xxxxx Arekku nodded as she headed to the restroom it seemed. He took a booth next to a window. He sat back as he waited for Aki to rejoin him, he looked up at the ceiling lazily and then to the window then crossed his arms. He felt fidgety for some strange reason, an found himself scanning the area around the cafe and outside the window over and over. As he did Aki suddenly appeared before him, her eyes met his as she asked about his whereabouts.
He stared at her seriously for a moment, before he started laughing at the implications animal kinfolk. When he finished laughing he looked back up to her, then grabbed the menu in front of him. No no no... packs of wolves or a band of Gorillas. I'm sorry to say, Aki. I kind of just got lost out there." Arekku said a little cryptically and somewhat out off character as he was now scanning through the menu.
He then sighed as he put down his menu and looked back at Aki, he cleared his throat and took a deep breath. His face had also started to turn red as he looked somewhat embarrassed.
" Took my training over seas to try my strength with other warriors, ended up in a strange country called Yllise, found my way to a pub, I got drunk, left pub, found myself ambushed, fought hard, got thrown down a waterfall, hit my head hard, then I was found by a young couple, the young couple turned out to be the kingdoms strategist and a prince on their way back from political party, I discovered I couldn't remember who I was but remembered all my jutsu's and how to fight, and I ended up being taken into their army after some weird turn of events. After that it gets pretty complicated to be honest. So make a long story short, I regain my memory and headed back home." Arekku finished saying all in one breath his face red as a tomato from embarrassment. There was obviously a lot more to the story of where he had been and done than his very brief and exasperated story led on.
At this time a young waitress arrived at their table and waited to take their orders. "Hello my name is Haru, I'll be your waitress today. What will it be?" She said with a big smiled at his face to the two shinobies.

xxxxxHis clear embarrassment only egged her on. A devious grin spread across her features, “Wow sounds like some kind of fairy tale. Did a prince come along and kiss you to give back your memory? Was this prince a frog at some point too? I bet he was handsome prince before he was a frog, and even handsomer after he was un-frogified by your passionate kiss. So when can I meet your new frog prince boyfriend?” Her voice quickly devolved into mad giggling. Images of Arekku getting cozy with a crowned frog delighted her mind’s eye. She tried to say more but couldn’t get past the fit of laughter. It took realizing the displeased stares from around and shoving a napkin in her mouth. It was at that point she realized the waitress had shown up mid chuckle fest.
xxxxxShe nearly choked on the napkin trying to spit it out. Cheeks taking a rosy tinge of embarrassment, Aki quickly hid behind her menu and rattled off her order, “Green tea and shrimp fried rice, please.” She continued to hide behind the menu until the waitress was gone. Thankful she was able to keep her impromptu fortification Aki breathed a sigh of relief and looked over to Arekku. Clearing her throat she struck up the conversation once more, “Aaaha, sorry sorry. It’s hard to not poke fun at you. Sounds like you had a hell of a time away from home, and not all too much in a good way. Fighting in an army in a strange land after losing all your memories sounds terrifying. I’m glad you’re back and safe now. Is your head all good after that spell off a waterfall? I know you’re a good enough medic, but maybe you ought to have someone at the hospital just double check that everything’s alright in that thick skull of yours. Up to you though.”

xxxxx Arekku was resting his head on his hands as Aki's wild fairy tale spewed on. He just stared at her kindly as she spoke about his romance with the prince. When she started chuckling he joined her as well.
He stopped when Aki told her order to the waitress, he followed after her. "Let me just have a drink, a jack and coke please." He said trying to regain his composure to speak with the waitress after the little chuckle he had. "Not really as hard as you'll imagine, they became my friends. Though for a while the only one that trusted me was the pair that found me haha it took a while till the rest trusted me......" he laughed lightly now a big smile on his face again. "Plus a dreamy warrior-prince, you can't go wrong with that. But personally I was more interested on the strategist.... Ahh that one she was a beauty I'll tell you, to bad she already had her prince..... Literally haha...." Arekku chuckled as he leaned back a little, he rubbed the back of his head now, his hand running through the old head injury.
"And about my head it's fine I assure, I did a diagnosis myself and already had it looked over by someone else. However............." Arekku paused for a few seconds as he took a deep breath and then sighed. "My eyes aren't what they use to be anymore. I'm not too sure why or how, but they're weaker now that much is for sure." His face became somewhat paled as he mentioned his eyes, before he let out another sigh as the waitress brought their drinks to their table.
"Anyways, I believe that's more than enough about the handsome noble prince Chrom, the lovely strategist Robin, the brave warriors known as the Shepherds, and of course about the dastardly sexy shinobi Arekkusu." He chuckled as he picked up his drink and was holding up in front of his face, with the same hand he was holding his drink he extended his index finger and pointed to Aki. "How about you Miss Aki Chiru, or do I say Mrs. Aki now? I like to know what kind of troubles my favorite babysitter has been up to?" He asked her with a curious look on his face and a grin that follow suit.

xxxxxAki settled back into her boothseat as Arekku shared a little more of his adventure away. She smiled as he spoke, however the smile faltered as the 'however' hung heavily in his words. Emerald gaze narrowed at him but she held back the comments. If he wanted to claim he was fine despite being slightly weakened then so be it. She wouldn't press it any further, at least not vocally press it. The drinks arrived in the moment of silence between them. Her hands sought the comfort the warmth radiating for the stoneware cup that held her steaming tea. Once he continued again she brought the cup up to her lip and grinned over pale green liquid within. Sexy shinobi? Riiight.
xxxxxAki was about to take the first sip of her tea when he referred to her as Mrs. The pale haired girl sputtered a bit then finally laughed, "Hahaha, Mrs. Aki? Oh no no." Taking a sip she returned the cup to the table and folded her hands together, "Your favorite babysitter is still most certainly not a Mrs. No hearts stolen by me yet. I've just about here, doing what I can for Kusa. Just came back from a mission actually. It didn't quite work right as we had planned. But we succeeded with the initial goal in the end." Her words drifted off for a moment as she took to chewing on the corner of her mouth. She was probably going to be bothered by the events of that mission for awhile. "Anyway! Like I said, not much changed with lil' old me. Just been working and training for work." She shrugged a bit and looked off to the side just as the waitress returned with her plate of food. Thankful, Aki found the best looking shrimp in the large pile of fried rice, speared it with her fork, and happily ate it. "Mmmm, want any? I'm never able to finish it off anyway. The portion is always way too much." She nudged the plate a little more towards the center of their table then took a few more bites.

xxxxx Arekku took a drink of his whiskey as she spoke his eyes stared at her, his smile never leaving his face. He attempted not to frown at the small discomfort about the mission. As the food came and Aki changed the topic to her food he picked up a fork, as he scarfed down some of her food as well. He happily at the food, though he was more interested on his drink.
As he finished about half the plate he looked back up at Aki, he let out a small sighed as he had tried to think what to tell his friend. Her tone and mood shifted a little it was slight, but noticeable enough. The word "mission" triggered some confusing thoughts inside him at the moment. He had come back to Kusa, but with no plans at what he was gonna do their once he arrived. The only thought that guided him back, was the one returning home. But as the town layout had shown him, even home has a tendency of moving on when you are gone. "Mmm that was good, thank you." He finally said as his brain hurt trying to figure out what to say. "Well I'm glad my favorite babysitter heart hasn't been stolen away by anyone. I mean I would just hate myself if I couldn't be part of the wedding reception." He chuckled then turned red as the thought of Aki as a bride crossed his mind, it made his heart skip a beat. As such he was trying to cover his face with his drink in front of him.

xxxxxWith Arekku's help, she polished off the meal quickly. Aki plucked up the last shrimp inspected it for a moment, as if deciding if she still had any room left. One little shrimp was nothing to half that pile of rice. Eating the shrimp she set her fork down and pushed the plate towards the end of the table. Content, Aki picked up her tea cup once more. It was still warm but no longer scalding. She took her time to enjoy the moment. A meal with a dear friend. A stomach full of food. Good quality tea. Some sun shinning on her face from the window. Even the low drone of others conversing about. It was all pleasant. Aki altered her position to stretch her legs out along her booth seat and rest her back to the wall and window sill. She shut her eyes and thought for a bit in the space of silence in their conversation. It was for moments like these, she realized, that she worked for. She killed for. And tortured minds with illusions for. Moments like these made the grime worth it. Aki cracked one eye open at the mention of wedding reception, just in time to see the red hue his face had taken. She chuckled at the sight and offered him a smirk in response.
xxxxxShe took the last sip of her tea, just in time for Haru to return. "Can I get you anything else?" She asked while taking up the empty plate. Aki moved the tea cup towards Haru, "I'd like another cup of tea please." The waitress nodded waited for Arekku's response then went off to get the tea. The young woman tapped her fingers on the tabletop for a moment before getting back into the conversation. "Of course I couldn't have a wedding reception without one of my best friends involved. Plus you'd make such a cute flower girl. I already have your little pink dress picked out and everything. Lace, ribbons, and all the ruffles you could dream of." Her new cup of tea arrived as she was chuckling at the new image on her mind. Arekku was now posing in his flower girl dress with his frog prince. She took the cup in her hand and thanked their waitress with giggles in her voice.
