As the friends came up in line, there were now only 12 left, including them. Nico inspected each of them for far longer than he inspected the other. He looked to Dylan first. "You have a coldness in your heart no one else sees. But you devote yourself to proving you can be more. The magic you have inside you is very powerful indeed. As for what it will be, I cannot tell. You are a mystery until later on." He moved onto to Shilga next. "You have suffered. Deeply. You have been hurt and scorned. But a torrent of passion ever moving strives to be released within you. With magic, I believe I can help you with some of your problems. I can see the hurt on your back, as well as within your mind. Wind shall guide your hand. You also seem to be empathetic. I do not know what other powers you will possess." Finally, he moved onto Serah. "As far as I can tell, you lie. But out of all three of you, I cannot tell what you are capable of or how you are lying. But something inside that I can see, is broken. I'll have to watch you closely."

He walked to the front of the three of them and scratched his chin absentmindedly for a moment. "Serah, I will need some time to discover what is within you. Shilga, see me in three hours from now in my office. I shall need to tend to you to aid you otherwise you will be left behind. Dylan, you are worth far more than you know. Do not let others tell you otherwise." He smiled and gave out a chuckle. "You three are an interesting trio. All friends, flocked to each other. Each exceptionally powerful. Each suffering from pain within. I will need to keep a close eye on you three indeed."

Nico walked to the center and clapped his hands, a resonating boom sounding. 12 remained. It seems the others had not heard what Nico had said to the friends. "You shall all meet me within 4 hours in the front entrance where we will begin your lessons. Congratulations. You have passed and are now my apprentices. I will do what I can to help your progress and will teach you everything I have learned." With a wave of his hand, he was gone.

For a moment, utter fear gripped her heart as Nico examined them. Seeing into Dylan's and Shilga's past. Would he be able to see into hers as well? No, she would not let him. She had thrown up a wall around her mind, just as she was taught too from many books she had read on training and protecting your mind. It seemed to work as Nico finally came to her. But even then, he was able to tell she was lying about everything. He was fantastic indeed. She looked to her friends with a new belief. Powerful, all of them. They all had amazing power. But what would her and Dylan wield? As for Shilga, Serah knew of the burns on her back and the fact she suffered from Aspbergers. Could Nico really heal those things? If he could, she would need to see if she could heal her own wounds with time.

She walked to stand in front of her friends and smiled. "We made it. Powerful....feels weird to hear that from someone after so long. After everything though, we all made it. No more tests, no more hardships. Finally, we can begin to improve our lives. Together we shall strive to go forward." She stamped the ground repeatedly while jumping up and down excitedly. "Gosh I am so pumped!" She then bonked herself on the head. "Shilga! You can control wind! How cool is that! And Nico is gonna heal your back!"

Shilga could see that Nico was coming as Dylan was seen first. She was confused on what he meant that Dylan had the coldness in his heart, he didn't seem cold....after all, he did hold her hand and hugged her when she was crying.

When it was her turn however, that was when she was a bit fearful. "You have suffered. Deeply. You have been hurt and scorned. But a torrent of passion ever moving strives to be released within you. That made her mouth open in shock as no one knew about her back, the scars that it bared, reminding her of what happened when she became too trusting and to believe in the words 'love'.

However, moved to Serah, Shilga was now more puzzled as he said Serah lied and would have to be watched closely. Nick requested for Shilga to see him in three hours from now in his office. She went to her phone and puts on a timer for three hours so she would remember. But she was confused what was meant to be tended to not be left behind. What does that mean? She thought as she then realized that she would see him in 2 hours...was there a point to putting on a timer? She kept it on anyways...she'll just put an alarm on that was 2 hours for now.

As Nico left, Serah spoke in relief that they all made it, no more tests and hardships. That is a relief She thought, as she knew it meant she could rest up. But the next thing Serah said was what made her shocked. "My back? Naaaaaaah! What do you mean? My back is fine!" She assumed Serah and everyone else besides her family never saw her back bare. "But yeah, wind is kind of cool....anyway, we can rest up for two hours and get ready for the first lesson..."

You are a mystery until later on." Coldness? I mean he was a very powerful man and he could see what others couldn't. He nodded at Nico, letting him know he heard him loud and clear. Dylan kept his eyes straight as he listened to Nico diagnose Shilga and Serah. He had no idea how badly Shilga suffered or what Serah was hiding. For now he would have to wait. If the girls wanted to tell Dylan, than so be it.

The last comment made him smirk just lightly. His mother used to tell him that. Nico disappeared and Dylan relaxed, thinking of the comments. Maybe he was going to be able to control ice. Normally that meant rigidness. He then turned his attention to the girls and nodded, "Yeah we can rest up. I'm sure all of us are still pretty tired."

With a skeptical look towards Shilga, she dropped the subject. Serah had seen Shilga's back during gym class. But if Shilga was trying to hide it, Serah wasn't going to push it. She had her own things to hide after all. She looked over to Dylan. "I wish he would of been able to tell us what we could do though. But oh well. I say we go get some grub. I am starved." She hooked her arm through their's and dragged them throughout the monastery until the found the cafeteria. The menu said to order whatever they wanted. Serah stroked her chin thoughtfully. "I want medium rare steak, over easy eggs, bacon, french toast with maple syrup, and strawberry jam." On the table before her, a plate appeared with her exact order, cooked and seasoned to perfection. She touched her food with her fork in amazement. Taking an experimental bite, she moaned in pleasure. "This is like an orgasm in my mouth."

She felt her body being dragged by Serah as they went to the cafeteria. She really thought the place was nice and the menu said they can order whatever they wanted....WHATEVER THEY WANTED?! Shilga took advantage of that!

"Loco Moco with 1% Milk please!"

and *poof!* There it was! White rice, with a hamburger patty on top of it, that was underneath an egg over easy. And to top it off, it was drowned in gravy. Shilga licked her lips as she grabbed her fork and was about to eat it until her friend said something strange. "You could say anything else besides an......an....orga.....you could've said it tastes like heaven!" She had to calm herself as she then went on to eating the delicious meat with white rice, egg, and gravy.

Of course Dylan went with them. First they were his friends and wanted to spend time with them and also Serah hooked her arms with his. When he sat down, he read it, too. "Order whatever you want?" He then hummed, "Chicken and dumplings?" BAM there it was. This brought back memories. He then grabbed a spoon and took a bite of it, smiling lightly. "Oh wow. This is good and amazing. They just order what we want and get it. I love this."

Chuckling at Shilga, she shoveled more food into her mouth. She ordered a second plate and by the time she was finished, she could of sworn she had gained 50lbs and her belly was bloated outwards like an anime character. She sighed contently. "That was amazing. It's about time for us to head over though now. Shilga, you still need to head over to the office at the moment and talk with Nico. You better get going if you don't want to be late." She gave her an encouraging smile and waved her on.

Turning towards Dylan she smiled. "We should get going ourselves as well so we aren't the last ones to show up again." She stood up and went to grab her plate, but it vanished before she could get a hold of it. "Oh," she stated with a quick breath. That was nifty. The entire place must of been enchanted with magic by Nico himself.

Shilga was in shock when Serah ordered more food. One would think the fat character (aka Shilga) would eat a lot, but in all honestly she was not. She did let the plate vanish as she stood up, when Serah mentioned she needed to go to the office. She gulped slightly as she nodded; that needed to be done. She gave a small wave to Dylan as well before leaving.

She wondered what was needed to be talked about, she kind of forgot. She walked down the hallway to try to find the office. She was able to eventually; sitting down on the couch that sat next to the door...awaiting what Nico wanted to say to her.

"Oh yeah." Dylan turned to Shilga after Serah made the comment that she still had to meet Nico in his office. "Good thing you remembered, Serah." Seriously Dylan only ate one bowl. Sometimes it was not even enough to feed a bird, but he was full and happy. He waved back at Shilga then turned back to Serah. "Right. We made it this far, we can't make a bad impression."

He wiped his mouth and went to do the same, but looked at Serah as the bowl vanished from his hand. "That was cool, right?"

Nico was in the middle of writing down some more of his knowledge when re sensed Shilga waiting outside. In his free time he was always writing down on another scroll to add to his library. He stretched out after leaning back in his chair and stood up. Walking to the door, he opened it and peeked his head out, smiling at Shilga. "Right on time I see. I enjoy that. Do come in." He allowed her to walk inside and closed the door behind them. He sat down at his chair and folded his hands together, setting them gently down at his desk. "I can sense your pain. Your back severely hurts after all this time doesn't it? I can also see that you suffer from Aspberger disease. I can cure your back completely and and put a block in your mind to help with your disease. I can probably cure that as well. But I am still untested in that field and I do not know what could happen so I would rather not attempt it until I am more certain of it's effects. But of course, I would not do these things without your permission. But with what is to come, I would plead you at least allow me to heal your back. Otherwise you may not be able to keep up for too long because of the pain your burns would cause you."

Shilga could only stare at him as she was lead to sit at the chair across from his desk. She could only listen to him as he spoke about the pain on her back, it did hurt in a way but it wasn't that bad....and her Aspergers was just a mental disorder, it couldn't be fixed just like that. Although it seemed like the back was the initial reason for it. "I mean...is it going to be that bad to the point I won't keep up?" She had to ask as she had no idea why the back needed to heal....and why he was so insisted on it. So she shrugged at him. "If you really need to....then it's fine...I guess." She spoke, a little weirded out she will have to take off her shirt and bra to get her back to fully heal. Which made her flush and shake her head. "How does it exactly work? The healing process?"

Nico understood her hesitance. She was wary of her symptoms suddenly being gone. Of course that could never happen right? It was impossible. He smirked with his eyes closed. Than gazing at her he simply stated,"Many things are possible with magic. All I need is your permission. Your clothes may remain on. I just need to come into contact with your back. The reason I say this is magic takes it's toll on the body. As far as I know, it seeks out weak points and flaws. Most of the time it's easy to contain. I can always leave well enough alone for now and we can address it later after you will have experienced the ritual. Which is how we gain our magic in the first place. After the ritual, your back would not have been a problem. But the ritual itself is what worries me. As for your disease, it's more or so to help you focus, concentrate, and be more aware and confident of who you are. I know Asperger disease can be rough on anyone. But as I stated before, this is all up to you."

She really had no idea what to say in this situation, it just....just didn't make sense to her. Of course, it seems like it would seek out weak points and flaws, maybe physical flaws at first, aka her back. But she knew there was no way magic can 'somehow' get rid of a mental disorder...it was not that simple....she thought anyways. "I....guess....ok. Back healing it is." She was having doubts about this whole thing but it seemed like he was a professional at this type of stuff. "And well...what exactly is the ritual?"

Nico nodded to her. He walked behind her and stuck his hand to her back. He hummed a bit under his breath and his hand began glowing a white. Within a few moments he was done. He pressed his fingers to her back in some places before nodding. "It turns out the healing spells I used were not powerful enough to heal burns. I shall have to devise something to combat that. But I did place some protection wards on them to help during the ritual." He walked back to his chair to sit down. Upon sitting down, he crossed his fingers and placed his elbows across the table. "As for the ritual I cannot say. No one will know until they reach that point."
