How many moons had it been since she had last seen the father of her children? She couldn't remember. The whole situation had been..Odd. The saying of it only takes once was not a fib but...She wouldn't trade her children for the world. All four of them were wonderful, though Ristretto had stayed with her. The two had become traveling companions and, for Cherry, it was nice. The days weren't so lonely. "Where are we going Rissy?"
Ristretto smiled at her mother's question before trotting in front of her. "We're going this way! Or that way. Or maybe the other way?" The mare laughed. "I don't know, I was following you." This got Cherry to shake her head. "Who cares mom. We're going and that's that. What, you tired already?" Ristretto teased her mother lightly before fluttering her wings. "All that matters is I'm with you, right? It's an adventure mom!"

They had returned, Belle could hear them, she was not as strong as her siblings and they had gone a long time ago she knew not where. Belle had been left alone. She wanted to be strong but she'd been born much weaker. Her bones were frail and she had to be careful not to damage them. Belle wondered if her sister even realized where they were.
"Hello mother, sister Ristretto." Belle smiled in greeting as she approached her sister and mother delicately. Father had long gone with their other two siblings. She wondered briefly if he'd ever come back. "Have you two been well?" she asked. Rambunctious behaviour was a no no, she had to learn to constrain herself and being ladylike did just that. She did envy the rest of her siblings though. They could play and have fun as they liked. She wanted to be like that.
where had they gone this time? Belle had caught herself wondering. What had they seen? Maybe there would be a time to ask soon.
