OOPS, I did it again. LOL I forgot to post on Sunday but since I check this guild each day at least I caught my error before too much time elapsed. Anyway, yesterday was September 13th aka Grandparents day.
I noticed it on the calendar the day before and even though I have no living grandparents, my kids have one and he is my dad. So I had them call him.

I don't really have anyone to call myself... Also I don't think I would have noticed, since it wasn't on my calendar, and Sunday was Rosh Hashana anyway.
I noticed those too. I find it interesting how some calendars have some celebratory days and other calendars do not. I once wondered if they were biased in anyway but then realized that they were probably just being made for specific audiences so they would be more appealing to that audience. And with all the political correctness in existence these days, I would not want to be responsible for picking which celebrations to include on the calendar.
Anyway, Happy Tzom Gedaliah to all people of Israel and Day of Martyr Omar Al-Mokhtar to people of Libya and Independence Day to people of Mexico and Malaysia Day to people of Malaysia.
