The hall of Ice consist of a long and wide pool of freezing water, with a single stone bridge reaching from the east entrance, to the west entrance. The bridge has thick stone guard rails and the floor is decorated with Celtic markings, much like in the stone pathway in the inner garden. The center of the bridge is wider and holds a circular area with a Celtic cross that has a great pillar of ice right through the center. There are also four more great pillars of ice along each of the bridge's sides, nine ice pillars in total, the only source of light in the hall, is a pairs of crystal torches. Each torch is on the west or east wall, right between the entrances and the north and south walls. These four torches alone don't really provide much light, but the light is also amplified and focused through the ice pillars, illuminating the hall in a spectrum of kaleidoscopic colors.
Nobody knows how the pillars stay frozen, but the water below does not freeze. But it has been suspected that these two contradictive characteristics of the hall are maintained by some sort of spell that has been cast long ago.
There is a wide arched doorway, decorated with Celtic markings and some stairs on the east side of the bridge that lead up into the inner garden.
