Yuzhi had actually taken to wandering a bit outside of the small place she called home and even further than that. She was in the territories of Halloween and while she often wandered about she was usually not very interactive with others deciding to just watch quietly from a quiet place here and there.

Today it was different. She'd seen the ghoul quietly fussing at a plant and that was enough to bring the small Conquest Horseman closer toward the figure.

"...Doesn't that hurt?" Her voice was curious but quiet, her eyes directed mostly toward the hands within the plant as they worked.

Yuzhi let out a soft and quiet 'ah' in response to her answered question. The idea that she'd initially been unheard was not something that entered her mind - because clearly everyone can hear her if they are sitting out in the open, earbuds or no.

The small mare tilted her head as she listened to the ghoul and eventually a fingertip was extended to her. Yuzhi wasn't disgusted at all. Instead what happened was blushing and a sudden looking away as if the ghoul had suddenly asked her to make out.

"N-no. That seems...inappropriate for acquaintances..." The act seemed far too intimate for Yuzhi to consider taking part of.

If Yuzhi had been more streetwise perhaps she would have started joking about stranger danger or not wanting to be bad touched. Instead? She bashfully stood there with her hands folded behind her back - it made her look deceptively younger.

There was a moment where Yuzhi tried to consider the appropriate or inappropriateness of taking essence from within a vial before she spoke, "I think taking it off of the body of origin would be a rather intimate thing...It shows vulnerability on your side. What if more is taken than you can supply? What if the other person has something in their mouths that could make you ill? In any case ... we are not that close that I could..Just ... take from you without feeling ... strange." There was a bit of a blush on her cheeks as she spoke.

Yuzhi took in the introduction and responded with her own, "Yuzhi Jiang a Scholar. I am of Conquest."

Would she like to see a plant? Yes. Yes she would. Her excitement got the best of her as she wandered even closer, "A plant? What kind is it?"

Yuzhi wasn't certain as to why she cared but she certainly did, at least enough to care if a potential ally was in some sort of danger. There was also the fact that with a very few exceptions, Yuzhi rarely wished harm on anyone. She let out a short laugh, "Your bluff worked to your favor, if this is the outcome you wanted," Yuzhi replied. There was a shift in her demeanor as her head ducked down humbly, "Thank you, not many see it as a virtue sometimes."

There was an interested tilt to her head as she listened to the talk about plants and prototypes her head shook very slowly in response to the question, "I'm afraid that I do not know a whole lot about plants. I know how to preserve them by hanging them upside down or flattening them for pictures and the like," she said with a small smile. "That has more to do with the end of a plant or flower's lifespan once it is plucked or cut..."

It almost seemed sad and terribly tragic to the small mare.

There was a low thoughtful hum from Yuzhi and then she simply nodded, "That is because their families or other connections coddled them too much, likely." The small Conquest mare was of the opinion that many lacked proper discipline and upbringing.

Yuzhi's interest was a bit perked when the comment was made and then the hand went almost intangible, there was a very interested stare at the act before she just watched Amarus for a few second before she wandered a little closer. Yuzhi reached up a small delicate looking hand and grasped onto her sleeve, "So you are a ghost being? That is so interesting, I have not met one yet, care to tell me a little about your day to day life...? Please?"

Yuzhi shrugged a shoulder and let out a short giggle, "My Mama and Papa loved me true enough, I suppose I was coddled a little but I suppose that is a parent's right." She didn't linger on the subject for too long, it didn't seem like a subject the small horseman wanted to linger on.

The small mare blinked at the question of whether the ghoul had a soul or not. What was a soul? "I maybe once you were hollow and your experiences in school and this world have formed you a soul. I believe that is what a soul is, a collection of life experiences and feelings."

No one was soulless. Not even those without emotion - they still had the benefit of life experience.

"I feel that these are admirable, Amarus. I do not see anything wrong with wanting to do as you want even if it is in mischief," she smiled lightly.

"You are very enlightened," Yuzhi had decided this already in a short span of meeting this figure.

I love you too~. I was on vaycay when I did the tag. I had found a few moments to spit some tags out and then the moment left rofl. <3 Trying to get on some sort of track now.

"I am also glad that we have met, Amarus," Yuzhi said with almost too much earnestness to her tone, she couldn't help it. There were only a handful of times where she made such a firm connection with someone and seemed to have much in common with them. There was something nice about making friends that almost left Yuzhi with a bit of a heightened sense of personal wellbeing.

There was a quietness to her when the idea of revenge came up. She couldn't quite claim that she had no room in her heart for revenge - Yuzhi still hated that her original home had been torn away from her and that she had to scrabble her way around to make sense and her own place in a alien place for a while. It was like having her honor ripped away from her and then being pushed into the mud straight after. The small mare did smile after a second or two and simply said, "Sometimes when a soul grows priorities change," was the simple comeback to that thought. "I am sure we will be good friends, I do not see anything preventing that," Yuzhi replied with a firm nod.
