Need a caffiend boost?! With several locations scattered through New Salem, The Coffin Bean is where students of Monster High congregate for the beast coffin drinks in town!

We're happy to announce that we've joined forces with the local Scream-Puff Cafe and set up a brand new location in their former lot! We now proudly serve Scream-Puff pastries and cakes alongside our award-winning coffinccinos at all New Salem locations!

(getting the ball rolling. Continued from Dorm thread)

Ronan crossed the already bustling room to join Dashner, but he didn't sit, rather he just stood there looking a little awkward.
"So uh.. good morning?" His hair was still damp from his morning swim, and he looked a lot happier than he had the night before. He didn't seem to know what more to say, or really what to do with himself.  

[Dashner Hawke]

"Good morning, Ronan."
Dashner sat back and sighed. He glanced at the menu, not sure what he really wanted.
"Marceline came and left... SKRM must start real early in the morning."  

[Ronan Aalto]

"S... k.r.m?" He looked utterly clueless as he finally took a seat, putting the icoffin he'd been using for navigation back into his coat pocket and studied the menu himself, it all sounded pretty good to his rumbling stomach.  

[Ascreama Poweurgh]

Ascreama wandered round feeling torn between the new Coffin Bean or the old Spatisserie closer to town. Both offered excellent choices but she didn't want to be on her own for long. Meme had rushed off to try-outs shortly after they bumped into each other, saying she needed to go warm up.

Ascreama began talking to herself whilst deciding where to go "I'd rather warm up with a nice hot coffee.." She pulled out her phone and hext her new monster friend:

Good morning! Hope all is well ^___^ It's *breakfast time* Hooray!! ^ 3 ^ Want to get something? <3 xoxox"

His icoffin beeped and he dug it out of his pocket once more, cringing a little. Ascreama... wanted to eat with them. He'd hoped to be able to enjoy breakfast.
He felt a pang of guilt for that thought, remembering Meme's scolding.
He looked to Dashner, then at the message, then at the menu, then back at the message.
"Is it rude to lie to spare someone's feelings?" He asked Dashner, still unsure what he should do here. Much as he liked Ascreama, she was after all a nice enough ghoul, the thought of watching her digest pastries was a little much this time of morning.

Ascreama realised the Coffin Bean was closer and the more she thought about the coffee scented air, the more she craved it. After a short walk she was about to put her phone away and enter the cafe when she spotted Ronan inside, tucked away at a corner table with Dashner.
She snort-giggled to herself and tapped out another hext before he could reply:

She quickly stuffed the phone into her satchel and pressed her face against the glass, blowing gross raspberries against the cold surface.

His phone pinged again and his heart sank, slowly, reluctantly he turned his head and saw her. He tried so hard to repress the shudder but it was hard with her blowing... raspberries like that.
He did all he could to compose himself and tore his gaze away from the horrendous scene. "Ekkel..."
Carefully he replied to the hext, wondering quite what he'd done to deserve this.

Ascreama pulled herself away, with a little difficulty given the vacuum she'd created between her face and the glass, and laughed heartedly.
Noting the look of horror on his face she grinned, muttering to herself "At least he didn't turn green this time!" and pushed open the door.

The coffee scent hit her and she felt a rush. There was something comforting about the bitter sweet smell and the loud chattering in coffee shops that made her feel at home. She remembered the countless days spent in coffee shops when her dad forced her to get out for the day and 'be sociable in the outside world'. She'd sit in her own withdrawn corner, reading or drawing for hours with the company of coffee and strangers.

She waved to her friends and said "I'll be there in a sec!" above the noise, digging around for her purse and ordering a large plate of painstries to share and a double hexpresso.

Dashner rolled his eyes and sat back. Grrrreat. He wondered if Rory would like to join them. So, he excused himself from the table and walked to the boo's restroom.

Rorrim Rory Bludworth

He looked into the mirror, hoping Rory want still asleep... That'd be embarrassing. Yet, it was 10 AM by now.
"Rorrim! Rorrim! Rorrim!" He repeated his chant 13 times, and waited for his beastie to appear.

Ronan looked at Dashner with panic in his eyes. "Help... " He whispered. The dread had been replaced by terror and uncertainty, he wasn't sure he could face sitting and making small talk while the blob girl ate. He didn't have a strong enough stomach for that, he knew he didn't and it would be poor form to have to rush off to throw up or something. He needed an excuse, and fast.
But the flighty bird boy seemed to have decided now was the ideal moment to abandon the hapless Selkie to his fate. Curse him! Ronan for a moment wondered if it was intentional.

"Hey there growls!" She smiled but noticed the bird-monster roll his eyes as he left the table. She set the tray of food and coffee down and sat opposite Ronan.
"Dramatic much.. What's his problem?" She asked, reaching for a icing coated donut and fishing a well-gummed mangoo comic out of her satchel.

"i... don't know" he decided to stare at the menu intently so he didn't have to watch her. "He always seems a bit... flighty." His voice was strained, he was obviously extremely uncomfortable but he was also very very hungry and the smell of those pastries was far too tempting. His stomach growled and he winced.  

[Rorrim Rory Bludworth]

"What th-" One moment, Rory was in his bathroom in Mirrorverse, brushing his teeth, and the next, he was standing in what was clearly a public restroom, looking at Dashner Hawke. "Dude! Not cool!" Rory sprayed toothpaste at Dashner. He regretted letting anyone else know about his family curse.

Ascreama looked up as Ronan seemed rorn between nausea from watching her and nausea from hunger. She pushed the tray closer to him, "Have as many as you want!" She offered.
After flicking another page of her book and picking up another croiss-haunt, she dug a free hand through her bag and hid it under the table.
"Meme talked to me.. She mentioned that you have a, uhm, problem watching me.. eat.." She produced a delicate lace sleep-mask and handed it over.
"It was her idea!" She insisted "But.. I thought you'd, uh, like it in blue.."
