Tell us what your Christmas hauls were! I also received a great deluxe squirrel-proof birdfeeder and some lovely earrings.
So, what's going on with the rp? Now that the holidays are out of the way and it seems to be smooth sailing for me work-wise, it's time to double down, open up, rev the engines and restock ALL the cliches to get things moving again. Here's what's on tap for the near future:
-We're going to cap off the Luna High Graveball story arc within a week. The prank war will lead to the big game, and that will cap off the day (which, if you've lost track, is Thursday rp-time).
-There will only be a few 'during school' things rped for Friday, because the big emphasis is going to be on the Date Night sub-plot a few characters have been preparing for. Dashner Hawke and Peggy Springwell will finally have their date skiing down an active volcano. Who will Draconia end up going out with? (seriously, who? 13 Mansters on her list and I have no idea!) What other romantic foibles or adventures would you like to see happen during Date Night?
-The Saturday after Date Night is Harry Herne's big Woestock fearstival. Do you have ideas that you'd like to see happen at the fearstival? Which characters should fang out? Will the band Atomica & the Rest...In Peace steal the show, or will Jimi Hexdrix play them into oblivion?
-After Woestock, we have two more events before the end of the Scaremester. The first is the last SKRM (Skulltimate Roller Maze) match, between perennial rivals Granite City and Monster High, and the second is final exams. For the SKRM match, I am thinking about changing up the format of the roleplay a little bit. Tell me, would you be interested in an event where everyone roleplaying (even the spectators) can control what happens in the event? What I mean by this is, even if you are just sitting in the crowd, you could write something like:
Draconia St George
Draconia yelped and covered her eyes as she sat in the stands. A giant tidal wave rose up next to the bridge Glen Da West was skating on!
And the next person to reply would be able to do the same thing. It would be a bit more challenging, but it would let everyone have more of the action in their laps. What do you think about this?
Finals is going to be pretty brief. We're going to wrap up the first half of the year and then be able to move on to winter break. Winter break will be a good time for new characters to move in, get introduced and situated before we start the second half of the year and move into Spring Scaremester. Does anyone have new characters they're thinking about introducing into the rp?
(more to come...)
