RP - 9/17/2014 - I Guess We're Mercenaries Now [Complete]

Giving a small mental handshake to Sihlo as he finished piggybacking off her mind, Reno would directly tap into the Gloom's mind and begin to talk, with Harleen able to translate the thoughts into human speak and the reverse also being true. 'Okay, so why do you need to get out of Goldenrod? Is something wrong with you or Casey? Or is their something darker at work here?' Reno questioned the Gloom, hoping that he had managed to find someone actually cooperative in this place.

Lip curled in obvious disgust over the smelly pokemon, the assassin lifted the Gloom and, holding it as far from her body as possible, began carrying it towards the girl, "C'mon, let's get you to your girl so hopefully she'll be a little more cooperative. "

How did this situation get to be so screwed up? This was just supposed to be a simple job. Kill the target. Get off the train. Get paid. Nothing complicated. Now she was caught up with a group of freaks trying to find a murderer just so she can avoid a murder charge, herself. Sighing, she set the Gloom down next to the girl, "Here."

RC pokes around. maybe there was something we had all missed? As he is looking, RC notices his Kiseru has gone out. He sighs and starts to dig out a match to re-light it.

Seeing Reno appear to be either in deep thought, constipated, or trying to do what channeling he could, Cera figured trying to see if he had any leads wasn't going to accomplish anything. She could only hope he would find out something, her attention back to Sihlo as she wondered herself. There still seemed to be something more to her, enough to prompt her to try and get some kind of slight link with her mind.

She wasn't sure what she'd even have a chance to find in their mind, if she could even get a link to it in the first place. Her ability to synchronize with others' thoughts never was known for being instant.

The assassin, who'd already moved back to her seat and away from the foul pokemon, straightened and began looking around as she felt a familiar twinge in the back of her mind. Similar to when Reno had communicated with her, but.... different somehow.

Who the hell are you?

She tried to block off her mind from Cera's probing, however the girl wasn't quite as skilled at this as she'd like. If she pushed hard enough, Cera might be able to pick up a few stray thoughts concerning Sihlo's mission to assassinate the, now dead, man for a Mr. Psychic.

Reno would take a second to ponder the thought before realizing that Cera was hard at work probing into Sihlo's mind. Reconnecting to the assassin's mind before using it as a link to Cera, who was outside his sight lines right now, Reno began to talk to their Snagem mascot. 'Look, can't explain. Was connected to the dead guy when he died, now I can't move but that ain't important. Look, Casey put some of her Gloom's powder in her dad's cigar. Now, doesn't that sound like how he died? Poisoning via cigar? But hold onto that for a minute, I need to try something first just to be sure.' The stream of consciousness would quickly cut off Before Reno connected back to Casey's mind. 'Your Gloom told me you put some of its powder into your daddy's cigar. Start explaining to the girl following Looker around or me right now before you turn into the guaranteed suspect.'
