Meteor had left a tremendous scar on the planet. The once green land withered and the radiant light of Mako vanished. The calamity known as Meteorfall would never be forgotten by anyone who lived through that fateful day.
In the midst of tragedy, people worked to help one another, and the world slowly began to rise from the ashes of decay and decimation.
The once cold blooded army, that ransacked towns of their people and killed hundreds, was put to a stop by Vincent Valentine, with the Former Avalanche group and along with the WRO's resources, or so they thought...
As of the last couple months towns have been having a lot of missing reports f kids ranging from young as seven to their late teens. Even the town of Edge, that is usually filled with kids laughter and children having adventures in the back allies with their imaginations, have turned to a depressing silent town. With more than most missing, the local officials have checked into it but so far there weren’t any leads. Finally the WRO took the case, after the officials contacted them, and what they unraveled would not even worse of it. Under the Shinra building a lot of old labs and prisoner cells used by Deepground years ago, have been recently used. Inside one of the abandoned labs remains of what looked to be a mutated human. After the WRO’s scientist examined the body it was discovered to be one of the missing kids.
A couple months passed with no leads and kids still going missing here and there but no major disappearances, until in one night four orphanages were ransacked of the children and the founders of the orphanages were killed. Finally the WRO found a break by finding a small base in the mountains. Inside have the Deepground emblem imprinted everywhere on everything. The WRO sent their strongest and most skilled agents to go undercover as members of the new Deepground, to find out more information. Much more has been unraveled, but the leader still remains a mystery. At the moment we know several small hide outs are scattered out through the towns such as Nibelheim, Midgar, and Edge. What is their goal? Who is the new leader? Fight against or Fight alongside Deepground, it’s your choice. The kids of Deepground have been stripped of most memory, except for a few.
This Roleplay will allow you to create a character or be one from the games, or movie. This Roleplay will take place AFTER the events in Dirge of Cerberus, meaning, no Zack, No Aerith, or any character that has died will still be dead unless the Deepground made clones during their experiments. The RP will be set up after we get enough people, and after we start it, you’re still able to join!
