, blinking a few times. He at least heard the last part she said, talking about offering protection against that gold-clad warrior. "Uhhh n-no need to worry about me!" He replied quickly. He glanced over to Milo as he spoke, then Furiae responding back. After their little exchange, Furiae and Caim walked away a bit, leaving him and Milo alone. His eyes feel upon Milo, who seemed hesitant to ask something. Even going so far as making that smile. Was he trying to force a smile? "It's not a problem, really." He spoke, waving his hands up. "It was kinda of surprising to see someone out of nowhere like that."

Jodan paused for a moment after hearing what Milo said. "Wh-what are you.... asking....?" He stuttered. "A god..... eater?" He stood there, a little stunned by the question. He wasn't sure what a god eater was, but it sounded like it was something powerful. Perhaps that was the reason Milo seemed hesitant? But why would he ask him? He wasn't sure if he would be of much use against something like a god eater. At most, Jodan would likely be providing support in the background rather than fighting the thing up front. "I can only assume that...." He paused breifly. "YOu know where this thing is? Wh-why are you targeting it?" He questioned. His curiousity was getting the better of him. And maybe, based on Milo's answers, he might be willing to help.
