As the title says, any updates made to the guild or announcements of special events will be made here rather than guild announcements unless it is necessary. This could mean an update to the profile skeleton or having a bunch of Heartless spawn on all the worlds at once as just examples. As a start for this newly created forum, I only have one update:

Twilight Town is now accessible. Like any other world, if you feel it is missing something, has too much,. if there is confusion, whatever that needs to be addressed about it, don't be afraid to speak up. Remember to submit questions, comments, complaints in the correct forums, or simply send a private message to me.

Okay, so you may have seen me added some more forums just now, so I'll just list the worlds that are now available to explore (along with what was previously able to explore):

Castle of Dreams
Country of the Musketeers
Deep Space
Dwarf Woodlands
Enchanted Dominion
Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden

As a special note, Deep Space only has the Prisoner Hold as I am trying to figure out how to do more areas right now, and Country of the Musketeers is only accessible if your character visits Disney Castle and time warps through a special door in the Hall of Cornerstone (which will be added later)...so technically Country of the Musketeers isn't available until I had that particular area. (The same goes for Timeless River).

Clearly there isn't enough activity, though that was expected for just the beta phase of this guild. Maybe what is happening is that no one knows where to start posting, so I come up with an idea: a tournament in Twilight Town. Thats right folks! It is time for a Struggle!! biggrin

~Struggle~

For those who are unfamiliar with the Struggle tournament, it is quite simple: it is a fighting tournament involving a sport in Twilight Town called "Struggle". Struggle is a combat sport where combatants fight each other with weapons known as "Struggle Bats", which come in the form of a Sword, Hammer, and Wand. Outside of the tournament, the winner is decided by whoever is left standing. In the tournament, combatants wear Velcro vests with rubber balls attached to them, and objective of the match to knock off all the opponent's balls off the vest. You can also win by having the most balls at the end of the match time limit. Magic is prohibited as well as any other weapon aside from a Struggle Bat.

Anyone who wishes to participate in this tournament, start posting in Twilight Town so we can get this show on the road. biggrin

The Story and Profile skeletons for stories have been locked momentarily. At this moment, we will be implementing something different to see if RPing in this guild be a little more simpler yet more interesting. We'll provide an update as to when this two sections will be ready.

I am currently working on creating a forum to include NPCs (Non-Player Characters). This is for those who want to make NPC's just for simple character interaction. However, NPCs cannot have any impact on whatever story you have in mind for your character. To put it simply, they are there to fill in available space in a single world and help without progression. Right now it's a matter of deciding of whether I should do a simple Skeleton for them or let you guys come up with an idea for an NPC that you will control, as well as a few rules about NPCs. I will post an update when this is ready.

To speed this up a little bit, let's move on to the beg ginning of the tournament. Since we only have three contestants thus far, each of them will fight an NPC one at a time. You can make the fight last longer than one post if you want, but don't drag it on too long as your opponent is an NPC. After the fights are finished, I'll figure out a way to determine who will fight who. As for who fights first against an NPC, it will be whoever posts first. LET THE STRUGGLE BEGIN! biggrin

I made a decision about the NPC's that will be used: Bully, Nimble, Calculator. Don't be fooled by the names, although I wouldn't blame you for the Bully. These NPC's represent personality traits as well as their fighting style: Strength, Speed, Defense. As far as the NPCs go, that is who they are and how they will fight. In terms of who fights who, I will be making a forum in which we will roll dice or generate a random number. More information on what will be done will be on that forum.

Drawings

We have the results of who will fight who for the Struggle Tournament preliminaries. Here are the matches as follows:

Stella vs Nimble
Krystian vs Bully
Kayligai vs Logic

As far what each NPC defines, I'll list them here as well:

Bully: a brute who places all of his confidence and skill in strength to the point that he is overconfident. Hes also tries to look for that one-hit kill, which can be devastating if he can manage a hit on you.

Nimble: possesses a small stature and weak attacks, but a definite speedster who can quickly close on you for a swift strike and run away. His main tactic is guerrilla warfare, meaning he will close in, strike, and run as stated previously before, but his lack of confidence may lead him to mess up.

Logic: a calculating type as one might assume, he is the type to take caution in his moves and watch carefully how his opponent moves. From the data he collects, he will attack his opponent in a certain pattern. However, this can make him predictable if you use that same strategy against, which might lead you to do something that is against your style of fighting, you can try to win by fighting what you specialize in since Logic does not possess extraordinary ability.

Profile Skeleton

There will be a small change going to be made to the profile skeleton after noticing that the skill level of individual characters are not clearly defined. Sure, there is the skill tree, but there has to be something else that would separate someone who is highly skilled versus someone who just started.

For example, how to differentiate between a Keyblade Wielder and a Keyblade Master? This change shouldn't be too drastic and simple enough to follow. Anyone who has been approved before will still remain as such, but I ask that once the change is implemented, make any necessary adjustments to your profiles. I might also try to change the Weapon's section a bit to help clearly define the difference between keyblades and non keyblades.

Profile Skeleton

I said that I update the profile skeleton and I did. My hope here was to differentiate Keyblade Wielders and Non Keyblade Wielders from their weapons and their ranking, and also adding a ranking system. For everyone, you must update your profile with the recently added section Skill Level if you're profile is already approved. For this still making profiles with the old skeleton, use the new one instead. It is not much different from the old so it won't ruin anything you done so far.

The Weapon's section has been changed a bit so that is easier to see what it is I'm asking for those who are Keyblade Wielders and those who are not. Based on the profiles that we do have, I don't think any changes are necessary in the weapon's section but double check just to be sure.

Story

The Struggle Tournament has finished the preliminary rounds and is about to be begin. We have four combatants left, one of them will be a new NPC of the role player's choice of whatever the player desires aside from the ones that have already been used. To be in the finals, there are two different options: be the player who fights the NPC or defeat the other role player. The one who fights the NPC is guaranteed to be in the finals, the two role players facing each other won't be the same story as only one can make it. I will provide another update when the details are sorted out.

Struggle Tournament Semifinals

I decided on how the semifinals will be set up. There will be four combatants in the tournament, one of them being an NPC. This NPC will be whatever the RPC's character's design so long it hasn't been used before (eg. Bully, Nimble, Logic). To determine who fights who, there will be another number generator like before. This is how the number generator will work:

Stella:
1= Krystian
2= Kayligai
3 = NPC

As you can see, I will be the only one participating in the number generator. If I end up with an RPC, that is when the controller of whichever RPC I end up with and I will roll a six sided die to see who will win since our characters are evenly matched in Skill Level. The higher number will win, but in case of a tie, there will be another dice roll to see who would win Last Man Standing. (Meaning each RPC will have one orb attached to each other and the winner will be whoever is left with that orb).

The matches have been decided. The one who will face Stella in the semi-finals is Krystian. Ximena_Lotus (if I spelled correctly), you and I will be rolling a die to see who will make it to the final round against Kayligai. unlimited blades, you get to decide on what type of NPC you will be facing but you are guaranteed to make it to the finals. Whatever you decide your NPC is, he must be at least somewhat of a challenge compared to your first opponent. After all, he did make it to the semi-finals.

Stories

I changed the story section to be a little more simpler. There is no longer a profile skeleton to make and no special section to post them. Your story will occur within the Open World, but now you are free to write a story for your character and everyone involved. What this entails is you can decide who will involved in your story as well as the journey and conflict your character has to face.

Struggle Tournament Finals

So the final match is upon us. Our finalists are Stella and Kayligai. Who will win?! It all depends on the roll of dice doesn't it? Of course it does, so the RPCs in control of Stella and Kayligai, get ready for a dice roll. This dice roll will be simple: roll one six sided die and the one with the highest number wins. If its a tie, the match will end in a draw. May the best roll win!
