Fallen angel x Demoness
My idea for this one would be a reincarnation theme. The classic demon falls for an angel and vise versa. They're banished to earth and cursed. Every life they live together without fail ends in tragedy. Trapped in an endless battle of light and dark. My idea would be to have the curse start breaking, they start to remember past lives etc. And try to find a way to stop the cycle from continuing.

{This could be done with either character being gender interchangeable.} A long time ago, a queen gave birth to a child without a heart. In desperation she called upon her holy men, who told her the child was not meant to live. Refusing to accept the young heir's fate the queen sought the help of much darker forces. Calling upon a high class demon she pleaded for the life of the child. Finding amusement in the woman's desperation the Demon granted her wish. Pulling it's own heart from it's chest the Demon placed it within the child and spoke, "Your child will live, it will grow strong and prosperity will rein upon your kingdom. Alas, all great things come with a price. On this very day, 20 years from now, I will come back for my heart. And I will devour this child's body."

I have a sort of little red riding hood gender bender idea rattling around in my brain.
I haven't really fleshed it out but if it sounds interesting I'd love to brainstorm.
