"Hey, Lighting rod! You might want to high tail it to some shelter before you become just that..! " A arrogant young man's voice yelled out, causing Lissa to turn toward him.

"What...?! T-That's the last time someone makes a joke about my ....--" But before she could finish, a sudden explosion of thunder felt as if it had shook the place entirely. Lissa's scream was barely audible with the crashing thunder that scared the life out of her. Where did this storm even come from?! Talk about unpredictable sneak up storms! Then again...They were living near the coast. Sneak attack storms were common.

Looking up, she would see the dark looming clouds over-head the city, and the more she looked, she would notice the smaller shacks in the district were closing shop, covering their items to protect them from the rain that would soon follow.. "...Oh, come onnnnnnnnnnnnnn....I JUST left the house...Go away, you lousy storm..! " With that said, another crash came, as if it were becoming angry at her yelling at it! Yeah, a living storm was about right for this world...She almost didn't doubt it. "Oh, scary! You aren't scaring me away!" Yes, Lissa was now yelling at the storm, as if it were really alive and mocking her.

"Wow, she really is going to get struck.." The young man from before said to himself, laughing some..

"Talking to a storm that's a bit weird" the figure called out standing on air and looking at the girl. "You should get inside princess" he said with a bit of sarcasm. He remained in the air not bothered by the storm.

Oh, another sarcastic presence. Lissa had some kind of luck today with people teasing her, maybe she should get a new outfit, this one always did get a few remarks. Some of the more entertaining ones were, about her catching guys in the 'cage'. Yeah, poor Lissa.Turning to the man, or rather, where she thought he was, it took a moment to realize he was actually...floating in the air? What? Then, his next words came, she didn't seem to realize that was just added sarcasm. "Princess? How did you know that? ........Are you stalking me?! " As far as she knew, she had no idea who this guy was, he was dressed rather strange, and she found herself a little creeped out by the strange skeletal mask at the side of his face.

Grimmjow floated down till his feet touched the ground. "I did not know that till you just said you were. As for following you seem delicate and wondering alone is not the smartest idea" he said.

"Whaaa..." Lissa blinked at him, confused. Why did he say that then? -- Then it hit her, causing the blond princess to give the stranger a slight glare! "Oh, har-har! So funny! Hmph! "Crossing her arms, it seemed for the time being, Lissa had forgotten about the storm, until the crashing of thunder brought it back to her attention, causing her to jump. Really, she wanted to go hide away to safety away from the scary thunder, but right now....She had to brave it out! To prove to the first young man that began teasing her that she wasn't afraid, even though she was. During the times Chrom and her party had camped out in the middle of no where, at least when storms popped up then, she had her brother to seek comfort from, as if he would protect her from lightning! Now, however, was a different story. She had no one to really go to for any form of comfort, as they were all busy with their own lives and families. All she had was herself, and her many attempts to prove she wasn't so delicate as everyone seemed to think.

And so did this stranger, apparently."Oh, gods...You sound like my brother...F-For the last time! I am -not- delicate!! "

Turning away from the man, she cast her eyes to the clouds above. "Hmph...I will prove it...! " Lowering her gaze now, she turned back to him for a moment. "This is a city..There's no dangers here but outside of it, and in the cave.." Well, unless someone decided to attack the city, then it was pretty safe. The only real threat right now was the storm!

Grimmjow shook his head and smiled. "You are either a fool or brave I suppose will find out" he said. "I will accompany you just encase you need help. After all how will I know you brave the storm" he said.

"..Um, if you don't mind....I'd really rather just go alone. I'm fine..I'm not a little girl in need of a protector. I've been through a lot, I can handle anything that comes my way.." She said to him, turning around a moment to put up a hand, in hopes of stopping him in his tracks."I don't know enough people in this world to trust just anyone...So...If you will please, don't follow me? " She didn't want to be mean, she was only being cautious of her life. There were to many enemies out here, to many she didn't know WERE enemies, it wasn't worth risking.

"Anyway, it looks like this storm is going away before even a drop hits. Thank you for your concern, but i'm okay! Um, so...I'm going to go....Bye!" Turning away from him now, Lissa quickly hurried off...Disappearing into the sea of people..

Grimmjow shook his head as the girl left. "What a strange women she should at least get to know someone before acting rash" he thought as he disappeared into the crowed.

It was surprisingly quiet in the usually busy market district, it was getting later, so not everyone was out shopping. Some shops had even closed down for the day, wanting to spend the rest of the evening with their families. One shop in particular, a larger and tall building,was lucky to have been closed however, as something of a massive dragon came spiraling out of the sky! Her fall wasn't straight down, but slightly sideways, as she had tried to move her path in those last moments to fall in a clearing, unfortunately, that didn't happen and several smaller buildings along with the larger shop were completely destroyed as she came falling and crashing into them.

With the destruction, came a few explosions followed seconds after as objects began to catch fire, and mix with flammable substances. So, the next big question would be, what caused such a strong and powerful dragon to come crashing from the sky? What was hovering above the dragon a good ways up. Several more helicopters and smaller airships began to show up, dropping lines down as many armed men began to drop from them. By the looks of it, anyone would believe they were ShinRa, instead, they were previous infantrymen and first class Soldiers who were forced to join Ryosuke and Hojo.

"AHHH?!? " Lissa, who had been one of those late-night-shoppers due to nothing more to do, was in one of the buildings next to one of those destroyed, just close enough that the wall closest to the destroyed building had broken up, causing a massive crack to reach across the entire store, but no further devastating damage was done. It was enough to make Lissa run out of there, though.When she did, what she would see caused an even more feared reaction of the young princess. Tiki on the ground,she appeared to be pretty injured, as if she had been battling these people a lot longer then even she could handle, hence why she was so greatly weakened at this point. "T-Tiki?!? " Lissa rushed over to her, immediately casting multiple healing magic on the dragon. But what she didn't see was the armed men as they finally landed, not all had gone for Tiki, or even Lissa, a lot of them had scattered to comb through the city for further 'special' beings. They were getting tired of waiting them out, it seemed. Hojo and Ryosuke were hardly patient.


Lissa suddenly felt an arm clamp down onto her shoulder, and as she turned around she would find herself face-to-face with one of those soldiers. She said nothing, her instincts had done the action for her. Before she realized it even, the end of her staff slammed into his gut, making the man stumble back. As he did, she noticed something on the ground, actually, a lot of somethings' on the ground. Weapons of all kinds. One of those shops must have been a weapon shop by the looks of it. Scooping down, the blond princess took hold of a larger axe, attempting to hold it as threateningly as she could..."Don't come any closer...! "

Earlier that day, the new comers of this world had arrived, Marvel was such a giant city, it stood out from a good distance when you were high in the air, as she was much earlier. With her new friend Henry on the dragon's back. When they did arrive at the city however, she had asked if he wanted to stay together or explore the city to look for his family, while she did the same on her own. She even mentioned a good meeting spot of the most stand out area of the city, the massive fountain. So, had they split ways they both knew that would be the meeting spot a little later.

And now, her search was ruined by the sound of battle a distance into another location of the city.

From there, Kanna took to the skies as she shifted back into her own dragon form. As she grew closer, she would see first the helicopter hovering above lowering many dangerous men, the same men who attacked her...below, and by the looks of it, they were attacking .....another dragon?! Could this be one of the dragon's Henry had mentioned to her? Whatever the case, this was not going to continue. And she had the upper advantage, unscene from below, the dragon flew upward at an incredible speed coming up directly below that very chopper, and with a harsh whip of her tail, the helicopter was sent flying out of the city limits! The men and all. Well, who ever was still holding onto those ropes...

At this time, the smaller airships began to open fire. Until incredibly, she began to notice those ships fit with something of a magic spell, a strong wind spell? She wasn't sure, whatever it was, it sent them out of course, and also out of the boarders of the city.The more she went after, the more she realized more were joining in from below, fighting the soldiers and airships off! Team work at it's finest, it seemed.....

Two men that were oh-just a little to close to each other, would find them selves both speared by Severa's blade. After slamming into one, she rammed that one into the other, along with her blade. Needless to say, they were going to die if they weren't already. Kicking the pair off, the crimson haired warrior spun on her heel, cleaving through another who was coming up behind her..! "Ha! You really think I would be so easy to strike?! Give me a challenge, scum.." Severa seemed to be enjoying this a little to much. Now, she wasn't one for killing, but anyone who harmed her friends? They didn't tend to live. At this point, they had everything of a perfect battle, one from the skies, long range magic casters (Morgan) and close combat. It didn't look like these ShinRa scumbags were going to win this...As more allies continued to show.

Kanna wasn't the only one in the sky however, as a winged horse arose to the battle in the skies. Only she wasn't going after the airships, there was nothing she could do on a horse while the men flying the strange machines were safe inside.She was going after the flying, hideous monsters that were now beginning to storm the city! They were massive, big enough to pick up a full grown man, their claws deadly and teeth even more frightening. Ryosuke and Hojo had cooked up something quite terrifying in all the time they were in hiding, didn't they? The creatures flew into the city, not only just where those fighting were, but past them, pouring into each district and what once were safe zones to all of the city. This was no joke, the citizens of the city were in danger more so then they realized..

One of those beastly creatures was flying directly for Sumia, as was her horse. Like a jousting knight, the second she was close enough to the creature her lance trusted forward, right into the chest of the creature.Now, while it was impaled on her lance, it was only alive for seconds more,unfortunately in those few seconds it had managed to claw at both the pegasus knight and her steed until it had stopped moving, and slid off to fall to it's new grave. There was...so many left, how could they stop all of them?! "E-Everyone..! Above you! " She shouted, hoping to warn them about the on-coming creatures before they got to them first..

Grimmjow heard the crash and made his way over to the source using sondo. When he got there from his vantage point standing above the shops he saw a dragon a bunch of warriors and soldiers. "Well this is getting interesting" he said to himself. When he heard someone say look out above you to the ones below he turned and saw a creatures. Smiling he used sondo and appeared in the path of the creatures. "This looks like fun" he said as he fired a cero taking a few down. "What a shame I thought they be stronger" he said walking on the air toward another creature.

Marth

"I am a prince before I am a son or brother."



Rushing forward, in Lissa's defense, was the man who had been fighting against Chrom in the arena not long ago, Marth. He ran with great speed, cutting through the soldier's midsection, killing him. Turning, he spoke. "Retreat to safety if you cannot fight! I will protect your wounded ally." He said, referring to... Tiki. "A Manakete..." He said to himself. How powerful must their foes be if they could do such damage to such a creature?
The Hero-King had to cut his reunion with Zelda short in favor of defending the town. He had given her the option to follow her, then rushed off to the Market District where the brunt of the attack was focused.
Another figure would come rushing past Sumia then, brandishing a Brave Axe as he cleaved through several monsters, with unbelievable strength. He rode a wyvern, and wore a black mask that covered his eyes. "So, the Shepherds are here..." He noted. "Minerva, come. Let us dispose of these beasts..." He said to his wyvern, who took him further into the fray of monsters. He wondered if his mother was in this foreign world as well? ...He hoped, but he would never admit it.
Meanwhile, another swordsman entered the battle on the ground, who seemed to have been with the Wyvern Lord. He brandished a Killing Edge, "The time of your death is now..." He said to a group of soldiers, who also had swords. He got into fighting stance, and the group all attacked him. He immediately stabbed one, ripping his blade from his gut and cutting through another, leaving two. One slashed at him, which he easily parried, leaping up and bringing his blade down through him. He only looked at the last one, who paused a moment, clearly afraid. Lon'qu only stepped toward him, causing him to drop his sword and run. "...Fools." He said, turning now to continue the battle elsewhere...
