Lake

Is at the edge of the campus.Connected to forest.Which hasn't been added onto school property yet.Please don't go off in woods alone.

Shadow walked into the forest well aware of what he was getting himself into, he walked to his hiding place grabbing his main sword and walked toward the lake. He sat down placing his hands in the water and beginning to make a ice shard, he was careful to not make it too big but the perfect shape and size to begin making a sword. Making new weapons was more a passion than just his job, he finish the ice shard holding it up before taking out a dagger from below his trench coat starting to shave at the ice.

Isabelle stopped at the edge of the lake and stood with her hands on her knees as she tried to catch her breath. She looked around to see if maybe Nick had came here. The lake seemed like a peaceful place to try and get your thoughts together. As she caught her breath she sat down, removed her socks and shoes, rolled up her jeans and sat with her feet in the water. The water felt nice on her overly warm skin. She ran her hands through her long orange hair tugging slightly as she did. She was also highly embarrassed by her outburst.

Nick was in the tree looking down on the lake, he watched the girl he almost fed upon walk up. Why did she follow him? he wondered as he just lay in the tree, he watched as she took off her shoes to put her feet in the water. The water to the lake was cool, he cleaned himself to make sure there was no blood left behind. As he craned his neck to get a better look at her hair, man she was something he never seen before. As he reached too far he fell out of the tree, landing on his back with a grunt "Oww" he moaned.

Isabelle hadn't seen Nick hiding up in the tree but when he fell out of it with a thud and an oww she got up and rushed over to him. She tucked her long orange hair behind her ear with one hand and reached out to Nick with the other. "Do you require aid to stand up???" She asked in a soft voice. She knew that he wasn't exactly safe but she didn't care because she wasn't either. She only hoped that he would let her help him up and wouldn't attack her.

Nick looked up as she came over, he was stuck for a moment just looking at her until he hidden his face. He stuck out his hand meeting hers, getting the help from her off the ground. "Thanks" he mumbled softly as he rubbed his back brushing the dirt from his clothes. "Stupid of me to climb a tree..." he chuckled but didn't make eye contact with her "Why did you follow me?" he asked.

When asked why she followed him Isabelle blushed scarlet and started twiddling with the end of her hair. "Well you ran away. . .I wanted to see if you were okay," she said awkwardly as she looked down at her feet. She found that she was.embarrassed by the fact that she even cared. She didn't know this boy and he certainly didn't know her. "And I wanted to apologize for my almost burning you," she whispered.

Nick made eye contact with her and held it "No its fine, if you didn't burn me I would have drank from you" he looked away "I can't control myself at times, its been months since I fed and I'm still getting use to this all."

"I don't want to hunt people or hurt them...but sometimes I go crazy when I don't feed, the pain is so bad I hate it" he sat down in the grass bringing his knees to his chest.

When Nick made eye contact and tried to hold it Isabella blinked her eyes and looked away. She couldn't hold eye contact with anyone. It made her nervous. When Nick sat on the ground with his knees to his chest, she sank awkwardly to her knees in front of him. "I can't control my fire," she offered in return to what Nick had told her. "Anyway I could help you???" She asked sweetly.

Nick noticed everything about her, his eyes didn't miss anything "No, well I mean I don't know...I don't think you can help me" he said as he ran his hand through his hair. "Its up to me to learn how to deal with this...my master was destroyed not long ago." Nick shook his head a bit "But enough of that talk, what do you hope to major here?" he asked as he picked at the grass below his palm.

Isabelle was shocked by the sudden change of topic. She was okay with him thinking she couldn't be of help to him. She could barely be of help to herself. "I hope to learn to control my fire," she said sounding suddenly determined. She reached up and tugged at her long orange hair as she stood up. "And you???" She asked sweetly.

"Ah well I want to learn more about the animals, the creatures that hold this place together and the wonders that hide behind the bushes" he smiled as he looked around. "I like coming to an area like this, its calming with the water so fresh and sparking along with the birds chirping. Nick looked down at his hand, he was getting tired, wanted a nap but didn't want to leave her alone. He stood slowly brushing off his pants with a soft sigh "Well I don't mean to run out on you but I think I should find my dorm room and get a nap until class, the sun is making me just a bit weak."

Isabelle listened intently as Nick spoke of what he wished to learn and of why he liked the lake. She noticed that he appeared to be tired and she appeared concerned. 'Go nap and feel better," she replied awkwardly. She pulled at her long orange hair again as she turned to walk away. Isabelle seemed to be almost constantly tugging at her hair. It was a nervous habit of hers.
