Beep. Beep. Beep! A hand snuck out from under the lump that the covers were currently molded as to smack down on the blasted contraption. Sayuki wasn't one for alarm clocks, never had been. She had the philosophy that she would wake when she was good and ready to do so...or so she told herself. Even still, she found herself waking to an alarm on the weekend just so she didn't sleep in too late and get used to doing so and therefore end up not waking up for class on the week days. Oh what she would kill to be able to sleep in and ignore the fact that there was school again in a couple days. It was Saturday, and she should be able to sleep in! Sayuki gave a huff and curled up more under the covers, having talked herself into sleeping longer. That was until her stomach let out a load growl that had her cursing softly. Now that her stomach was awake there would be no sleeping.
It was with this realization that Sayuki groaned and pushed the covers off, almost immediately wanted to yank them back on at the sudden cold blast of air. She looked around and noticed that it seemed her roommate was already gone. Good, that meant getting ready as 'Yuki' would be easier and quicker with less hastle. Still frowning at having to leave the nice warmth of her bed, she begrudgingly got out of the bed and made her way into the bathroom to take a quick shower to finish waking herself up. After that was done she slipped a towel around herself before peaking out the bathroom door to make sure Kage definitely wasn't there before she darted out and quickly located some clothes to dress as fast as she could. He may not be there, but she had learned her roommate had a way of moving very quietly. She didn't need him sneaking up on her and ruining her secret. It seemed that the general student and teacher body had come to accept her as her twin, Yuki, or at least were nice enough to go along with it if they did figure out the truth, and she didn't want to exactly go spoiling that willingly. If the wrong people in the school found out Sayuki was afraid she would get kicked from the school. At that point, where did she have to go? She couldn't return home by any means. Not even really fearing for ehr own life, she just couldn't go back to the people who had so blindly killed her brother when they thought it was her.
The thought made her frown as she finished getting ready, deciding to ditch the chain for her lip ring and just settling on a simple hoop. She was still getting used to the mass amounts of piercings Yuki had and the chain annoyed her if it got caught on anything like when she went to brush her hair out of her eyes or something. After looking over her reflection in the bathroom mirror she nodded before pocketing her dorm room keys and starting out to head to the cafeteria. She was worried if she denied her stomach any longer it might jump out to eat her on its own. As she peered out the door of her dorm room she sighed in relief. Either people were still waking up or already off to wherever they wanted to be on a Saturday morning. That gave her a little more time as she walked alone to get into the mindset of Yuki before she arrived at the cafeteria.
The walk had been quiet, like she had predicted, and as she arrived at the cafeteria she glanced around at the few people starting to gather for breakfast before making her way over to pick up food of her own. This morning she was a bit hungry so instead of just her usual egg on toast she threw in some bacon and cheese as well as grabbed an orange to go along with her usual orange juice. Happy with her choice, she took it over to an empty table and began the process of digging into the food. Thankfully none of the other Host Club members seemed to be up yet, probably too busy getting their 'beauty sleep' she scoffed mentally, so that meant she could sit wherever she wanted. Hopefully this morning would go relatively uneventful so she could eat then head out to the mall and poke around for some random items.

Sayuki was sitting quietly and minding her own business for breakfast. A few people passed here and there she knew and she waved in greeting if they happened to glance her way, but otherwise made no move to actually join the herd of people beginning to wake up and file into the cafeteria. It was her day off for all she cared and that meant she didn't have to be as cheerful and charming as usual. Host Club...the thought make her want to scoff into her orange juice at the thought of her brother in her place at the academy as a member of the Host Club. Honestly, it fit him. He loved attention and loved flirting with girls and holding their hearts in the palms of his hand. She shouldn't have been surprised to learn her brother had taken a spot among the club. Still, it made for more energy use then she had initially planned when school was in session. She had been more then content to just slip by anyone's radar and get through the year before figuring out where to go from there.
Her thoughts were torn away from her musings as she heard someone's footsteps approach her table and she let out a small sigh before she even looked up at the boy that had walked up to the table. Her brighter red eyes met his darker red ones and she rose an eyebrow at first as she stared at the smile that she figured was meant to be charming. Given to her while school was in session would have been the beginnings for a lengthy conversation at which she would have to be charming in reply to uphold her club's expectations. However, for Sayuki on a Saturday morning he was merely interrupting her quiet breakfast and that didn't bring a charming smile on her face in reply as she shrugged and motioned to the seat she was sure the boy would take regardless of her answer. She then turned to finish the last couple bites of her breakfast before she moved to get up and leave the table. The boy had asked if anyone was sitting there, not to actually eat breakfast together.
"See ya." It was the only thing she said as she made her way over to place her dirty dishes where they went. "Hey, Yuki!" Sayuki looked up to see one of the lunch ladies trying to get her attention and laughed as an orange was tossed her way. "Take it for the road. See you later, sweetie." Sayuki gave a genuine smile as she caught the orange and nodded. "Thank you." The older lady really did seem to enjoy her job and interacting with the students. Already only a short period into the year she knew Sayuki loved oranges and usually sent her along with an extra one to go. The gesture always made Sayuki smile, even if to everyone else she was being a grump. The old lady really was just a sweetheart it was hard to not smile kindly and want to hug her like she was your grandmother.
Sayuki turned from the lady and took one glance back at the unknown boy to see if he was bothered by her leaving before she shrugged, realizing she probably didn't need to worry one way or the other. Instead she had to figure out what to do on the weekend. She had thought about going shopping later, maybe she should actually carry that plan through? Sayuki pondered as she began to walk out of the cafeteria without a third glance to the boy and pondered the direction she should take her day. If nothing else, she could always go sit under a tree and enjoy the sun with her orange. That didn't sound half bad either.
OutOfClaws || II am so sorry it is so late >_<......and, ouch; first brush off sting xD. Not where I originally thought the post was going to go, I will admit.

Decisions. Decisions. Sayuki couldn't settle on what she wanted to do and it was starting to annoy her. She didn't want to wander back to her dorm room on the weekend, she had enough interaction with her annoying roommate as it was during the week to not have to add the weekend to that count. That left her with either wandering the school grounds or leave the school grounds to go wander the mall for a few hours to kill time. Thinking it over, the later seemed a little better and would give her a break from the school that was usually just one big headache with her efforts to pass off for her twin brother. A nice break from that might be just what the doctor ordered.
With a rejuvenated feeling she made sure she had the essentials on her, wallet, dorm room key, and the like before she turned on her heels and started to head off the school grounds to head in the direction of the mall. The walk alone was nice and pleasant and she stopped part of the way to stare up through a tree's leaves and branches at the bright sun shining above. It really was what someone might describe as a 'perfect day'. The temperature was a little warm, but there was a cool breeze to accompany it as well as a bright blue sky above with an occasionally perfectly fluffy white cloud. It was almost a little surprising just how perfect the day seemed, but Sayuki hoped that meant it would go well. She could use a perfect day for once instead of one that always had a hidden card up the sleeve like she thought was trying to happen back in the cafeteria with that boy.
Still...those eyes. Something about her stuck in her mind and when she realized she was thinking about them while standing there she shook her head in frustration. Why did she care? The less she got close to people the better and the less headaches she got. In a way that was what made playing the role of a school Host so easy. She could give the other girls attention to make their hearts flutter to the clouds yet didn't have to actually get attached herself. She had wanted to strangle Yuki at first when she first learned of her 'role' in the school society, but it had proved more useful then she would have thought.
Still, it was nice to get away from the school and take a break from the facade. The chances of actually running into anyone from the school out in town was always likely, but much less likely then she figured and she was looking forward to letting her hair down for a little; figuratively speaking of course. She ran her fingers through her shortened length, feeling the ghost hair length it used to be and sighed. Her hair had grown out a little, maybe she should get a hair cut while in town too? As much as she missed her long hair, it would make passing off as a guy even harder so she would have to keep it short. First things first, though, Sayuki wanted to just wander around the town a bit till something caught her eye. She could always get a hair cut as a last thing for the day before she returned to the school grounds. For now she planned to just enjoy browsing and watching how people in the town interacted.
~~~
A couple hours later Sayuki had a popsicle in hand and was watching as a couple siblings chased each other while their mother called out for them to be careful. The townsfolk were so lively on the weekend it was a nice break from the school grounds and Sayuki even found herself laughing and enjoying herself. When she came across a street performer she paused with everyone else to watch and clap them on before continuing on her way. It really did seem like it was going to be the prefect day and that please Sayuki.
That seemed to come to an abrupt halt, though, when movement from the corner of her eyes caught her attention and she found an old shop owner waving her over. Curious she made her way over before the older lady beamed up at her with a sparkle in her eyes. "Your cuteness is lost in those drab clothes, dear. Let me fix you up!" Before Sayuki could protest the lady had her pulled into the shop and into a dressing room. What startled Sayuki even more was when the lady began to shed her clothes like she was her own grandmother or something and she began to fight against the lady. Just who the hell was she to act like that? Sayuki tried her best to keep her clothes on, but it seemed like the older gal had more strength then one would thing and soon Sayuki was standing there with her arms across her chest as her cheeks became stained a bright red. The older lady didn't waste any time in prying her arms free before Sayuki felt fabric pulled over her head and when she reopened her eyes she saw the older lady smiling up at her. "Now that suits a cutie like you much better."
Sayuki blinked before turning to look at the mirror in the dressing room and stood there wide-eyed as she stared at herself in a light dress with an accompanying hat and some cute strappy sandal pumps; her usual piercing accessories down to just a minimal couple on her ears. "How did you-?" "Sweetie, you have a smile too cute for any boy." Sayuki blinked as she blushed slightly and looked back at the older lady before looking back at the dress in the mirror and turning a little this way and that. It did look really cute and Sayuki missed wearing stuff like this. The fact that the older lady had known her true gender though still stumped her a little as she looked over her reflection and sighed as she noticed her chest area was starting to develop. It wasn't anything big, but there was still a noticeable something there. Great, if they grew much larger she would have to start binding her chest. Realizing this brought her back to reality and she started to take the dress off before she felt the older lady smack her hands. "Don't take it off. Everyone deserves to purge a little and you look adorable in it." Sayuki sighed before turning to face the lady. "I'm sorry, but I couldn't buy this. I do-" "None sense, just give me one of the oranges you have on you and we'll call it even." Wait, how did the lady know about the oranges? Before Sayuki could ask the lady had her other clothes in a bag and hanging off her arm as she took an orange and sent her on her way with a, "I better not see you wearing those drab clothes again or I will just have to find something else for you to wear."
Sayuki stood outside the store completely baffled as her mind tried to register what just happened. After a few minutes she looked around for somewhere she could change out of the clothes, but paused at a thought. She hadn't seen anyone from school all day. Would it really harm her to enjoy herself a little while she did the rest of her wandering in town before she swapped back to her brother's clothes and headed back to the school? It wouldn't kill anyone or hurt her, right? Besides...for the first time she felt 'cute' since her brother's death and she wasn't ready to completely toss that feeling aside. As long as she didn't run into anyone from school it would be fine; and even then she wondered if they would recognize her before she managed to slip out of their sight and find a place to change. The thought brought a small smile to her lips as she started to continue to wander the streets, looking at different shops here and there.
