Blood Moon Haven

Blood Moon Haven resides in the valley, but the unique part about the Haven is that it is underground.

Alec had taken the time to rest in his room since their return from Triali and Jessierys's other surprise revealment. She had announced that Damien the Baron of Lyemar was her lover which surprised everyone. No one had guess that they were lovers. In the eyes of the public their relationship had always seemed professional but, Alec knew Jessierys had her reasons for keeping secrets. But, there was also another matter to address among the court. Alec had caught the whispers of those talking about Lyssa's true birth as the daughter of Jessierys and Ulrik. The news has even put Claudius in a sour mood to Alec's acknowledgement and one would have thought the man would be proud to have a blood grandchild but of course, he wasn't. Only Claudius would be displease bout whatever Jessierys has done. He even questioned about the deal that Alec and Annabelle had made with Jessierys to keep their sister Catherine and her little family safe.

Alec sat ontop his bed pondering his thoughts while a healer attended to his arms. Since the attack at Triali both of Alec's arms had turn his veins black and visible from summoning hellhounds. Occasionally, they burned as if his arms were hovered over fire.

Annabelle laid in her bed and looked at the ceiling. There was still so much to process since the wedding: Ulrik and Jessierys having a child (Lyssa), Damien being Jessierys lover, for how long no one knows, then she worried for her family of course and she even thought of Jenna. Annabelle wondered if Jenna had awakened from her temporary death. She sat up in bed with a sigh, she needed something to distract her for the time being. Maybe checking on her brother Alec might help. Anna climb out of bed and made her way to her brother's quarters. . .

When she got there, she knocked on the door and then opened it. Inside, she saw her brother being healed from the magic he used at the wedding. "You know, you're a damn fool using that magic. It could have killed you or our family. . .You know that right?" she said with concern and slight anger. Anna wouldn't know what to do if she had lost her brother. Her sister, niece, and nephew is all she would have left and she couldn't see them, so it's as if they are dead already. It had been a very long time since she saw her sister. Since they fled to Baelin. . . Her niece an nephew had hated her for so long . .She was glad that Chloe no longer hated her and now understands why Annabelle an Alec did what they did. Tiberius on the otherhand. . .He still hates them. . .

When Annabelle arrived and chided Alec for using dark magic he halted the healer to stop and shooed her away. "As foolish it was to summon beasts that I was not aware if I could control them properly or not the spell was effective. All for the sake of supporting our fair Queen," he countered. He could now feel the heat in his arms cooling down but, he knew the feeling would still linger. Linger like a touch.

Once the healer was out of earshot Alec threw his back onto his bed in a groan. "Well, it's a good thing that dark magic could no longer eat my soul. Fate knows we gave up that right once we became pale beasts of the dark. The worse it could do now is turn my un-beating heart and brain inside out," he told. He looks at Annabelle to read her anger-worrying expression which he couldn't help but find cute despite the contents behind that face. "I miss them too. Catherine, her darling children, and even that brooding husband of hers," he shared. Smirking for only a moment before his returning frown. Like Annabelle remembering Chloe, Alec remembered Tiberius. Those eyes full of hate. Disgust. Betrayal. "I would never allow true harm come to them from me. Fear? Yes, if only to keep them safe. Death? Never." he reassured his little sister.

Shio had just returned from a little "hunting" trip feeling rather refreshed and in high spirits. The poor male had no idea that after their little tryst he was to satisfy a different hunger. Not the best her prowling had offered, but it would do for the time being. She had been ravenous after returning from the wedding. In the back of her mind she still thirsted for her lover who remained in her homeland, ruling in her stead until otherwise. Thinking about him even now had her wet with desire. Nothing to do about it though. As she walked through the halls the shadows seemed to tremble in her wake as if in fear of becoming part of her arsenal. The ebb and flow of darkness was unforgiving no matter the wielder. She had used much of her power and still had narrowly escaped her daughters wrath. Her daughters.... They had grown so much in their abilities without her ever realizing it. In truth, she wasn't sure who had progressed more, Shiobhann or Fraeya. OR as they go by now, Eve or Ciara. Despicable names for such as they. Nothing that intones the power they posses or from whence they hail. Utterly ridiculous.

But no matter. She wouldn't let thoughts of her beautiful daughters taint her good mood. With a swish of her head to clear her hair from her shoulder Shio walked the halls of the castle barefoot. When home she rarely wore shoes. Or anything that counted as clothes. Mostly strips of fabric that left little to the imagination. Today was no different. The sheer fabric was a deep blue, almost black color that sparkled. It was long, open sleeves that cuffed in gold, wrapping around the neck the two panels hung openly save for the gold belt that sat on her hips securing it together. An old tune popped into her head that she begun to hum while walking around trying to find something to entertain herself with.

"Now where are the other little pets hiding today, I wonder."
