- Battle Information - [Bael is at the ready in case of conflict!]
It was a bit disappointing to hear that the sandshrew hadn't seen any adult humans on the mountain, but that didn't mean they weren't on the island. Just... Not on the mountain. At the mention of a giant steel and flying type, Bael tilted his head. ^I... Don't think so. Not unless it's a skarmory big enough to eat people in one gulp. I think one of the other humans called it a... Halo-copter?^ Not helping the confusion of either was the fact that Bael was a pup, so it was easy enough for him to misunderstand something like that as well. And he was in his ball at the time, so he didn't get to see what the helicopter himself.
Changing the subject a bit, added that the other task they had was to get a partner, and tossed in a bit more flattery while he was at it. He might have been young, but he'd been around his trainer's mom-not-mom enough to see how useful a well-placed compliment could be. It was enough for the white pokemon to consider his request and approach the girl, bombarding the both of them with questions all the while. Although, Bael was the only one of the two that could understand them. ^Oh yeah, she's really nice! She likes to give me treats and rub me behind my ears~ ...I don't think we have any treats with us, though... Oh! She does have something pretty, though!^ Excitedly, Bael started nosing at one of Aria's pockets.
That was easier to do than it might have seen, as Aria had crouched down to get closer to the sandshrew's level when it approached. "Hello there, little cutie~ Would you like to come along with us?" she asked sweetly, although she was a little confused on what to do when the sandshrew held out her claws. Not because she didn't understand the universal sign for "gimmie!" but because she wasn't quite sure what she had to give. She had pens, both the odd one from the duffel bag as well as her selection from her backpack of school supplies, and lots of paper, also in her backpack, but she somehow thought that drawing supplies would be lost on the little pokemon. She didn't really have much in the way of food, since she had been expecting to sit in a classroom and study instead of taking a field trip. And the TM, she was a bit reluctant to use on a pokemon she hadn't caught yet. But when Bael nosed her pocket, Aria realized she did have one thing to give. She had a few spare hair ties tucked in there for in case the one currently holding her braid in place fell out somewhere, and while most of them were just simple black elastic bands, one of them was a pretty ribbon in one of Aria's favorite color, a pale sky blue that matched the blouse she was wearing.
Pulling it out with the hand not holding a pokeball, Aria showed the sandshrew the shiny strip of pale blue cloth. "I think this would look nice against the white of your hide," she commented as she offered the sandshrew the ribbon. She also held out the pokeball in case the pokemon decided that it wanted to catch itself. Or if it wanted to play with the ball, that'd work too. She was nice, but that didn't mean she wouldn't have a trick or two.

The moment that Chrono realized it would move no more, he jump into enjoy his feast. Circle of life and all that greatness, as he swallow and tore until there was nothing left by a wet smear, and then he would flap his wings and fly to land upon the shoulder of his Trainer again.
After such a good meal, he would not make any more moves for a bit.
Jasiri would laugh lightly at the situation.
"A good meal, that help you grow stronger. This might be a good place we landed in ..afterall."
She declares as he walks further into the place of shade, trees, and death. (4/10)
"I wonder how far we have to go to get to the resort. I wonder how far we must go to find that stupid idiot that has run away from the resort."

It was needless to say that the heat and the bugs and the wildlife was starting to get to her. After all, she was a city girl at heart and nothing could change the fact that being outside was not her favorite thing to do or experience. Thus, there was only one thing going on in her mind.
She wanted to find the idiots and get home sooner than later.
Jasiri was grumbling while Chrono dozy lightly. A good meal, meant that his feathers would be fluffed and happy. (5/10)
It would take a while before Chrono rouse, and the girl would look at her pokemon with envy. She wish she could change places with him, but that wasn't going to happen as they took one step after another deeper and deeper into the forest.
Walking sucks big times, and she was getting tired of it completely.
Thus, the thought came to mind to simply sit down, and she would do that ...as her feather company would wake up and look over at them. His tail feathers would shake a bit as he yawns and looks down at his trainer.
She had finally decided stopping in a shady place was best. She would tuck her arms behind her head and lean against a tree.
"So, if you are up now, I am going to take a nap. It's your turn to be on guard duty."
The pokemon would almost laugh at her statement as he flap once and then twice and then would leave her a perch for a much higher one. He had no problem with switch since it meant that he wouldn't be carrying her either.

(Oh great, when I realize I have been needlessly quoting you ...then I roll a battle)
Onyxia kept walking looking around before an idea finally hit her. "We could have burned stuff in the garden to signal." With the idea of using a fire to signal she looked for cloths, wood, paper, anything she could burn. "Come on Ordo, let's look for stuff." After they grabbed a fair amount flammable items they would need to get to the roof. "We got this Ordo."
Nim hadn't gotten far into the Garden, and she'd already find herself being assaulted. Unlike before however this was a rather confusing form of attack. From out of the bushes a Buneary wearing a tie would appear, holding a tea-pot half asleep Dedenne inside. ">AH YOU'VE ARRIVED AT LAST!<" The Normal-type would proclaim, and before either Nim or Eins could object, the pair would find themselves being shoved towards a glass table and the trappings of a lovely tea party.
Nim would be seated in one chair, a large top hat thrust onto her head, and Eins would be placed opposite given a lovely blue bow. Wait this was wrong somehow wasn't it.....OH WELL!
Immediately following their placement, everyone would be given a cup of tea. Including the rose bush for some reason. ">Drink up! Else it'll go cold! And that would be a waste....of TEA! OH THE TRAVES-TEA!<" The Buneary proclaimed before slugging back his beverage and smashing the cup upon his head. He cared about the tea, not so much the china apparently. [Roll]

Sol quirked a brow. It would seem they were being challenged...well he couldn't fault the Totodile for it's enthusiasm; but he could make him pay for it! Of course the best Pokemon for that job was definitely his Golett!
Gesturing to Umbra, the boy point to the lake "Electricity and water mix poorly, so don't use that. Go for an Astonish!" The young merchant directed dramatically! Better yet after this he could wash off his scarf and Umbra!
Dropping his pack, the Golett would raise his arms and march forward. A bounty? Just what had happened to this place in order to make humans evacuate it? Swinging his arm in counter-clockwise fashion, the sound of cranking gears could be heard as his heart's ticking became faster. With absolutely Astonish-ing speed the Golett would come forth to strike the Totodile in the snout!
Starter Pokemon: Golett Name & Level: Umbra, Lv 4 [Temperament] Brave Bio: Shaped from clay and given life centuries ago, this Golett was created with a singular purpose: to serve the people of his homeland. In times of peace that meant simple feats of strength, hauling limber and iron. In times of war...acts far more grim in nature. His last images of a world long lost to the sands of time, were of his comrades and redness of flame. Then....darkness.
When he rose again it was to the shattered ruins of what once was, and the broken forms of other Golett. He wandered the remains of the castle for a time, but departed before long. There was no point in protecting a land which had been forgotten by the ages, and so he went in search of a new "purpose". It was this same search that would lead him to the tunnels beneath Roshan City. A veritable maze, the tunnels see frequent use by smugglers and those of less than legal enterprises. It was here that he encountered Sol, and where he found purpose once more. Dubbed "Umbra" by the boy, he once more found himself with a home and people to serve; but in his ticking "heart" he knew it was only a matter of time before he once more graced the battlefield.
Jasiri's brief rest would be interrupted by a loud pecking nose. A Fletchling clung to a branch upside-down, rapping his beak rapidly against the bark right by her head. He didn't even take notice of the girl, content to happily tap and tap and tap his way to amusement. The sound and vibrations, however, were quite powerful given the small creature's size, and it might be hard for anyone to get some rest...
Sadly the girl's attempts would immediately go up into smoke, the object she had gathered bursting into flame as a Pokemon stepped into her path. With red wings moving as smoothly and beautifully as a leaf upon the wind, the Pokemon would give a dynamic coo as she displayed her passionate dance steps. It was a challenge of sorts, but not the one Onyxia would be accustomed to.
Nearby a guitar and several other instruments would begin to play as a group of Bellsprout, suspiciously dressed like a mariachi band, would arrive! In the the wings, or other the roof, two Roselia and one Budew wearing a large furry hat would also appear, looking down upon those gathered judgingly. It would seem that of all things....the Oricorio before her, was challenging Onyxia to a dance-off!
The Sandshrew wiggled her stubby little ears at the mention of rubs; she was quite pleased at the idea. With her naturally-cold body temperature, she appreciated scritches AND the warmth. And Aria looked quite warm.
Her glossy eyes widened as she saw the offered ribbon, and she'd give several cheerful squeaks! /It would!/ she gasped, completely unaware that Aria couldn't understand her. /Oooo, it's such a pretty color!/ She'd glance between the ribbon and the Pokeball, weighing her options. Well, it wasn't as though she had much family on this mountain anymore, and it was expected that some Pokemon would get captured. And this human seemed pretty generous. /You better help me with that ribbon, and I'll help you!/ she'd remark to Aria, before batting the ball and disappearing in a flash of light.

... what..." was all Nim could manage as she let herself be manhandled, too surprised to do anything self. She eyed the group warily, resisting the urge to fidget with her new hat. These Pokemon weren't being openly hostile, but that didn't mean anything. It could be a trap! She'd glance down at her cup, weighing her options.
Eins had no such compunctions, and went full bottoms-up, chugging the drink.
Worrying that the Pokemon might revolt if she didn't drink it, Nim took a deep breath, scrunched her nose, and took a sip.

Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 4 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. ((12+2+2)-7)+(12-11) = 10 DMG! Totodile is at 9 HP!
The Totodile squawked, flailing helplessly in the water. He hadn't expected the dreaded snoot-boop! Clearly, this was a terrible opponent to be reckoned with... but for now, he was left barely paddling in the water,

As the pair drank their tea, their mouths would be filled with a rich yet subtle mixture of sweet, spicy, sour, bitter, and slight dryness. Once the last drop hit there tongues however, Pokemon and Trainer would feel an odd sensation throughout their bodies. A calmness they had never felt before, like laying on the floor and witnessing the universe. So in-sync did they seem to be, that it would manage to open their minds and lead to a greater understanding!
This was clearly very good tea.
