BEING IMMORTAL HAS ITS UPS AND DOWNS.
Especially when you're a deity.
You always have to look out for others.
Even if they're doing the stupidest things ever.
You can't just take your eyes off of them.
You always have to swoop in and help them somehow.
Just not yourself.
Fun, isn't it?

Although, what if there was a time where such deities ended up weighing too much of the destruction that mortals created?
Forests burning down.
Mortals killing and wounding one another to the point where death is the only concern.
The rapid loss of water and resources.
Nonetheless, both mortals and immortals are out to murder each other in cold blood.
Blaming on one another.
As if they were to find a solution that way.

This led to the downfall of all gods and deities.
There was nothing they could do anymore.
The burden was just too strong.
Now, hey were all trapped in a place they had to soon call their new home.
The Enchanted Forest of Diretir.
Known for how no one, just no one...
...can escape.

"NARROWMINDED, AREN'T YOU? I see why Pollux always is so tired around you. You're just a huge ball of energy that never seems to end," murmured a voice.
"I AM NOT! What makes you think that?" argued another.

A hand combed through the brunet's locks, the one who had spoken first earlier. His expression looking more than just than being unamused. They've been traveling around in this forest for what felt like years! They might've aged a few deity years even!
Unfair it was; just being dropped in some place that had terrible weather and was unknown to them both. Especially in their sleep too. That was super mean.

"BE QUIET, WILL YOU? You're making quite the ruckus... What if there's someone here?" the brunet snapped, his eyebrows furrowing a bit as he pulled apart the nearby shrubs and bushes. He was looking for a hidden exit or some sort, but he wasn't having any luck.
"WE'RE DEITIES. Immortals. Do you even understand what 'immortals' mean?" stated the other male. The other boy crossed his arms and his golden eyes shone rather unhappily.
"I SWEAR TO THE RIVER STYX,WE'RE BOTH BLOODY HALF-IMMORTAL. Half, I say! We can still die!" yelled out the brunet before he ended up walking away from the other.
"WELL, IT'S BETTER THAN NOTH---HEY, ROMULUS! Don't you dare leave me!" exclaimed the blond, pushing pass the thorny bushes and yanking his toga out whenever it got caught.
It seemed like the brunet male didn't care, but eventually he stopped in his tracks. Not because of the other boy. It was because of what he saw. Was that... was a person or two over there?

The eternally decaying boy opened his eyes to find himself in the forest. For a moment he looked around before realizing that this forest was not his home. Where did all the red trees go? He suddenly felt a wave of anxiety. What had happened to his friends? Would they be able to take care of themselves while he was gone? How did he get out of his forest in the first place? Aruna had told him that he was never to leave his home or his friends would miss him. Perhaps this was all just another one of his strange dreams...though it felt too real to be. The boy got to his feet and stumbled a bit in his oversized boots. He didn't know what to do and began to panic. He called out the only name that he knew besides his own into the forest. "Aruna!"
From behind the boy a voice replied, "I am right here, Cor."
The boy turned around quickly to see that his friend had been sitting behind him the whole time.
The woman stood up, the silky fabric of her dress swooping to her sides and the chains around her ankles clanking. "You have been asleep for a very long time," she said, her words seeming to appear from nowhere as she had no lips for the words to come from. By 'a long time' she meant years, but she didn't seem to mind it much.
"Are we in a dream?" Cor questioned, looking around nervously.
Aruna replied simply,"No."
"Oh." Cor turned a bit, noticing someone or something approaching the pair. New friends? He hoped so.

Romulus' head snapped towards the blond male when he spoke. He put a finger against his own lips as a gesture to literally just shut up. They haven't seen anyone here for the past few years... so why would someone show up now? Odd as it was to think about it...

Although, the curiosity pricked at the blond "teenager's" mind. What was it? What was happening? What were they going to do? Mindless questions ransacked his brain, his mouth twitching to say something. As much as he was the talkative one, he knew that he had to shut up or else.

Buuuuuut.... he couldn't. He had to. He gotta.

"Hello there! Are you okay?!" yelled out the blond boy, waving his hands in the air as he bounced up and down.

Oh. My. Styx.

Yep, he's going to be dead. Or well, both of them are supposedly going to be.

"Quiet down, Castor!"
Romulus whispered harshly, pulling the other deity by the ear. "You're going to get us killed! Do you not understand? Killed!"

Well, Castor staggered to the side, his face twisted in pain as the brunet god yanked his ear. He cried out in pain and supposedly tried his best to claw or push away Romulus. Except. Well, he had shorter arms than Romulus. "Aaaghhh, let go will you?! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"

Cor brightened up a bit as he heard a voice asking if they were okay. Phew! That means these people must be friendly. The boy felt a bit nervous at the thought of going to talk to someone new, though. Someone who wasn't a tree or...Aruna. He looked to Aruna and she stared blankly back at him. She wasn't very good at expressing, but Cor didn't mind. She also wasn't good at talking though, so he would probably have to introduce them both."Let's see who that is," Cor told his friend, reaching out for her hand.
Aruna nodded silently and took the shorter deity's hand gently. The boy led her over as they heard two people bickering.
"Hello, friends," Cor said, waving a boney hand at the two, "We are lost. Perhaps you could help us...?"

"Holy mother duck!" exclaimed Castor, pulling Romulus right in front of him. Okay, it was a little foggy in here and... well... Castor didn't expect that. He kinda expected a person... a non-rotting person by all means.

Romulus flinched at the sight. Okay, he thought of the same thing too, but he didn't have much a reaction. As much as they looked as much as... well... decomposing... he had to be kind right? It didn't matter how they looked, even if they freaked the heck out of you. The way the other person declared them as friends right after the bat, a smile kinda washed across his face. It was obvious that this person was the typical person who really made friends with everyone and tried their best when someone pushed them away.

The taller of the duo slammed his elbow against Castor's side, unimpressed and rather surprised a bit by Castor's choice of words. Wonder where he got that from. Probably Jupiter for who knows what anyway...

Castor groaned in pain at Romulus' sudden actions. How violent for the leader of Rome... He held his side as he doubled over, rolling back and forth as he clutched part of his toga. Childish as he could be... "Aw... aw man.."

Romulus rolled his eyes at the sight before looking at the other two in surprise. "You're lost too? Uhm well, I don't think we can be much help. We've been walking all around here and I can't seem to find an exit," he remarked with a nod of his head. "Ah, that's right. Forgot. My name's Romulus. Nice to meet you." He put his hand before him; as if he were to expect Cor to shake his hand.

Cor looked a bit confused at Castor's sudden exclamation. Uh oh. Had he surprised them? "Oh dear...Well this is concerning," Cor said, furrowing his brow. He brightened a bit and said, "I suppose it's better to all be lost together than to be lost alone, though."
Aruna stared down at Castor as he rolled around on the ground. She seemed to have no real emotional reaction to the new friends. She did introduce herself, however. "I am Aruna," she said after Romulus had offered his name.
Cor smiled and then added, "And I am Cor." He looked down at Romulus' extended hand quizzically. He wasn't quite sure what to do so he took the new friend's hand into his own and stood happily holding both Aruna and Romulus' hands.
