It was difficult, Riyak kept his magic power flowing at a level where he could maintain control, but each step Riyak took felt as if his power was going to run away and break free. "Leorio, I'm going to go find food and some water, I'll be a little while but if anything happens..." Riyak trailed off before pulling out a piece of silver. Riyak then cut his finger on one of his teeth and let the blood drip onto the silver. The high magic content of his blood tainted the silver a red hue and it seemed to emit the same type of energy Riyak was. "This should keep any animal away, however should anything else come at you you can release the magic stored up in there, I'll be able to sense it and I'll be over in thirty seconds at most" Riyak said before handing the tainted silver to Leorio before running off.
It took Riyak a while to find anything in the wildlands but eventually he stumbled upon two beasts, however, while they were predators, the beasts were fleeing, Riyak assumed they were running from him. "calm, control, just use a little power, not much... eight percent should do" Riyak said as his aura changed, he was no longer just letting his power flow, he was about to use it. Riyak launched himself forwards, he felt almost sluggish using only eight percent yet he was in control. The first punch sent the first beast tumbling forwards, it was a direct blow to the head, a weak point, and Riyak had felt the bones crunch beneath his fist, so he figured that one was dead which only left the second one. Riyak, without the element of surprise was left on dodging the beasts large claws. A few moments past before Riyak and the beast came to a stop as Riyak blocked an attack with his arm using his aura, yet still blood was drawn Nine percent... Ten Percent... Riyak was subconsciously raising his limit on his power and a moment later the beast was blown back in a red wave of his aura "thirteen... fourteen..." Riyak had gone to counting out loud as a familiar bloodlust returned Riyak ripped the beast apart as his power was now double of what he had limited himself to. That wasn't enough though, Riyak kept beating the dead animal try to make it feel more pain until suddenly he stopped himself "Twenty percent... I was at twenty" Riyak said before letting out a small sigh, while he had a small rampage he didn't completely lose himself, it was a start. After Riyak wiped himself off a little he looked around to see if anyone saw his little out burst

Marzia 'I don't want to be alone'
Marzia had arrived back in the wildlands, her previous friendship had been lost and she felt extremely disheartened and terribly lost, which wasn't like the young girl.
"Sometimes I just want to be up there..." she said to herself, as she looked into the sky, closing her eyes for what felt like forever. Opening them again, she pulled her backpack up onto her shoulders and continued her walk, to where? Who knew.
Marzia came to a small area where there was some shade from the sun, she stood in it for a second, taking out a small set of tweezers from her bag. Looking around to make sure nobody was close, she took her jacket off, revealing her augmented arm, that appeared to be hurt and possibly not working properly. "Silly wolves, I didn't want to hurt them..." she said to herself, as she sat her arm on a stone and stuck the tweezers inbetween all the lightning blue, cyber veins throughout it. Marzia picked out lots of wolf hair, and with it some teeth. She placed her hand on the floor and from the sand appeared a small bottle of water, which she continue to rinse her arm with, wincing at the pain. Marzia hated what she had become, but also saw the positive sides of things, at least she was alive.
Before she could finish, Marzia let out a sharp gasp as she heard someone in the distance. It sounded like they were in a fight, she quickly put her jacket on and got her backpack ready, making sure her arm was covered. She raced to the sound of the noise, not really knowing how she could be of any help to the poor soul, and watched as a young man ended the lives of two beasts. "Woah... awesome..." she said, watching in awe. Something was different about this young man though, she could tell he was almost enjoying the fight, which made her nervous, yet unable to peel herself away.
Once the fight was over, Marzia noticed the young man looking around, they caught instant eye contact and Marzia froze on the spot, she glared at him, her legs almost giving way from nerves. "Marzia.. run!! run... why are your legs not working darn!!" she thought to herself. Her mind was on a roll with a million thoughts a minute, however through the fear of her life being on the line, a thought cropped in to her head.
"I wonder if he would like a sticker from my very special sticker book?!?!?".

Riyak froze as he noticed another that had seen what he did, he wondered what she'd do, many would run, some might try and fight a monster like him, barely anyone just stuck around though. However as several moments past of the two just standing there Riyak wondered if perhaps he should say something. However as he was about to walk over and talk he saw something that scared him, a third beast was behind the girl A third one? no its right behind her! he thought to himself. Riyak's aura flared to life and with a small blast of power Riyak flew in impacting the beast. Riyak kept himself restrained as much as possible, but after that little spat of power he used on the other beasts he wasn't sure he could keep himself restrained, in this battle it was the monster to be feared it was himself. "MOVE! its dangerous here!" Riyak order before he spun around and landed a blow with his heel on the beast sending it skidding back. The beast roared at Riyak, yet in response Riyak let more power flow, he was at ten percent now "I'll kill you in one go" Riyak said before launching himself at the beast, in one blow Riyaks fist destroyed the beasts chest creating a hole clean through it. As the beast fell down dead Riyak let out a sigh of relief as he let his aura fade, "heh, I did it, no loss of control just complete control instead" Riyak said, though it was only ten percent of his power
After the small fight was done Riyak looked back at the girl "Sorry about that, I was hunting them and it kinda got out of hand, sorry again" Riyak said, yet as he walked towards her he felt... nervous? Riyak couldn't help but feel nervous as he walked towards her. Riyak scratched the back of his head a little before extending his hand "I'm Riyak, are you okay? whats your name?" Riyak asked though he let a small amount of his red aura flare, just a little to hide the small blush he had

Marzia 'I don't want to be alone'
Marzia still couldn't move her legs, she noticed him about to take a step towards her and was preparing for her end. Closing her eyes and wincing at the thought of the pain she was about to experience, she had to slightly open one eye as nothing was happening. "Aren't you going to-" she was cut off short by the sound of heavy breathing behind her, close enough that she could feel the breaths moving her hair. Marzia froze once again, and turned around to witness the beast that had appeared behind her, "AHHHHHHHHH!!!" she let out a piercing shriek with fear as she fell onto her backside, glaring at the beast that was about to rip her to shreds.
As it went in for the blow, Marzia held her hand infront of her face as if to protect it, she soon moved her hand as the man blew a hole through its chest, ending its life instantly. She heard the young man mention something about controlling himself, just what was he?
Marzia stood up and dusted herself down, looking at a small rip in her top from a stone she had it on. "Ohhh this is just a new one as well!" she said, disappointed, almost forgetting what had just happened. Looking at the young man she let out a little smile, "Thank you for saving me, I wasn't quite ready to die yet!" she said, giggling like the little girl she was. "My name is Marzia, nice to meet you Riyak!" she said, looking at his hand with slight confusion, she didn't understand what he wanted her to do with his hand as she had never really been around people before this moment.
To make things even more cringe for poor Riyak, Marzia thought she knew what he wanted. She put her finger in the air to show she understood what he wanted, and went rummaging into her bag to pull out her most prized possession - the sticker book. "Um, lets see.. for destroying those beasts you can get a... uh.. oh I know!!" and she stuck the sticker onto the palm of his hand, as if he would understand why. "You can have the sword sticker, its a really special one!" she said, smiling with such pride.
Marzia before long was distracted by the beast on the ground, she walked over to its body and crouched down beside it, looking at it from the bottom to the top. "I've never seen one of these before... woah..." she said, remembering that it wasn't long ago that she had seen a bird for the first time in her life.

Riyak looked a tad perplexed at the girls speech, she told him that she wasn't quite ready to die yet, Riyak figured that, most people weren't gung ho on suicide. Soon after she introduced herself Marzia, however after that she just stared at his outstretched hand unsure of what to do. This made Riyak feel quite awkward. To make everything worse Marzia reached into her backpack and pulled out a book before flipping through the pages and giving Riyak a sticker. Riyak withdrew his hand and laughed slightly trying to keep a smile, the whole thing was awkward and honestly Riyak felt as if he'd be more comfortable fighting the killer critters again, right now he wasn't quite sure how to react. however it made him at least feel a bit better that he wasn't the worst at social situations. "Umm... th-thanks? it looks really nice" Riyak stammered out before Marz went over and looked over the beast.
Riyak sighed, at least they were past the awkward meet and greet, and while dissecting monsters wasn't his favorite hobby it had to be a little less awkward. Whelp here we go Riyak thought to himself before he walked over to it as well. "Yeah, neither have I, though looking at it now..." Riyak trailed off before the creatures seemed to evaporate. "magic energy?" Suddenly Riyak's eyes grew wide and he turned on a dime throwing a punch that was caught by a middle aged looking man in armor "Impressive kid, pretty strong punch" Riyak withdrew his hand, he didn't show it because he was battle ready again, however Riyak was surprised that the man caught his punch even if it wasn't enhanced "that aside, I've been watching you two, I was wondering if you could help me out a little" the man asked, smirking a little as he looked at Riyak

Marzia 'I don't want to be alone'
Marzia grinned when Riyak let out his short chuckle, she one hundred percent thought he loved his sticker and understood her excitement, which he obviously didn't. "It looks perfect on you! I knew you would suit that one!" Marzia said, looking back down at the creature.
Marzia got a little bit of a fright when the creature turned into what looked like dust, she was very confused but put her hand through the dust as if to feel it. "Magic, you mean someone made these?" she said, both shocked and confused.
Before Marzia could continue her questioning to poor Riyak, she was stunned at how quickly the situation before her arose. She stopped in her tracks and almost forgot to breath, at a loss of how to respond she stood back a little bit and positioned herself more behind Riyak, who currently had his fist caught by someone else. "Hey! You better watch it, my friend here can give you a good punch to the shin if you aren't careful!" she said, sounding so unthreatening and unimpressive.
Upon hearing his proposition, Marzia looked at Riyak and then back at the man in armour. She was always interested in helping people, however wanted to wait and see what her new friend decided, and would stick by his side.

The man smiled as Marz spoke saying that the boy could give him a good punch to the shin should he not be careful. The way she said it made him laugh, she was so nonthreatening, though he figured that the boy definitely could do some damage should he want to. "What do you want help with? I don't tend to help those who create magic beasts to attack people" Riyak said as he stood in an offensive stance "well then, how about saving everything nearby? Boy I know it may sound creepy but I've been keeping an eye on you, and you're power is what we need. Currently, not far from here, there is a ripple in time, such a crack in reality holds something far beyond our control, should it continue to grow, it ill eclipse this land" The man said. While the crack in time did exist it wasn't something that was expanding it was actually harmless, well the rift itself was harmless, the man was lying but he was quite convincing, to Riyak at least. Riyak wanted to help, after all he did, Riyak wanted to try and redeem himself and if could help people out he was going to do it "What do we need to do to stop this?" Riyak asked which made the man happy as he had the boy in his palm.
A small light appeared beside the man before it expanded and formed a full blown portal. "This will transport you into the rift, I will be joining you of course, within the rift there is a weapon that maintains it, what I need you two for is that there are those who exist in the rift, they seek the destruction of this world their goal is to strengthen the weapon, I will target the weapon I need you two to cover me while I do, after that we will retreat and the rift should close, I nearly forgot, within the rift is an outflow of magic power you will both feel more powerful than normal" the man said before gesturing to the portal "Well?" he asked. Riyak looked at portal before looking at Marz "If I can save lives I will do it, I'm going, are you going to come as well?" Riyak asked before walking towards the portal

Marzia 'I don't want to be alone'
Marzia didn't like this man one bit, he laughed at her threat and she didn't like it when people laughed at her. After all, she was more powerful than even she knew. However, when Marzia heard that people could possibly be hurt or die from this rift, she instantly wanted to help, especially since her new friend Riyak was going. Marzia gave the man a suspicious look, she was so trusting of people normally but this man gave her the chills, which she didn't like.
Looking at Riyak, the decision was made for both of them. Marzia clenched her fist and smirked, looking at him. "Let's do this!" she said, following behind Riyak. She managed to get him alone for a brief moment in which she was able to whisper for only his ears, "Riyak, we need to be careful with this man. I don't know I just get a weird feeling..." she whispered, shivering a little before she followed him through the portal, preparing herself as best as she could.
For a second she thought very sad thoughts, and why nobody had ever come to save her through all of her years of torture.. she wondered why she was so keen to help people, when they had never been too keen to ever help her.

Riyak smiled as Marzia agreed to come, however she did offer a warning to be careful of the man, Riyak nodded before walking through the portal with her. As Riyak and Marzia went through the portal the man who had sent them through smiled, before activating a spell on his arm, runes began shifting and changing. "Good, the girl was a bonus, all that was needed was the Lycanoid, my lordship I will have the weapon soon" he said before walking through the portal himself. The land that the portal lead to was completely different compared to the skaglands that they were just in. As Riyak came through on the other side he was taken back by everything around him. It was entirely alien, massive structures towered into the skies and things that Riyak could not even begin to explain littered the area, yet despite this the whole place felt dead, there was no one around. The structures were empty, but what was most shocking was the amount of magic in the air, it was almost palatable Riyak could feel his eyes going red, though he kept it together for now. As the man appeared on the other side of the portal he began to explain. "From what we have learned this place appears to be than very distant future, however don't let the plant life fool you, this world is dying. We assume the connection to our world is to conquer it and take it as their new home, we are here to sever the tie that connects us and save our world" the man explained before motioning for them to follow.
The man lead them through streets and some of the old buildings as they walked the magic in the air kept getting thicker, the amount of magic was absolutely staggering. "What we have gathered is that the amount of magic in this world has some how increased exponentially to a degree where it is literally ripping this world apart, we used a backdoor of sorts as to not run into the main force of people here, but were almost there and there should be at a few guards over the tether between our worlds" he said as he jumped over a river. After a few more minutes of travel one solitary man appeared in the distance "Get ready everyone, this is where we part, I'll find the tether you two deal with him I will find you when I'm done" he said before the spell he activated on his arm earlier began to respond "however I will launch the first volley for you, good luck" Suddenly a beam of pure magic force ripped apart the near by area obliterating everything it came in contact with. Yet as it reached the man he held up one hand and stopped the beam, before jumping towards Riyak and Marzia, by this time the man that brought them here was gone.
Riyak was the first targeted, the man brought down a massive blade Riyak managed to leap back in time to avoid the sword, yet as he did his blue shirt tore away and a slash across his chest opened. As he landed Riyak held his chest, the wound wasn't deep but it shocked Riyak all the sameThe mere force of swinging that blade cut me? This is insane! Riyak thought before his red aura enveloped him, there was no time to joke around. As Riyak did that the man looked at Marzia "Kids or no, I will not allow anyone to come here!" he said before he took both hands and swung his blade in Marzia's direction, the force alone causing a shockwave that was heading right for her

Once they were through to portal, Marzia stuck very closely to Riyaks side, holding onto his arm as they followed the man in armour. She had never seen anything like this before, the huge buildings falling to pieces and covered in overgrowth almost made her dizzy. Her augmented arm felt different as it was still covered by her jumper, however she could tell there was something different about it, something more powerful. Pulling her sleeve over it to make sure nobody could sense or see it at all, she gulped and continue to stick by her new friends side.
"Wait, people live here?" she questioned to the man, Marzia couldn't believe that people could live in such a deserted and broken world. Before she could have her question answered, she came to a halt with the others when the man appeared in the distance, seeming to be ready for a fight.
Marzia gulped again, she was terrified, but let go of Riyak to allow him to move freely without her holding him. She was terrified of what could happen, this was made worse when the man was gone, however leaving behind a huge energy ball that was seemingly, and simply, absorbed by the man, who was obviously now hostile and ready for a fight. She let out a little whelp as she witnessed Riyak was bleeding, and was terrified of what could happen to her.
"Riyak! I don't know what to do!!!" she yelled, never being in this situation before. Sure Marzia had taken down a wolf, a bird and a couple of weak scientists in her short lifetime, but she had never been in contact with someone like this. Realizing that he was coming for her made her panic, she froze with fear but realized something... she wasn't alone.
Marzia had a friend on her side, there was two against one. She clenched her fists and took a quick second to try to focus her energy, which was easier than normal due to her power being heightened quite a bit. "HYAH!" she let out a shout as she placed her hands on the ground, from the ground rose two big stone walls in front of her, still not strong enough to protect her fully from the shockwave. The shockwave ripped through both walls and was made lighter by the time it got to her, however she was still blown backwards a few yards, taken totally off of her feet.
Marzia sat up quickly, and looked at the huge track on the ground her body had made. She didn't feel too sore however, and could feel power pulsing through her augmented arm and chest. Standing up, brushing the rubble off her, she looked at the man and was ready again. "We aren't going to lose this mr!" she said, not really sure at all what she was doing. She looked at Riyak and smiled, she wanted him to know she was here, and she was going to do whatever she could to protect them both.
This feeling.. I've never felt more alive or ready, I've never felt this strong before! she thought to herself, as she placed her hands on the ground again, making the part beneath her glow slightly. From underneath where the man was standing parts of the ground rose almost like tentacles, sharp enough to pierce straight through a man, some aimed straight for him and others aimed to wrap around him and trap him, there were six in total. "I've got you!" she shouted, not really paying attention to anything else around her, rookie mistake.
