Diana's eyes snapped open at Castiel's yelling and all nine of her tails puffed up to several times her size. Quickly the Kitsune leaped up and drew her sword at the same time that she summoned a huge fireball, ready to fight off what ever was attacking them, wondering why Shade had not alerted her of danger, only to see that the raven was still perched and looking at the now panicking Winchester with slight interest.

"Calm down, it was just a bad dream." Diana kept her distance, not sure if there was a chance of panicked attacks. "Deep breaths."

Suddenly hearing a voice Castiel's whipped his head around violently towards source. Recognizing his new comrade he began to relax. First his breathing slowed. Then he closed his eyes and let out a sigh of relief. Finally he became aware that his fists were threatening to damage themselves so he relaxed them.

"Sorry..." Castiel breathed out raggedly, looking up to meet the kitsune's eyes as he apologized. "I have visited his dreams many times but I've never had one myself..."

"Something tells me I don't want to know about what you did to this 'he' in your dreams." Diana's own tails returned to their normal size, and she once again sheathed Moonrise. "Just next time you have a wet dream, try and be a little more quite. If there are other monsters and the like about, that yell is sure to have alerted them,"
PostPosted: Sat Nov 16, 2013 9:03 pm
Castiel tilted his head in confusion as he processed Diana's words.

"My dreams...? Wet...?"

"Sammy! You shouldn't be ashamed of having a wet dream! Besides, if you had a girlfriend you wouldn't have so many-"

"Shut up, Jerk!"

"b***h!"

"Oh. You mean an erotic dream culminating in orgasm." Castiel blurted out when he suddenly understood. "I don't understand how you came to that conclusion as I haven't had an orgasm or ejaculated..."

He shifted only to discover his back was stiff and that he felt cramped in general. Instinctively he raised his arms, interlacing the fingers, and reached back. It felt like the the aforementioned muscles took a breath and relaxed. Pleased with the result he continued following his vessel's- his body's muscle memory and stretched until he was standing all the while clarifying his earlier statement.

"I was referring to a time where I would meet my friend in his dreams in order to communicate with him as it was too dangerous to meet in person. Because of this I have witnessed many human dreamscapes but I have never... never... created my own."

"I see, " Diana looked over Winchester then, and nodded. "You get use to them after a while I guess, can't think of a time I didn't have dreams, and some of them were quite weird."

Diana waited for Winchester to finish with his stretching, it was clear the guy was not use to sleeping on the ground, or sleeping at all for that mater if dreams were new to him.

"Other's can be quite fun, though I agree nightmares suck. I'm guessing that Dean is your friends name, since that's who you were screaming about. Another angel?"
PostPosted: Sat Nov 16, 2013 9:27 pm
Castiel tensed when Dean's name passed the kitsune's lips. Fear momentarily paralyzed his body as his mind frantically scrambled to assess the situation.

He had chosen the name Winchester so that if his false name found itself in enemy ears he could act as a decoy for the brothers. But now that his momentary companion has the name 'Dean' as well, and not in association with himself who is no where near as tall as Sam...

I can't do anything right...

Castiel growled in frustration and struck the tree behind him only to jerk back, howling in pain.

"Why..." He gritted out, clutching the wrist of his bloodied fist. "Why can't I do anything right...?"

His eyes watered though whether it was from the physically pain or the emotional pain, he didn't know.

Diana's eyes widened at Winchester's actions, then quickly went over to him. "For one, trying to punch out a tree is never a good idea, they tend to fight back."

She carefuly took reached out to grasp at the bloody hand, thankfully nothing was broken, so it only took a quick spell to close the wound.

"Hey well all screw up from time to time, right? No clue what you did but I'm sure that you learn from your mistakes..that's all any of us can do, and no more tanking your temper out on a poor tree, unless it starts the fight."

"I don't deserve forgiveness" Castiel jerked back suddenly to exclaim more and more fervently. "I told him that. I should have stayed in Purgatory then none of this would have happened! But Naomi... I should have stayed..."

He caught Diana's eye and became aware of himself. Taking a a deep and breath to calm himself he apologized.

"I'm sorry... I can't seem to stop initiating situations that end in my having to say that, but I really am. And thank you for healing my self abuse..." His hands trembled, only it wasn't from pain or exhaustion but from stress.

He took another deep breath, "I should probably start the story, shouldn't I?"

"Might as well, I'd be less confused with outbursts that way." Diana moved back to give Winchester some space. "Also I do need to have an idea of what might be coming at us."

Diana made sure that her sword was secured, and fidgeted with a none existent wrinkles in her sash.

"If your ready we best get started, we've got a few hours before we get to anything like a town, so might as well talk as we go."

While they talked Shade took flight, to scout ahead of any danger that they might come across.

Castiel followed the kitsune's lead as he had been demoted from an angelic one hundred percent accurate sense of direction to... none.

Matching her pace, he struggled with how to begin her education. Though he had failed to conceal the information he didn't want known, his severe sense of caution hadn't wavered at all.

Might as well start with that question...

"I suppose I should start with Dean..."

As they walked Diana listened to Winchester's story, it was quite interesting really and she couldn't help feel sorry for him. That poor man just couldn't win in losing it seemed. Though Diana payed attention she and let Winchester tell his tale, she did interrupt if she needed clarification, or to stop and listen if she though there was possible danger, thankfully though very little happened.

"So basically you got all of the heavenly host on your butt?" She summed up once she was sure he was done. "That could prove interesting, hopefully we can get to your friends will little interfaces, if not, well I'll just have to see if those angels are flammable, or can stand up to Moonrise for that mater."
PostPosted: Sat Nov 16, 2013 10:59 pm
"Sadly it's not just the entirety of the Heavenly host out for my hide..." Castiel amended with an air of shame. "I have betrayed the King of Hell on more than one occasion so I've got most of hell after me as well. All are justified, of course..."

Castiel stopped suddenly in mid stride. He wore a deeply serious look on his face as he drew his blade from his trench coat and held it aloft.

"It is difficult to kill a demon but there are ways. Unfortunately there is only one way to kill an angel: with their own blade." his sword hand lowered slightly as a wave of sadness swept over him. "I have killed so very many of my brothers and sisters... All this blood of my hands, oceans upon oceans of blood, they are all loved ones... I can't bear spilling any more..."

He sheathed his sword and finished firmly, "I will understand if you wish to withdraw from our arrangement. I believe that you are trustworthy but my judgement isn't... Don't misunderstand, I will fight to the death to protect the Winchesters should you betray me, but I'm too tired of second guessing myself. Tired of others dying for me, because of me... I am eternally grateful for your help up to now, but you are free to go if you wish. "

"You are, well were an angel." Diana couldn't help but point out. "It would make since if demons were out to get you. I would kinda wonder if you were friends with them." As she spoke Diana reached into her bag and pulled out a small satsuma, which she tossed from hand to had as she walked.

"And not gunna happen, I am tougher then I look after all,I'm afraid your stuck with me for a while," She then quickly whirled around and beaned Winchester on the nose with the satsuma.

"Now cheer up. Okay so you made a huge mistake, several in fact. Point is we'll find your friend and I'm sure they can help you fix it. Just no more trusting those other angel fellows, they sound bad for your health."

Castiel rubbed his nose where the fruit had struck then bent down to retrieve the unconventional projectile from where it had landed.

"Thank you..." He said gently with a soft smile.

He was momentarily lost in thought then held out the orange for the Kitsune to take.

"Hello. My name is Castiel. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Castiel, I like that, defiantly fits you better then Winchester. " Diana took the offered fruit and returned it to her bag, just in case she needed it again. "Since we're re doing introductions I'm Diana O'Connell."

She grinned, at Castiel as she spoke.

"He's off for now, but Shade is the raven's name, a good companion as well as an excellent scout."

As she spoke she looked up to see Shade circling, the raven cawed once and then flew to the north.

"Looks like he found something, a road will be my guess.Shall we go?"
