TD watched as D.L and Nova left somewhere else, so they wouldn't hear the conversation. At least Nova wouldn't hear anything horrible now. TD then looked at Kiro, and heard him speak about how it isn't human the way Eggman is acting. Not even resting to get some sleep. TD hesitated slightly on his words, not sure how to describe it very well. He wasn't the best at explaining things, so he kinda paused for a moment before trying to explain. "Well... that's because... hes not fully human anymore..." He said then whimpered silently for a bit. Those memories still haunt TD deeply, just even mentioning it made him shiver in fear. "TD isn't even sure if master will even listen to reason anymore... he has completely lost it, ever since he decided to 'upgrade' himself. Connecting his brain to the super computer and extreme... experiments on himself to improve his brain waves." he said and looked saddened, just even saying these words to the rebels. "TD believes that the cause of this... was because he thought, he wasn't good enough." Light was completely speechless, did Eggman turn himself into a cyborg? Is that what TD was saying? If that's true then, Eggman had really lost his mind. Probably why he is killing people with no mercy, because of what he did to his brain. Connecting it to his super computer, probably was motivating that action?

"So he's fallen victim to his own experiment. And now he's become a monster. A...Cyber Eggman.", Kiro spoke quietly at the name of this new adversary as he looked back at the empire. He stood there quietly staring at empire like a statue in deep thought. Has he realized something? Or maybe came up with a plan.
Balto's ears twitched as his eyes slowly fluttered opened. He had gotten a few solid hours of good sleep and now that he was rested, he was ready for action. He slowly rose off the table with a stretch and yawn, allowing his senses to awaken fully. It was then that his ears caught wind of a conversation being had inside the base.
It sounds like the others are awake as well, he thought. I wonder what they're discussing?
He followed his ears and eventually found Kiro and the others, talking to a small, robotic dog. Balto didn't know who this dog was, but he did catch the part about Eggman.
"So the doctor merged his consciousness with a machine? Hmph. It's no wonder why this world is in the shape that it's in."
Before the dog could say anything else, a large hole was suddenly blasted through the wall of the room the Freedom Fighters were in, shaking the warehouse furiously and awaking all that had been sleeping thus far. Ten of Eggman's robotic footsoldiers, armed with proton cannons stared menacingly at the group. The hum of the cannons were low, but active. As if to say that if anyone made any sudden movements, they wouldn't hesitate to obliterate them.
"Now now, T.D. Do you think the doctor would approve of you divulging his secrets to the enemy like this?"
Standing in front of the robots was a bat with medium-length brown hair and crimson eyes. He sported a white coat with questionable specks of red and spiked shoes. His eyes glanced at all of the Freedom Fighters before settling on T.D. with a toothy grin.
"Doctor Eggman sent me to come fetch you. It's high time that you returned."

TD wanted to mention some more important info, but before he could. It seemed that the robots found his location. Blasting a hole into the room they were in. TD had thought he scanned his surroundings before he came here, but maybe his scanner wasn't fully functional after almost being crushed earlier. TD whimpered cowardly, not sure what to do now that he was heard by these robots. He was sure now that he'd be punished for giving the rebels any information. Eggman was probably planning to put him into the shredder now for this.

In the other room away from the group, D.L and Nova heard the loud noise. Although D.L looked towards Nova, not wanting him to be in any danger. He tells him quietly to go and hide. Nova did as he was told though, since it's not a good idea to argue with D. Once Nova hid somewhere safe, he quietly sneaks to hear what's going on in the other room. Without even looking or peaking from around the corner, since he could tell by the sounds they were robots. He wondered why he hadn't sensed their presence before though, but he guessed since he used most of his strength getting into this shadowy form. (separated from Light temporally) It has really drained him into a weak state. Although it was dangerous for both him and Light, if one of them was to be killed. D.L knew Light was in that room with the robots, and he was very concerned on what he should do to save the others. He needed a plan or something.
Out of the dust, Kiro's steel-toe combat boot steps in front of T.D. as his turqoise gaze glares back at the bat and the robots. "Sorry, but T.D. isnt going anywhere. Not while I'm still breathing", Kiro stated towards the bat. "And by the way, where not his enemies. Were his friends", he makes one more statement as he looks side to side at the robots without keeping his gaze off the leader. He couldn't help but notice the questionable red specs on his white coat as his fists tightened at the sight. "Quite a typical entrance you made. I'm guessing Eggman still has a few annoying aspects of his style of being a villain left in him, even with his new tin can brain. He must have rubbed off on you.", he taunted at the bat in a serious tone. For a moment he stared down in silence, then spoke again. "I know Cyber Eggman has eyes all over the empire, except for the outside. So my guess is, you tracked us down through your bat echo location right?", he asked. He knew the risks of what he was doing with all the heavy artillery pointing around, yet he stood there carefree as if he has no fear of death. But the biggest question he had was why would Cyber Eggman send an organic servant. Or was there more to his sinister new foe more than meets the eye?

Balto's gazed narrowed at the uninvited guest and his robotic companions. It was clear that he sided with Eggman, but the wolf had no information on this new enemy. The situation looked unfavorable, seeing as how the group hadn't officially recovered yet. On top of that, it looked like Kiro was trying to "egg" this newcomer on. Balto had no idea what his plan was, but he started looking for way to get everyone to safety in case things turned for the worse.
The bat's crimson eyes gleamed as he turned his attention to the one that spoke to him. He seemed defensive of T.D., saying that the robotic canine was among friends and that he wouldn't take him. This caused him to chuckle quite a bit. Once he recovered from his laughing fit, he addressed his young opponent.
"You've got a nice sense of humor. I like that. Confident. But hey, I'd probably be as confident as you if I took out a Metal robot."
He dug in one of his pockets and pulled out a photograph.
"Yep," he said as he studied the picture. "There's no doubt about it. You're the kid that managed to dispatch Metal Sally earlier. I wonder how you managed that feat."
"But alas, I'm not here to fight any of you. Just to retrieve Eggman's precious pooch. As for the hole, yeah. If I had knocked on the door, there wasn't a guarantee that you'd let me in. So I made an entrance. If you ask me, it ties the whole place together. Kinda gives your base that 'Post-Apocalyptic' feel to it."
He took a step forward, flexing his ears as Kiro spoke of them.
"You're right. I used Echo Location to find you, but again...I wouldn't try anything silly. T.D., the doctor wants you to return. I suggest you listen to him, unless you want to be considered an enemy. Like the rest of them."
When the warehouse shook, Umber jolted awake in his bed.
"What the hell was that?!" he said. He quickly hopped out of bed and left out of room toward the noise. As he walked, he saw D.L. posted along the wall. Umber crept up beside him and decided to ask him what he knew.
"Yo, D.L.," he whispered. "What's going on? Where'd all that noise come from?"
TD whimpered but slowly moved aside Kiro to pass, although paused near him for a moment. "TD has to go... or else things will get worse." he said and started to walk again towards the other robots and bat guy. Although as he thought about it, he was concerned what he'd do. So TD paused again on his steps, now in front of Kiro slightly and between the bots. "Wait... if TD comes quietly, will you leave them alone and not harm them? Just take me back to Eggman, and not do anything to them?" He said towards the bat character he was facing, then looked back at the others behind him. Looking very worried about what will happen, but would rather keep the others safe, if he goes with the bots. He was mostly concerned about their safety now, instead of himself really. ------------------------------------------
D.L noticed Umber creeping up quietly beside him, and looked towards him slightly as he asked silently, what was going on. "We were found... the robots have tracked us, and apparently it was actually someone else with them that found us... doesn't sound like this guy is a robot though in the empire group." he whispered quietly back, although kept hidden and didn't risk peeking around the corner. He'd rather not be found, if there was away to think of an escape for everyone.

Umber's eyes grew wide as D.L. filled him in on the recent events. Their base had been compromised, found out by Eggman's robots and whoever was leading the pack. Based on D.L.'s location, Umber could tell that no serious fireworks had started yet. He wondered why Eggman's group didn't try to lay waste to them already. But as it stands now, the enemy didn't know about D.L. or Umber being so close by. That means they still had the element of surprise if things did start to get out of hand. He just shook his head as tried to take all of this in.
"Gotcha," he said. "So why hasn't Eggman's cronies tried to take us out yet?" he whispered back. "Just what do these guys want?"
The bat smiled a toothy grin and knelt down to T.D.'s level after he asked his question.
"But of course," he replied. "Eggman's only objective for me was to find you and bring you back. So I'm not going to engage a fight with your friends here. That's going beyond the scope of my mission. If you come with us now, no harm will come to them."
He then stood back up eyed the group of Freedom Fighter, a sadistic smile started to emerge on his lips.
"Besides, T.D. This is a war, and they'll be plenty of other battles. I can patiently wait and just kill all of your friends some other time. But worry not. I won't attack...unless provoked."
He started to chuckle for a few minutes before regaining his composure once more.
D.L wasn't fully sure what these guys wanted, until he heard that they were here to take TD. He was still ready to do anything, if it gets heated up. Even the slightest hint of a fight, he won't hesitate to do a surprise attack. Although all he can do now was wait until then. ------------------- TD had a feeling this will be his last time seeing his friends. Not only that, but his last chance to find out why his memory might be tied with Alice. Although he'd rather not risk everyone for a selfish choice, so TD nods and agrees to come along on that deal. "But..." he said then his voice soundly went deep, dark and wicked as he continued. "If you break your promise, I will not hesitate to rip your throat... and tare your guts out." he threatened, so he could get it across. He wasn't joking either, as his eyes glowed red from rage.
((first time TD sounds so evil here xD))

Suddenly, Kiro leaps and lands in between T.D. and the bat. "Thats enough!", Kiro raised his voice sternly as he landed. His tone sounded very irritated. It was all he could stand now just watching T.D. submitting like that. He stared close into the sinister bat's eyes as he spoke to T.D.,"Listen, pooch. Your threats speak pretty loud. But your feelings are even louder. Your not going anywhere. You maybe protecting the others, but you should be more considerate how they feel about your actions. And I dont want protection. Not anymore. I've already had too much of it and I paid the price. I'm not going to sit here and watch that again. And all this running and hiding is really starting to irritate me. So I'm gonna end this stupid little game of cat and mouse. And give these jerks a bite in the a** they deserved for a long time", Kiro spoke out his silent anguish towards T.D. The way he belittled the enemies actions was very strongly. Kiro is defiantly a fighter until the end, so was actual Kiro of this timeline. Then the young hedgehog looks back at him and spoke three commands strongly before T.D. would come up with any excuses,"T.D. Sit! T.D. Stay! T.D....be good".
The young brown hedgehogs leers back toward the bat's eyes. "Here's the deal pal. We already took too much crap from you guys. Personally, I've had it with this world the moment I came here. And you assholes just caught on a very bad day. So Egghead, I hope your listening to all this. Today, I'm coming for you. Break down every goon you send at me starting with this jerk in front of me. And then I'm gonna make you remember what pain really feels like. So no more deals. No more negotiations. No more prisoners. And no more Running. Those are my terms", Kiro stated his conditions as if he was ready to battle the Eggman empire alone if he has to. there was no sign of fear of death in his eyes. Not even a slight tremble or even a sweat. Kiro, a young hedgehog his age spoke his words very truthfully. Which shouldn't looked very normal for most people. And if anyone wanted to speak up and stand with those terms, now's the greatest time.
TD was about to protest, but sat down once Kiro did that command. Stopping himself from saying anything, although he seemed to sigh in away. He didn't think about the others feelings and how this would effect them. Although he didn't want anyone to get hurt either. He was so confused on what to do. As TD sat quietly there, he noticed a robot moving closer with a screen beside the bat. He lowered his head slightly and cowardly, as he knew who that was on the screen.
Of course Eggman would be listening it seems, as he had a little bot with a silly tv like screen come in. So like the old Eggman, although he did seem different. Half of his face showed but the other half was in shadows, although his glasses shined a bit from the small bit of light on one side. He seemed to be hiding part of his face on purpose. Smirking a bit towards Kiro slightly. "It's a challenge then, eh? I'm looking forward to that." he said without the slightest fear, instead he looked like he was excited to see what will happen. "I actually wasn't expecting to see you again Kiro, although you aren't really the same one... You died in this world. As I know for a fact, since I saw it happen. I know you aren't from this timeline, and it didn't take long for me to know that. Once I saw your face... that is. Doesn't just take a genius to figure that out." he said and laughed a bit. He then gazed towards TD slightly, noticing the dog's cowardly whimpers. "As for TD, I changed my mind... I don't need that mut, as I have already created upgrades for my extra robotic dogs. I knew TD would turn and cower someday, maybe even make friends with the wrong side." He said and looked a bit serious, getting to see all the rebels here. Although he didn't see Nova at all, but he stayed calm about it.

Kiro wasn't surprised at Eggman's cold words toward T.D. The young hedgehog stood firmly staring at the old man's gaze on screen as he rested his hand on T.D.'s head. "Well it's not everyday when you build a robot with conscious. Especially since he was never yours to begin with or even a robot to begin with. Same goes for Sally too....", he stated until he mentioned her name quietly. "I just have one more question old man. Sonic...Where is he? I know he's still alive.", he asked in a silent serious tone. If Cyber Eggman where to take a closer look, the Kiro he is looking at is quiet different from the one he knew in the past, besides he should be more older instead of a young teenager. He had cold fearless gaze in his eyes. The kind of gaze of an angry wild feral animal that has seen death and lots of blood. The Kiro of this world was never like that. He was more virtuous and pure with a righteous warm glow in his eyes.
A wide grin appeared on the bat's face due to the recent events that had transpired. T.D. had agreed to come with them, so long as his friends weren't harmed. But apparently, that didn't sit right with headstrong twerp. He got in the bat's face, commanded that T.D. remained with them, and basically challenged the entire Eggman Empire to a deathmatch. Winner take all. The bat's razor sharp fangs could be seen with his grin. He loved the twerp's idea so much so that he wanted to be the one that swung first. But before he had a chance to retaliate, Eggman hacked one of the robots and inserted himself into the conversation. When the doctor accepted the challenge, the bat practically jumped for joy.
"Ya mean it, Boss?" he said. "We can finally kill these miserable worms? That's fantastic! I love it when a good plan comes together."
His crimson eyes cut back to the robotic dog, having now effectively been disowned by Eggman and gave him a dark smirk.
"I guess our deal is off the table then."
The bat flexed his wings and jumped back a few yards away from the hole, his battalion following him as well. He started to crack his neck and hands, preparing for the fight that was bound to come. Eggman could have the one robot. He'd make due with the others by his side.
Balto, on the other hand, couldn't believe how bad things had gotten. While he didn't have an attachment to T.D., he could see that the current situation wasn't something that everyone favored. However, even if Eggman managed to take T.D., he would've been ready to launch a rescue mission to get him back. He was starting to see just how much of a hothead Kiro was. While the wolf also wanted to take Eggman out and recover the Master Emerald, not everyone was prepared to go to war this very second. Wounds from that last battle hadn't exactly recovered, and Light, a main member of their already small fighting force, wasn't at 100% either. What Kiro was planning to do was basically suicide for the rest of the team. While he had Eggman preoccupied, Balto turned to the rest of the group.
"Alright, this seems to be the breaking point between the Empire and us." he said. "I'm well aware that not everyone is up for battle at this second, so all of you who can't fight need to get to safety. Those of you who can, need to stay and back up Kiro. I myself will be staying."
The wolf gave the team that quick "heads up" so that they could handle themselves accordingly. No sense in everyone getting killed at this very moment.
With tensions running high, Umber just gritted his teeth from his hiding spot. He didn't want to give away his location, but he was growing frustrated with amount of setbacks the Freedom Fighters were going through. Today was suppose to be a win for their side, but they couldn't even stop to nurse their wounds without having to fight all over again. The black dog was fed up with getting pushed around by the Eggman Empire.
So when Kiro decided to stand up on their behalf, Umber rallied behind him. The two of them felt the same way. They were done with having to strategize and plan everything from the shadows. Like Kiro, Umber was ready to tear Eggman's empire apart in order to find his brother. Needless to say, he was behind Kiro's actions 100%.
That was when he heard his voice. Apparently, Eggman hijacked one of his robots in order to speak to them directly. Just hearing his voice brought up the painful memories of his past. Of being put into slavery, of his mother dying of illness, and his older brother having to sell his soul just to protect him and their sister. Umber's rage had reached its boiling point, as he quickly dashed from around the corner and joined the others.
"Yo Egghead!" he exclaimed. "What Kiro says is right. We're done being pushed around by you and your goons. So just hang tight. We'll be on the way real soon. And then I'll be able to bury my fists into your miserable, ugly face!"

((Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been feeling well and have stuff coming up soon. So I might be busy all day on the weekends too. I might get time to respond at late times in the afternoon, but yeah I just had to let you guys know. This might be a everyday thing, and having to reply late at night/afternoons. Mostly just in the afternoon before I crash for the night.))

Eggman laughed slightly then grinned, not bothered by Umber or the others as much. "Oh I doubt you'll get that chance. You and your little group are already at a disadvantage." He mostly payed attention to Kiro though, and seemed to change his expression a bit to a more serious one. That question he asked kinda confused him, mostly because he had everyone believe he was dead. So how would this small group know about that? He kinda had an idea on who would mention it. Either it was D.L or Nova, but he really hoped that last guess wasn't true. He kinda stayed silent for a moment, noticing the look in his eyes, he was way more different then the Kiro from this timeline. That gaze was like looking into the eye of the beast pretty much. Although Eggman seemed calm but his expression seemed serious too in away. Although without knowing, he had some kind of scheme or idea on his mind. That's when he started to test his loyalty with his so called friends. "You know, Kiro... you don't have to go through all this trouble, if you really don't want to. If you really want to go home and get off this all troublesome timeline, I can let you use two emeralds to get back home." he said and he actually seemed serious about that. Like he wasn't lying, and truthfully he wasn't. The less annoying people against him, the better it was.
Alice stood up beside the others and her brother. She wasn't injured really and had good enough stamina to fight. Although her brother was more ready for a fight then anyone else it seemed. The rest like though went somewhere for cover it seems, and only the ones that couldn't fight. She froze though once she heard that Eggman was offering Kiro a deal. He even seemed serious about it too. She really hoped Kiro wouldn't betray them and just leave them to defend themselves.
