General Rules / Info
Please familiarize yourself with the shop's main rules located on our front page if you're not familiar with them already. A link can be found in the first post of this thread.
For the purpose of hiring, any templates used are strictly for hiring purposes at Rammalin ONLY. You are not to share these templates with anyone, or continue to use them outside of the hiring process. If you break this rule not only will you be blacklisted from the shop, but you will be reported. Please know that we are VERY serious about this!
We are looking for people who have at least some free time on a fairly regular basis to apply. This doesn't mean you have to be on all the time, but you should be able to meet your quotas consistently (and don't worry -- our quotas are very generous!).
If you know that you have a history of drama with anyone who is currently staff (atm, that includes only Owlsomniac, Ktns, Brosephiine, Jullian de Akillian) please do not consider applying.
Understand that should you be hired, as a staff member, you will be expected to maintain a neutral standing in the shop should any drama happen to break out. While we strive to keep Rammalin a drama-free zone, sometimes things happen - but remember it's not your place to intervene!
Know that as a staff member your imput, just like that of our patrons, is valued. Should the topic of future changes come up that may affect current workings of the shop, etc, staff members will always be asked about their opinions.
Please have some mode of communication other than Gaia available at which Owlsomniac and/or Ktns may reach you if needed (AIM is preferable, but skype and email work, too).
Payment and perks for each position will be listed below in the respective post for that position.
Finally -- use common sense, and have fun! After all, that's the main reason we're here c:

About the Position Possibly one of the most under-appreciated positions in most shops. The certist handles one of the most important functions of a shop -- which is getting the pets certed so that people can pick them up and play with them, as well as updating the Owner's List so that we can see who owns what.
It may not sound like much to a lot of people on the surface, but believe us when we say that we really can not do this without our certists!
Also, a lot of colorists really hate certing (Owlie included, haha @@; ) and so always keep in mind just how much we really do appreciate your work!
Responsibilities / Requirements
Drop off pets at least once per week. Cert requests should not go longer than 10 days before being completed after having been posted. Requests for cert updates and the like take second priority.
Owner's List should be updated at the time of dropping off each batch of certs (or shortly after), in order to ensure that it is up to date.
You will need to have access to Photoshop, or a similar program, in order to work with our certs. If your program does not handle paths, then you will not be able to cert for us. (GIMP and Sai do not work for this file.)
Payment
You will receive 60% of all shop Escrow gold at the end of the month. Basically, this is the cut of the gold that the shop takes after any event (such as from Raffles and Flatsales).

About the Position Basically, you make pretty things for us! Whoo!
Seriously, though, without colorists we wouldn't be able to do a whole lot, would we? So we do ask that anyone applying here be certain that they will be able to meet whatever their monthly quota for that month is (whether it's Customs, Breedings or Sales).
There will be positions for Uni colorists, and Familiar colorists, and Full/Part time positions for both. At the moment, we are not looking to hire guest colorists, though this may become available in the future.
Requirements
Please only apply for a position that you know you can comfortably meet the monthly requirements for! We would rather have you list yourself for Part Time and end up doing more work than Full Time and fall short!
If you do edits, please edit at least 2 of your samples, with one of them being near the highest level of edits you're capable and/or comfortable doing (for instance if you know you may want to do some really elaborate hair edits in the future, please show us what you're capable of to some extent!)
Remember that some edits such as mecha/robot and extreme mutations (extra heads, changing the species) are not acceptable. Don't let this hold you back if you're unsure about applying an edit to your application, though. Even if the edit isn't acceptable, we'll be looking at the skill of the lines/shading more than anything else to determine whether we will allow you to edit pets in the future should you be hired.
While we accept most sorts of markings, and all types of colors, please use common sense and taste when coloring. Heavy use of brushes still doesn't look good (it never does). Remember to color the lines and the shading. We're not really looking for perfection here, as we can always help you to tailor things to suit what we need -- we just need to make sure you seem to know what you're doing. So have fun!
Remember these templates are for hiring purposes ONLY. Don't make us hunt you down later neutral
You'll need a program such as Photoshop or the like to color these files. Any program that is capable of handling files/layers/clipping masks should be fine.
Use common sense, and have fun coloring!
Responsibilities
These will differ depending on your position. Note that these requirements apply only to whatever you're assigned that month (Sales, Customs or Breedings). You will never be assigned more than one "type" of quota per month.
Full Time - SALES :: 3-5 pets for sales and/or freebies - CUSTOMS :: 2-4 slots - BREEDINGS :: 2-4 slots
Part Time - SALES :: 2-4 pets for sales and/or freebies - CUSTOMS :: 1-3 slots - BREEDINGS :: 1-3 slots
Payment
FLATSALES :: You keep 50%, and the rest goes into the show Escrow account.
RAFFLES :: 70% is divided among all participating colorists, with the remaining 30% going to the shop Escrow.
AUCTIONS :: You keep 90%, the remaining 10% goes to the shop Escrow.
CUSTOMS & BREEDINGS :: You keep 100% of all profits.
TIPS :: 100% of tips will go to the shop Escrow to be fairly divided among staff. This does not apply to tips given for Customs or Breedings - those are yours!
SHOP ESCROW :: Any "escrow" gold accumulated during an event will be held until the end of the month. At the end of the month, 20% will go to all colorists who participated that month in events or freebies, divided evenly among them. 60% will go to the certist. The remaining 20% will be divided among the host(s) for any events held that month.
APPLICATION To apply, simply fill out the form below. Remember to indicate Full vs Part time, as well as whether you wish to be a Uni colorist or Familiar-only colorist.
Please color a minimum of 3 samples and post the thumbnails under a spoiler. Please do NOT use Photobucket (it lags horribly and I will skip entries that use it. Use imgur or something similar).
NOTE :: If hired, we may use your application samples for upcoming events. Therefore, do not color original characters or designs onto these lines for hiring purposes that you do not want to risk being given away to others.

Templates YOU MAY::
Use the provided hairstyles / horns / edits available in this file as default styles for unedited entries. Make edits to the base in addition to any default edits provided. Create entirely new hairstyles / edits to be used for an edited entry.
YOU MAY NOT::
Post the link for this template anywhere. Use this template anywhere outside of this hiring thread, including anywhere else on Gaia. List anything colored on these templates as "coloring samples" anywhere, including gaia, without giving CLEAR and proper credit linking back to the shop itself. Claim these lines as yours.
