Alexis had tried her hardest to get more sleep than usual, to make sure that everything was done and neat. When Nate was gone to work and the kids were asleep, Aly had settled with her mother the events of the weekend. Her mother was going to take them home with her around fiveish on Friday and Alexis would pick them up around noonish on Sunday. She had mixed feelings about sending the kids with her mother, almost every day she would change her mind from she wasn't going to do this, to it was planned and in motion. On Friday, she was getting ready to change her mind yet again while changing Luke's diaper, but her mother just hushed her now. Alexis blushed a bit when she was just quieted by her mother who basically laid down officially what was going to happen. Alexis was a bit embarrassed her mother had to do that, but she was relieved that everything was completely set. Aly had everything laid out by the time her mother had left. She practically packed up half of the boys' room to send off with her mother and endlessly kept thanking her for doing this. Alexis had taken the last hour before Nate would come home to get everything done, she had cooked dinner herself instead of her mother doing it, his favorite too. She was dressed cuter than usual too. The past couple of weeks or so, she's chosen more loose shirts and sweats since the babies weren't exactly the cleanest infants in the world and she would wear her hair up in a bun or ponytail. Now, her red hair was done and she was wearing a dress. Alexis still felt a bit insecure about her body, however and had chosen a looser fitting one. She was currently brewing him coffee in case he was tired though she had made extra hot chocolate for him in case he wanted some. That's what she was drinking currently anyway. She knew dinner would be ready a little later after he came home, but at least the drinks would be done. Alexis looked over when she heard the door open, and a smile appeared on her face as she walked over to him, wrapping her arms around him and kissing him deeply "Welcome home sweetheart" she told him, there was not a peep around the house except for the music she was playing in the kitchen which was pretty loud. It was obvious she wasn't worried about waking the twins up, he just didn't know they weren't even here.

It was weird to walk into the house and hear music quite loud. Was something going on? Nate was a bit too tired to worry about it, but he was very confused. When Alexis walked over to him and received him with such a deep kiss while dressed... well, dressed like this... something was definitely up. Of course he kissed her back, no questions asked on that, but as soon as that was done, he went to his first question. "Honey,... why is music at full blast? Are the twins awake?" he asked clearly worried for the babies. It was a real difficult talk to get the to sleep, he was surprised that Aly would be playing music this loud if they were sleeping.

Looking around the kitchen, Nate did notice a couple of things looked a bit more suspicious than what he had initially noticed. "Coffee ready, I think I can smell my favorite food in the making, music playing loudly, no mother-in-law, and my wife is quite dressed up today... What is going on, Aly?" Everytime he got suspicious of something the man tended to raise an eyebrow and stare at his wife straight at her eyes with his arms wrapped around her waist. He would keep that position until she would speak to him the truth. Well, or at least until it was something hinting to what was going on. "Don't take me wrong, I'm not complaining, but I am utterly confused." he admitted.

She shook her head slowly at his question, a small smile on her face "They were asleep the last time I checked" before they had left with her mother, both of the twins had been put to bed even before they had gotten into the car which made loading it a whole lot easier. She nodded her head to everything they listed as if clarifying it before she leaned up and gave him a light peck on the lips again "Well, after last weekend, the fact we never really get alone time anymore without the twins interrupting us made me really think" she started to say, her hands slowly running down his arms as she looked down for a moment "And my mom has been wanting to take them for a few days anyway so I thought that this weekend would be perfect" she spoke, an amused smile on her face "I'm going to pick them up Sunday at almost noon just so she has time to show them off to practically everyone in the neighborhood" she wasn't too worried about the twins being introduced to those people. It'll only be people that were in the neighborhood who have known her parents for a long time and she knew her mother was smart enough not to allow anyone who was sick near them. Plus, the boys would eat up the attention. Matthew was a little ham who loved to be in the center of things, and Luke could be shy for a little bit but will warm up eventually. "But until then, it'ls just going to be the two of us all alone in the house" she had definitely tried to make everything perfect tonight. She pushed back a piece of her hair "So I made your favorite and thought we could watch a few movies without any interruptions for once and then we could actually sleep in a bit without any crying" she played with the fabric of his shirt "Of course, we could do other things like I could show you some of the new things I bought. I don't know if you would like it, they're only headbands, a dress, lingerie. Nothing big" she casually swept over the fact she had bought lingerie just for this weekend, something that had caused her to blush. She had bought it while she went to the store for more socks for the boys. Her mother watched them for the hour she was gone and when she had gone through the women's section, she had found new undergarments she thought Nate might like to see. She smirked a bit as she looked up to him momentarily before slipping away "But that's for later, do you want coffee?" she asked, heading into the kitchen.

"Whoa... I-I'm... are you sure about this? It's an entire weekend. Are you sure your parents are fine with this too?" Nate was worried that something might happened to the kids, that Aly's parents were a bit too old to be dealing with babies crying at night, and also feeling a little strange about not having his sons at home. It would be a so very strange feeling. However, if Aly was alright with this then so should he. Any further questioning would probably lead to Aly questioning the decision and probably mean getting back the children. "Mmm... I really like the idea. Especially that lingerie one." he said with a smirk, kissing her neck around softly. His grin grew wider when she slipped away from his grasp. Nathaniel could feel the playfulness inside Aly. Surely he was enjoying this. "I feel like you're making me wait forever for this.... Just maybe I'm digging this." he teased back. He walked into the kitchen, following after her more than anything although he was interested in his coffee.

He could tell that Aly had really planned this out. Everything seemed just so organized. It always took him by surprise when Aly did this little things, but he loved them. It was one of her many charms that made him love her even more.

Alexis nodded her head to his question, a smile on her face "Goodness yes, my mother has been wanting to take the boys and show them off for weeks now, I already talked to my dad about it too and he was happy about watching the boys as well" whether her parents were okay with this or just didn't want to be a bother had been her constant worry though she had eventually believed it that afternoon when her mother simply took charge and made her agree to it. She giggled a bit at his comment "I thought you would.." she murmured softly, glad she had decided to buy it. The woman, although covering it up, was about two are you sure's away from going to pick up the boys since she was still hesitant about the whole idea. She had not been apart from the boys for more than a few hours, at most in the past couple of months. She headed into the kitchen and took out two cups, pouring him a coffee and fixing it just like how he liked it. That had been one of her very first prioities when she had first moved in with him, she wanted to get everything right for him so the first month or so whenever they ate common things she would watch his habits or simply ask him small little things about it without trying to make it as obvious as possible what she was doing. Aly passed him his coffee as soon as he walked in, a smirk on her face "Just maybe I am. What do you want to do Mr. Steinmetz?" she asked him, playing rather innocently since she ahd a very good idea of what they would do almost immediately after dinner. "Do you want to sit at the dinner table or do you want to eat on the couch?" she asked, if they sat on the couch they would be able to watch television and any of their favorite movies/tv shows to binge watch again.

Nate laughed a bit, forgetting completely about his worries from work. Aly had some magic in her that always managed to do this, except when they were having both affairs. He continued watching her walk around the kitchen while he leaned against the wall, arms crossed over his chest and a smirk continued to appear on his lips. "Maybe we could eat on the couch and later we could eat on the bed." At first, his comment sounded innocent but it truly wasn't and he was sure Aly would catch up on that. "Do you need help with anything?" He asked seriously this time. He couldn't be joking and making innuendos all the time. The man wanted to be helpful in something. If Aly had gone through all the trouble to prepare this for him, then he should do something for her too. "We are definitely taking a bath int he bathtub later too. We have all those salts and bath bombs that we haven't used yet. Even have some nice wine and relax." he suggested, already getting very excited with just the thought of it.

The man walked over the living room and began setting up Netflix. He prepared it so they would only have to press play when they were ready. Aly and him used to watch many shows and movies together but ever since the twins were born it was just impossible to do it. Sometimes Nate wondered if it would be the same if they ever had another child, but it was way too soon yet to think about that.

Alexis nodded her head to his idea, not quite paying too much attention to it in detail "Did you want me to make dessert? I think we have some whipped cream and ice cr-....oh" a ferocious blush spread across her face as she looked up to her husband who had that deviant little smirk on his face. She was a bit embarrassed for not understanding what he was saying earlier though she had gotten it pretty soon afterwards. How did she end up with such a perverted husband?...then again...she was the one who had brand new lingerie tucked away in her room to wear later. Aly pointed towards the cupboards with the plates before picking up the mittens and headed to the oven. She opened it and slowly took out the food before setting it on top of the stove "Just when it cools down, can you serve it please? Did you want anything else to drink?" she asked, slipping off the gloves before moving to the fridge. She stopped for a moment at his suggestion, a smile appeared on her face as she closed the fridge, walking over to him and leaning up to give him a kiss on his lips, holding onto his shirt a bit as she leaned up to whisper in his ear "We?" she repeated that little word she had heard him say though the idea was certainly entertaining. It was even better to see that he was getting into this as much as she had. Taking a long bath had been on the list of things she had missed, it was even one of the little things she had told him during their fight just a week ago that she really wanted to do. She wondered if he had remembered, or just thought him plus her plus bubbles/water equaled a lot of fun and mischief. She grabbed herself a water since she didn't think she would enjoy drinking the hot chocolate with dinner, maybe she'll just save the drink for later after she had eaten and heat it up again then. She was setting their drinks at the table in the kitchen when she noticed what he was doing. Aly couldn't help the little giggle that escaped her lips "Sorry, it's just that it feels like a really long time since i've seen that screen" she told him, referring to the red. She hadn't had enough time to sit down and watch a television show or movie without being interrupted by her sons. It was a strange thought to think that when they had first moved here, that had practically became a nightly ritual while she was pregnant. There wasn't much else she wanted to do but lay/sit down with Nate with his arm or hand somehow touching/holding onto her while eating dinner or a snack.

Nathaniel was more mischievous than ever, but it was just the excitement that was getting to him. "Whipped cream? Sure." he told her with a wink. Of course he was kidding about that but he did love to tease his sometimes too good wife. Ever since they were kids they teased each other so now that they were grown up and married made no difference. He loved the kiss she gave him. It made him keep wishing for more.

Given her instructions about the food, Nate followed them and did as she instructed him. The food looked and smelled just so good. God, how did he get so lucky with such a wonderful and beautiful wife? Anyways, he finally served the food once it cooled down and took the plates to the living room and set them on the coffee table. "I really love seeing you happy like this, you know? I love you, my Aly." Nathaniel pulled his wife into a deep kiss for a couple of moments before letting go of her and only because his stomach had started growling. He did blush a bit embarrassed. "Let us eat." he smiled, taking her hand and sitting on the couch. It felt like a date if anything. Just the two of them, watching a movie, sitting on the couch, and Nate's hand around Alexis's shoulders. Surely brought back some good memories. Especially from high school.

Alexis blushed when he actually agreed to the whipped cream. Goodness, she had been the one who wanted to make him wait, but at this rate, he was going to make her want to skip dinner. She wrapped her arms around him momentarily as she listened to him "I love you too" she said softly before sitting down, a smile appeared on her face as she started to think before she even began to eat "You know, I don't really have any nicknames for you" she brought up. She was his Alycat, but he was always Nate to her, Nathaniel on the chance she was actually mad at him for whatever reason. She called him love or baby, but that was what any/every boyfriend was referred to as by their spouse. "So I'm thinking of new ones for you now" she explained to him, wondering what would be right. A small smile appeared on her face as she leaned up to whisper in his ear "Maybe tiger? Tigers are strong and confident, also very determined and leading" definitely Nate was the one she always leaned on for support whenever she needed it, she just hoped he liked it "Plus, you're certainly the wild one out of us" she told him, not helping the small laugh that came from her since she was certainly amused. It did make sense though to her, if she was the cat then he had to be a tiger or maybe a lion. She just chose tiger since her brief knowledge of male lions was that they were very lazy and the girl ones did all the work, she definitely didn't want him to think she was saying something bad about him if she called him lion. Plus, it didn't sound as cute/cool as tiger. "What do you think?" she asked, she figured that if this was what she would be calling them at least in private then he should have a say in what it is.

"Tiger? Hmm... It will take time to get used to it, but for you I'll be anything." Normally he would wink at her after saying that but he was too busy already getting his fork full of food to get a mouthful. The guy was really hungry and he had always loved the way Aly made his favorite food. Right after taking a full bite of the food, Nate pressed play on the remote control. Seriously it felt like ages since they had last seen any t.v. show they liked! This was just going to end up being such a great weekend. Nathaniel didn't really want to tell Aly, but halfway through the meal he was already feeling really sleepy. However, he didn't want to tell her and ruin all the effort she had put for today. She was more than likely tired too but was making this sacrifice for him. He would be such an awful husband if he just turned all this down just so he could sleep. Most of his energy was also being drained by his constant attempts to prevent himself from yawning.

Already done eating, Nathaniel knew what he wanted next, disregarding sleeping of course. Mischievously smiling, he took stood up and picked up his wife without consent. He was carrying her bridal style. He didn't even care that they didn't pause or turn off the movie or television. Going up to their room, he carefully but playfully let her fall on the bed. "I'm not really sorry for just taking you out of the living room, but if there's one thing I've been craving for two months it's you... My hand can only do so much." It was embarrassing to say that but it was true nonetheless. Of course, if Aly didn't want this right now, Nathaniel would respect her decision and not attempt anything. With Aly on the bed, the male quickly removed his shirt and hovered over his wife, burying his face on her neck as he showered her with tender kisses all over. However, the man wasn't accounting for how tired he really was. It was as if he was consuming more energy than he really possessed or could produce at the moment.

Alexis smiled a bit when he agreed with it, a part of her wanted to tease him more about the new nickname, but she hadn't had time to think about what to say since they were already eating. By then, she already didn't care as she ate with him. She cuddled close to him as she ate her food, finishing it just a bit quicker than his as she set it on the table in front. She focused her attention on the television though she was a bit tired. This was something that was the norm now that she had the boys, but she had been able to get more sleep than usual last night since the boys actually slept longer than usual. She gasped softly when he picked her up before she began to laugh. She held onto him when he carried her, looking up to Nate as she leaned up to give him a light kiss on the cheek. She sat up for a moment as she looked up at him, blushing a bit though she was definitely ready. She laughed a bit as she laid back, wrapping her arms around him as she smiled. She shivered when he kissed her neck as she moaned softly "Nate~...Nate?" she said his name softly as she looked at her husband. His breathing was calm and even, he wasn't moving, his eyes were closed....had he fallen asleep? A small smile appeared on her face, just like whenever Luke or Matthew fell asleep in her arms. Her husband was handsome, definitely, but something she forgot about was how adorable he could be too. She easily slipped from under him as she pushed his hair back gently. She slipped from the bed as she headed downstairs to quickly clean up, she hadn't expected the night to end up with her changing from the lingerie and dress to one of Nate's bigger shirts that Aly had taken as her own for pajama use. She let out a small yawn, one that she had been suppressing. She wasn't that sad or angry over the fact that instead of sleeping with Nate, she would just be sleeping with him, it just showed her exactly how much Nate really needed a night without either of the boys waking him up. She turned off the lights after closing the curtains and making sure Nate's alarms were off just for tomorrow so he could sleep in. Aly slipped into bed with him quietly, laying down next to him as she studied his sleeping face, she smiled a bit as she gave him a kiss on his forehead "goodnight tiger" she said softly, she wasn't going to wake him up just for sex, he really did need his sleep. Plus, they would have all tomorrow and the morning of Sunday to make up for this one night. Hopefully, when the boys were on a better sleep schedule, they wouldn't have to have weekends like this just to have sex, though definitely it had had a really nice start. She finally fell asleep next to Nate fairly quickly, she was tired just like Nate.

If anything was getting on, it surely didn't happen. Nathan's mind said 'yes', but his body said 'no' which resulted in him falling asleep. It was all good though since more than likely when he would wake up he would be full of energy, given they finally get a full good night's sleep tonight. All night long he slept without a single interruption. God how long had it been since this last happened? Either way, as he slept he wrapped his arm around his wife, cuddling while they slept. it was such a wonderful night.

The next morning, Nathan woke up around 9ish a.m. It was relatively a late time to wake up, but it was fine since he and Aly deserved to sleep in even if it was just a bit. It was strange not hearing his alarms going off in the morning so he figured Aly must've turned them all off. He also figured that he must've fallen asleep before he could try anything on his wife. Wow... How embarrassing.... he thought sighing and running a hand through his hair to move it out of his face. It was poking his eyes and surely it was getting somewhat vexing. A smile appeared on his face when he turned over to look at his sleeping wife. She always looked so calmed when she slept and it made him really happy to see her resting. She had really been working herself too much with the twins. Maybe if he made her breakfast and brought it to bed she would be even happier. It would be a nice surprise, but... he his selfish self wanted to wake up his wife and be a little... playful with her. Normally he wouldn't do it, but this weekend was supposed to be for themselves so he figured, why not? Smirking but then turning that same smirk into a loving smile, the blond male moved some hair out of his wife's face and then softly caressed her cheek. For a moment he admired his wife's beauty, even when she slept. He remembered how back in high school she had a long list of admirers. Honestly, his jealousy over that was part of what made him want to confess to her immediately back then. Plus the fact that he really liked Aly even since then. One time he even got into a fight over Aly back in high school, but he never really told her. When she had found out he had fought, he lied about the reasons as to why he had gotten into a fight.

Anyways, Nate then also leaned in a little closer to his wife and kissed her cheek. Then an idea popped into his mind. Why not wake her up with kisses? It should be fun, right? His lips then moved to her neck area, trying to wake her up by kissing her in her soft spots, but the man also kissed her on the cheek and lips. He was sure she would be waking up in no time with this.

Aly slept very well next to Nate, she would be glad in the morning that she had turned off her alarm since it was only more time she actually slept with him. She couldn't think of a time since the twins have been born that they have been able to sleep in like this without one of them having to get up before the other because of the boys. She dreamt of their family. Luckily, her little worries about the boys being at her parents' hadn't slipped into her dreams so she had a very peaceful night. She was very much sleeping in today since Nate's alarms were off and there were no crying to wake her up from her slumber. She moved over so slightly when she felt some kind of very light pressure that would grace her skin in different places. She slowly began to move more, her mind was working though she still had yet to open her eyes as she thought about what was happening. She smiled a bit as she realized that Nate had woken up before her and decided to wake her up as well. She shuddered when he kissed her neck though she waited until his lips were back on her before she wrapped her arms around him and kissed him back just as deeply. She smiled as she broke the kiss as she did one very quick move of changing their position. She was now straddling him as she leaned down and began to shower him in kisses all across the same areas he had kissed her more or less. She ended with a kiss on the nose as she smiled, being just as mischievous as he had been this morning "Good morning" she told him, smiling. She was already fully awake by then, she didn't move from being on top of him "Did you sleep well last night?" she asked, deciding to tease him a bit over what had happened last night since he had been exhausted though there was no kind of anger or annoyance in her tone over what had happened, just playfulness.

Nathaniel was turning into a really happy man right now,... in all sorts of ways. He even blushed because of it. Honestly he didn't expect it to happen that fast or so early in the morning. Aly surely had a way to turn him on even with the simplest of things. Since she was always a good girl, it always made him interested seeing her being a little naughty or playful. "Mmm...not entirely." he said with a naughty grin of his own as he answered that. His hands rested on her back and played with her shirt. "I woke up worried that I left some unfinished business last night. I thought maybe you could.... help me finish it...?" His lips moved to her earlobe where he began to nibble on it. If Alexis wanted to be playful then so would he.

Subconsciously he was waiting for some sort of baby cry to be heard in the background. He was really used to the twins interrupting them whenever they were about to get intimate or just do something together. However, this was not the case this time. He did moan a little to help her get deeper into the mood in case she wasn't that much into it yet. He also figured that maybe they could go for breakfast somewhere after they played a little. Maybe even just enjoy a date again today as if they were childless. Just for today of course. He knew that by tomorrow he would be missing the twins already a great lot.
