Calla pushed her way through one of the bushes that had surrounded the village. She transformed into her wolf form then lifted her head and smelled for any scents of animals or humans. When she didn't catch any scents she turned and padded down one of the stone walkways. The alpha looked up to the plants that were starting to grow onto the houses. Calla made her way up the hill and in front of a wooden house, the door broken down and the windows shattered. She walked through the doorway, looking around the house for a little then padded into a small bedroom in the back of the house. The female padded up to the bed and sniffed it a little then climbed up on top of it, she got to the end of the bed which was towards the back wall and laid down and curled up into a ball with her muzzle underneath her tail.

Conner entered the village through the trees. He lifted his muzzle to the air and took a big wiff of the air. He smiled as he smelt his mate near. The alpha padded up to the spot where Calla was and smiled seeing her there. The male then curled up next to her.

Calla's ear flicked when Conner had curled up to her. She lifted her head to see that her mate was right by her. "Conner? What are you doing here?" She asked, a little surprised to see him here.

Conner lifted his head adnd looked at his mate, "Sorry Calla. I was bored and couldn't find anywhere else to go. Hope you dont mind." The alpha looked at his mate and smiled lightly.

Calla shook her head then closed her eyes again. "You won't bother me, I'm just taking a quick nap, it's much easier for me to sleep here..." Her voice faded as she drifted off to sleep.

Conner nodded his head to his mate. The alpha watched her sleep. Once the female was asleep he laid his head ontop of hers. He kept his eyes open watching for any intruders that might be lerking around.
