Lady Jessierys Office

Jessierys proudly sat in her office with her attention drawn to a human man displaying a beautifully painted artwork of herself standing on a stage in the Triali gardens while her loyal subjects caused havoc among a wedding party. She eyed every detail that was painted from top to bottom, right to left. A reminder of Lyemar's success by her very rule. Of course the other character's of importance to her plan such as Shiohban, Alec, and Annabelle were painted too. She then claps in delight, "A job well done again Sir Matthias. Once again, I am astound by the work your family has been able to present to me over the many years of my existance." Jessierys then pulls open a drawer attached to her desk to pull out a bag of golden coins. "A tolken of my gratitude. And your human village shall have an upgrade so they may look more presentable," she shared. The man gave an astonished look at his Queen's generous offer and couldn't help but to bow.

"Oh, thank you my queen" he replied.

Jessierys kept her cheerful smile as she continued to speak, "Of course, I want nothing but the best for my loyal subjects." Then with the snap of her fingers two guards were present followed by two butlers. "Guards, please escort this fine gentlemen back to the village safe and sound. If i hear that a single hand or hair of his has been harmed then don't even bother returning back alive. Is that understood? I do not wish to have to search for another artist," she spoke in a venomous tone from the middle of her sentence to the end. The guards slightly flinch to her tone but nodded in agreement as they escort the artist out of their Queen's office. Jessierys then turns her attention to her butlers, "Now place this wonder piece in the conference room. That is where it belongs."

Once her butlers left with her new painting Jessierys turns her gaze onto the painting that sat behind her. Jessierys has always had a fine eye for art and adores art in every form. Especailly when per say art displays herself or her lovely children but, paintings like such were much more enjoyable when Jessierys still had all three of her first turned children. The painting before her was a portait of herself sitting in a golden backless chair with Lyssa standing to Jessierys's right and Shiobhan standing to her left while Alaric stood behind Jessierys with both hands placed on her shoulders. What a shame it was to lose two of your children? Whether they were yours by blood or not. Alaric had perished by an unknown killer and Lyssa... well, it might as well felt like she died when she had abandon her dear mother and turn her back on Lyemar, her birthright. What a shame indeed. Jessierys was gazing softly at the portrait until she began to glare and spoke, "How long do you intend to spy on me from the shadows... father?"

Jessierys turns her violet glare to meet her father's own glare. She has both her hands clasp on top her desk while sitting straight and proud. "Oh dear, have I upset you father? Have you come to give your Queen of a daughter a lecture? Hmmm?" She mocks Claudius. "I honestly don't know on what more you could lecture me about. I am a grown woman who rules Lyemar father and last time I checked the kingsom belongs to me. I now have a fiance who you could be proud to call your son-in-law that is to say if I did pick him to please you which I didn't. So, tell me? What reason would lead here into my very sanctuary to give me that glare of yours like I am some naughty child?"

Claudius quietly watched his daughter from the shadows of her office as she accepted a comissioned piece of art from a human man. Many thoughts ran through the man's head as he replayed the events that took place the last few days. The attack they made at Triali, Lyssa being Jessierys's love child with Ulrik, and the revealment of Lyemar's Baron being his daughter's lover. It boiled Claudius's blood to know that he had not been aware of his daughter's secrets affairs or the fact that Lyssa was his granddaughter this whole time. Grandaughter? How could he have not known this whole time while Lyssa lived among their palace? Yes, Lyssa was sort of already his grandchild like Shiohban and Alaric considering that they were the first three people Jessierys had sired but, never has he acknowledged any of them as really his grandchildren. Blood is blood. And what of Baron Damien?

"How long do you intend to spy on me from the shadows... father?" spoke his daughter.

His blood eyes glowed from the shadows to give away where he stood. When Claudius stepped out into the clearing he his Queen daughter a glare meant from parents who wish to scold their children for doing something terribly wrong. He continued to stay quiet until his Queen daughter was done gloating like the spoiled woman she's become. "Oh dear, have I upset you father? Have you come to give your Queen of a daughter a lecture? Hmmm?... I honestly don't know on what more you could lecture me about. I am a grown woman who rules Lyemar father and last time I checked the kingdom belongs to me. I now have a fiance who you could be proud to call your son-in-law that is to say if I did pick him to please you which I didn't. So, tell me? What reason would lead you here into my very sanctuary to give me that glare of yours like I am some naughty child?" His glare had only sharpen like a snake ready to strike. "Are you done?" he finally spoke. "Good because if you were not my Queen I'd lock you in your room for bestowing your father such behavior without any feeding. But, it is as you say, I do not rule Lyemar," he then lifted his gaze up towards the portrait that Jessierys had been starring at before he had been caught for spying.

"Is it true?" he asked Jessierys. "Is Lyssa truly your daughter with that Vi-lon Lord?" Claudius turns to meet his daughter's gaze again but she continued her smugged look which made Claudius more irritated. "Don't play coy with me Jessierys! I believe I have the right to know if Lyssa is truly my granddaughter?" he demanded by slamming both his hands on top her desk.

Jessierys carefully watched her father step out of his hiding place like the snake he is. Her relationship with Claudius had always been a mystery to viewers and Jessierys knew this because she's read the minds of those who questioned it but never would her subjects speak the thoughts outloud. Nor would she address it. It was none of their buisness and a troubling story to tell. Besides the only subjects who truly knew was her mother and those who served Jessierys's father before her rule of Lyemar and they had to be shushed whether in gold or by death. Exile wasn't a punishment in Lyemar.

Jessierys kept her dazzling display of proud statue when her father began to speak. She may not have been please when he mentioned a threat if he were still in rule but she did not break a sweat. She wasn't about to give him the satisfaction even if that threat brought back harsh memories. You would think being the daughter of Lyemar's previous ruler would have been like being handed a silver spoon but it wasn't easy. Claudius made sure of that. Then came Claudius's accusations her for keeping a secret of Lyssa's origin. Jessierys wasn't sure if to laugh or be furious towards her father. Her violet red eyes flashed menacingly and collectively she spoke, "The right you say? That's funny. You sound almost as if you are angry that Ulrik is Lyssa's father. After all, you were the one who encourage our match but accused me for Ulrik breaking my heart and marrying another woman. So, please excuse me if I do not care for your damn feelings by not mentioning that you indeed have a granddaughter." Of course, the fact about Lyssa being her blood daughter with Ulrik was a lie but that is a truth that Claudius will never know nor the rest of Vilon except for herself or her own darling children.

After taking care of some business, Damien decided to go see his Queen, his beloved. As he walked the halls in search of her, he came across some guards escorting a human. "Guard, where is Queen Jessierys?" he asked. The guard looked up with an annoyed look on his face. "In her office," he said bumping Damien's shoulder as he walked by. Not many were happy about Damien's relationship with the Queen. Damien was an outsider, he came from the Vil-lonian lands and once upon a time Ulrik's sired son. But Damien left Ulrik and came to Lyemar to serve it's Queen. Though, others do not trust him because of his past. He understood that, but it had been several hundred years now....

As he approached Jessierys' office he could hear voices beyond the door. Jessierys and Claudius. Bickering as usual. With a sigh, Damien opened the doors and walked in on their conversation. He knew of the situation with Jessierys and Lyssa... "My Queen," he bowed before Jessierys. He could sense her irritation with her father, so Damien walked around the desk and stood behind Jessierys. "My dear Queen, is this mongrel bothering you," he looked into Claudius's eyes and smirked viciously at him. Damien placed his hands upon Jessierys' shoulder and rubbed them softly. This had become quite entertaining for Damien considering Claudius hates him.

Damein then bent down and kissed his Queen's cheek. "Would you like me to escort him out, my love?" he chuckled as he saw Claudius' rage building within him. "Why do you think Jessierys told Ulrik of Lyssa? As much as our beloved Jessierys loves to play games, this time it was not." He mentioned. What Claudius's doesn't know won't hurt him.

BRAT!!!! That's what she was. A BRAT!!!!

Allissandra and Ulrik spoiled Jessierys too much in the past. That's why she's a brat. Then, Damein decided to waltz his way into the room like the proud lion he is strutting his newly named position as his daughter's fiance. The Queen's consort. Despicable. Disgusting how Damien would desire the leftovers of his father's thrown away- "My Queen... My dear Queen, is this mongrel bothering you... Would you like me to escort him out, my love?" Ulrik's bast! That what this boy was.

"With Jessierys, everything is a game," he disagreed with Damien. He was about ready to leave when a thought came to mind, the information he learned from Lady Charlotte's mind. Should he tell his daughter or not? So, he began, "No need to get rid of me so quickly. Now, that you are both here..." Changing his glare of hate to something of a smug. "Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. Lets just hope whatever spawn conspires from the two of you will actually survive or be of use this time," he grins maliciously. "Also, I believe I bare an unsettling news other than learning Lyssa's origin of birth. It has to do with Alaric's mysterious death an a particular Daeru vampire."

He knew of the situation with Jessierys and Lyssa... "My Queen," he bowed before Jessierys. He could sense her irritation with her father, so Damien walked around the desk and stood behind Jessierys. "Why do you think Jessierys told Ulrik of Lyssa? As much as our beloved Jessierys loves to play games, this time it was not." He mentioned. What Claudius's doesn't know won't hurt him.

The moment the man of Lyemar's recent gossip arrived within the office, Jessiery revealed the widest smirk as she welcomed his presence despite her snarling irritation for her father. She immediately leaned into his hands when they touched her shoulders. "As usual my love," she replied to Damien's taunt at Claudius. She folds her hands over each other on her desk to say, "This mongrel simply has no better way to spend his time other than to lecture me. As if I didn't receive enough of those through my fledgling years." Flashing her violet red eyes back to Claudius to remind her father the position she holds over him.

Jessierys then raised a hand to rub one side of Damien's cheek when he bent down to give her a kiss on her own cheek. "No, need my love. He knows the door out," she chuckles in an affection but taunting tone that would send shivers down anyone's spine. Though, depends how the person would take it. Even she noticed her father's building rage and did not stop Damien when he said, "Why do you think Jessierys told Ulrik of Lyssa? As much as our beloved Jessierys loves to play games, this time it was not." It was good to let Damien display how much more power he will have over her father. She didn't care how many people among her court didn't favor Damien because of his origin. So long as she wanted him, that is how things will be.

"No need to get rid of me so quickly. Now, that you are both here...," her father spoke again. Just when she thought he was going to finally leave her along for the day. "Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. Lets just hope whatever spawn conspires from the two of you will actually survive or be of use this time," "Oh, how surprisingly kind of-," she stopped when he mention the last part. Her composure nearly coming to a breaking point. How dare he! How dare this man mention or even speak ill of the only vampire child she bore herself and lump it together with Lyssa's betrayal. To even speak of the dead child was considered taboo among those who knew of it. Then, Claudius has the gaud to still speak. Perhaps she should of had Damien escort... no throw this man out of her office. If she wasn't so worry about losing her composure in front of her own father she would have lunged at the man to- to do what exactly. Even she could not kill him. Her mother made sure of that.

"You seem to be testing your luck today," Jessierys spoke at last. All while gripping her nails into her hands."Also, I believe I bare an unsettling news other than learning Lyssa's origin of birth. It has to do with Alaric's mysterious death by a particular Daeru vampire." he shared. "Alaric?" speaking the name of her dead vampric son who was bonded to her just as Shiobhan and Lyssa were when Jessierys turned them. Just as Ulrik had his selected vampric made child, so did she. She remembered the day like it was yesterday the little pain she felt at the lost of him. Like a needle. "No one has dared speak his name in front of me for centuries until today. Of course, by you. Now, please do share this surprisingly founded information and I'll decided if its valid. Oh, wait I can just read your mind to see if it is," she mocked. Though, she was interested.
