As Cheryl progressed through the maniacal haunted house, she had stumbled upon what looked like... no... "No, I am not a zombie!" She screamed as she took up the axe she had in hand and started cleaving her way through them, ridding them of her sight. They were all just figmants of imagination, anyways.

As Sensuke struggled to make it through in this haunted house, he had noticed that there was a package of medical supplies laid out on the ground before him. Whether they were real or not was debatable, but he was not going to pass up an opportunity of patching himself up.

As she had stumbled upon the old man who she had saw periodically during her travels through the haunted house, she had stopped to ask him what he had saw through the house. Before she could get a word out, however, she was ambushed by a big guy with a beard just as big. Being dragged along, he invited the two of them to his vape-lounge "What? that was all that could be said from Usugu as she questioned why. Why was this supposed to be scary? Why did he drag them to this offshoot place? Just, why?

"..." There was nothing she could answer to that flirting attempt. Not without trying to punch his face in. And she wasn't going to do so right now. "Are you implying I need protection?" Her voice was dangerous, but still, a sigh escaped the redhead, turning to face the green haired guy. "I can take care of myself. If anything..." she hesitated for a moment, before making up her mind. "Have you seen a dark haired guy with magenta eyes? Hatsu. I need to find him."

Though a door opening behind them took her attention, eyes shifting to the figures coming out of the door. She tensed, preparing herself for the fight to come.

I saw it! With my own eyes this time, I saw the truth behind that son of a b***h!

The other day the clown called Ikuhisa down to the lab. I told him not to go, and to wait for Nuri to say something, but before long little bro was along to tell Iku he was disappointed he ignored orders! Later on, Ikuhisa went down to the lab...and he didn't come out for a full day. Finally I went to check on him, worried, and when I looked around the place I realized for the first time how disgusting it was. There were people sitting limp against the wall, as if their minds were already drained, Shadows clinging to their bodies like parasites just trying to drain what little nutrition there was left out of their physical bodies. There were even some complicated...note...things I kind of understood, that explained the growth spread along the wall came from those were underwent the first few experiments. Something about trying to make their lives, or destinies, or whatever manifest...but whenever he'd pulled it out of them, it'd go rampant like an imagination with no limits, spreading spores and viruses all over the place. What the hell is that suppose to mean? It said that some of them were even dead, or inflicted with experiments and injuries that should have left them dead...but as long as these new, bizarre Shadows survived, nothing the Freak did to their bodies would kill them! They were like walking corpses...literal freaking zombies! Ugh, I don't even know what I saw anymore.

I was just about to leave that disgusting place, when I remembered what I was there for; or, when Izuhisa reminded me what I was there for. His cracked voice came from a room away, and I saw the door was cracked open...it's not trespassing if it's already open, right?...well, whatever! Because sitting on the f**king Mad Mime's operating table was Izuhisa, like some slab of meat! He was sitting straight up, but he was barely moving, like he was energy-less and lifeless. His voice barely came out, but it looked like he was having trouble even moving his lips. And, this a*****e clown, had stuck some sort of device connected to a tube or something on his head! I ran over and instantly tried to pull it off of him, but when I did he fell off the table, like he was dead. When I put it back on, he gasped desperately, and yelled at me to back off. His lips were cracked and dry, and his whole body seemed to be convulsing against it, but he used what free will he still had to tell me that he had lied to get Izuhisa down here, and got our older brother and sister Izazumo and Tsuruhime too. He said he'd seen them, lifeless, like the others...apparently Nuri's finally snapped! He said the Clown promised him eternal life, and a curse to whatever ailment afflicted him, something he'd been working on for some time. But in order to make it work for him, in order to tweak it for the Nuri Family, he wanted Televaldi to volunteer us as ginny pigs! I kept telling him to shut up, because I was trying to pick him up off the floor, but he used what little strength he had to shove my grip away.

Even though he kept fighting me, I drug him back upstairs, and we're hiding out at my room, near Space 60. I'm going to get Izuhisa out of here, but he keeps clawing at me, his body fighting back even as he apologizes. He even scratched me a couple times, which made me notice his hands. They're covered in a mixture of dark substances...one is black, like that stuff Shadows make, and it looks like it keeps spreading up his wrist. The other smelled worse, and I thought it was strange at first, but then I noticed his body...there are marks all over it, where he must have been clawing at himself early in the experiment, trying to fight off the pain and suffering inside of him. I guess that dark red stuff is blood and skin...heh, it's even got some of mine under those nails now, too. I don't know what that damn experiment did to him, but I'll find a way to reverse it. Even if I have to go to the Kirijo, I'm not letting Izuhisa go! He and I are twins, we've been together since the beginning! Even Nuri can go to hell, if he wants to break us up!

Ugh, I know I've been here too long already. I just...have this sick feeling in my stomach. Actually, it's been there for a while now, ever since I was in that awful smelling lab. I tried to cover my nose, but I guess it's kind of late for that. I'll...I'll get out of here soon. I shouldn't be writing anymore, but if Zazi put something in that lab, I might collapse before I get to the Kirijo, or something. In that case, I'll have to keep this on me, so they know I'm not trying to attack them. So I...

...I just feel so sick...ugh, it's like death, I feel so bad...

The room was already dark due to a lamp, one of it's few light sources, laying smashed on the floor nearby in some prior scuffle. That said, it felt like the atmosphere only became more oppressive as two bodies covered in a sticky, damp black substance made disjointed movements towards the Persona Users. The uncoordinated steps moved left and right, swaying without proper control, and yet they continued to draw closer Seika...to their prey. Their faces were scarred, wounded from whatever mayhem they had been put through before now, and their clothing was as ragged as the bodies underneath, even with the bites and exposed wounds standing in stark contrast to the jet black and unnatural skin. Whatever shred of an identity they once had, whatever physical features had once made them stand out from their fellow human beings, it had all been sapped away from abuse by abuse on the operating table by the world's most insanely foul "doctor"...and this was all that remained.

"...o...the..." The lips on one of them began to move, but what came out was hardly better than a growl. It's movements paused for a moment, as if vestiges of humanity remained...but any hope of that disappeared as the creatures lashed forward suddenly, gnashing it's teeth as tattered nails lunged forward in an attempt to tear at the flesh of Seika. "Ot...otheeAAAAAAAAAKKKKKK!" The other stumbled but refused to fall, pushed forward by sheer killing intent as it shuffled towards Mikoto in a frenzy, the unabating hatred of the pair unleashed on the heroes at last.

"S-stop!" Mikoto slipped in front of Seika as the zombie lashed out at her, kicking (his shoes were pretty thick, hopefully they wouldn't bite through them!) the zombie back as he tried to use his body to protect the red head. She'd mentioned a magenta-eyed...boyfriend? Well, that was slightly disheartening, but he still had to protect her from whatever these...things were! He'd be scum if he didn't. "M-maybe we should run away. I...can't tell...what even are they?" Mikoto asked rhetorically, disgusted at their indescribable, almost otherworldly appearances. Whatever they were, they looked like they'd returned from the underworld to be here...and that only sent another chill down his spine.
