Sonja stared at the scene, the boy, and everything else. 'The rumors were ture..' She thaught with a leel of distrubance. The boy was young and clealry hadn't been eating well revcnelty scrawny and dirty as anythign.
Contract.
He wanted her to perform a contract? She wa sno assassin, least not a professional one by any stretch of the imagenation. Mre of a mercanarey, than agian who wans't these days. "You've been doing this for awhile yes." She stated seeing the dust that had collected around the home save for the center here the unholy ceremony had been performed. In the dark room her pale skina nd hair glowed brighter than the sun it seemed, the cnadles encirling the body made her eyes glow a blood red while she eyed the boy, who seeme uttelry extsatic at her precense and not fearful.
"I'm a mercanry boy an assassin on my best days." She tried explaining but kept her voice cool and level if only for the child's beneift.

"Yes, I did the black sacrament, for so long" Aventis said, it really had been a long time since he started but he haddent given up "and now your here, the dark brotherhood" he clearly wasent listing at all to her. He was far to exicted that in his mind it had worked. "My mother...she died...so im all alone now and they sent me to that offil Orpginage in Riften" he explamed "a woman called Gerlig the kind runs it. But shes not kind at all, she horrabul. and i want you to kill her" He didnt really know what he would do after but he jest wanted her gone, everyone there did, all his friends there hated her he knew that much "So i ran away and came home, did the black sacrament and you came, This is really happing, the dark brotherhood really did hear it" Ofcorse he didnt know that she really wasent, but he didnt care he was convinced that she was an assasian and that was good enough for him.
After all what kid wouldent think that after preforming it for so long and then someone he has never seen before come, she jest had to be in the brotherhood.

Why had she agreed to do this?
Sonja wondered as she stepped out fo the house after, despite her better judgemtn, accepted hte boys contract of killing the old women.
Zev wouldn't be thrilled about heading to Riften today but he seemed ot want to contstnalty move which shoudlnt' give him to much toruble. Ethier way she felt as though she had just stepped into somehtign she shoudln't have. Everythign in her todl her to run away form this and make sure that the Brotherhood never hears about this. Yet she accepted and now she wonderd what madness had taken hodl of her.
To late to step back form it now though.
Re-entering the Inn and there room she saw Zev slowly sttirring form his sleep. Well perhapes they qould be off sooner rahte r than later, though she would need to come back to inform the boy the deed was done that hsouldn't be to hard, hopeuflly.
"Wakey wakey mister heavy hitter." She said wlakign over to the bed as he started rousing and lightly swatted him on the head.

Zev yawned and rubbed his eyes a little "Im up already" He said. He cracked his back as he streached relaxing only for a moment before he took a little scrap of leather and tied back his hair. Well the top layer of it anyway. "alright, when do you want to be out of the city. I would like before noon" he said, that was reasionabul enought he thought "Hows a quick run to the general store in the gray quarter for some food then we can be out of here" He figured that would give them more then eought time to get out, the less they stayed in this city the better.
He also wanted to keep moving as well, the more they moved the hearder it would be to track them. That was his mane goal unteal he figured out exactly what to do. He had thought about leaving Skyrim all togather, He didnt thin that he would be chased outside of skyrim. He jest wasent sure yet and he didnt know ware to go to as well. He could only go so far in a day and he knew that he wouldent be looking over his shoulder all the time. But he would be for as long as he could.

Her heart was pounding faster than Sonja could recall in years. Her back was pressed falt agaisnt eh door of the shack and she was breathing hard tyring to calm herself. Everythign had gone so wrong!Aventus, rigten everyhting!
The letter ... Gods the letter! Why hand't she told Zev? No! She hand't needed anyone to protect her in a long time! She didn't hadn't needed him!
The Brotherhood- Astrid- had found her somehow, though perhapes that hsouldnt' ahve surprised her. And dragged her to Gods only knew where!
A debt must be repaid. In blood. But who's?
The women's words hung in her mind.
One life for a blood debt. Kill the fool and send them to the Void'
She had without hesitation she killed the Cat, and the women and the whimpering Nord. Only one was required yet after the first she simply killed the other two ... just becuase.
Quite the over achiver aren't we? But well odne indeed
The assassin promised ot let her goonce she repayed her debt and she had the key was dropped in fornt of her and htough she had been hesitent to bend down and pick it up the other women made no move form the bookcase.
An invetation to join my family. The Dark Brotherhood
Her horse was sitll tied up where Astrid said he would. Pointing in the directionshe needed to go, as she was told.
Silance My Brother
The last word clung and rang a sweet song in her mind that was eerily comforting and frighening at the sametime. The gray mare was frightend she coudl tell and she clutched the riegns to keep her form running as she utied her.
'Zev must be worried.' She thaught unbidden. She didn't want to know what the woment owuld do with the corpses she wanted out fo the swamp and back into what coudl be considered modeate safety.
Pine forests of Skyrim. Dark and Thick perfect for our family
Climbing on the mare who squirted akwardly in the mud as her hooves got stuck somehwat Sonja didn't look back to know if Astrid had emrged behind her form the shack. The horse took off with a bit to much speed into the knee deep water and Sonja foudn herself tensing with uncertianly.
There were many things to fear in the marsh.
Her horse rode fast stright ahead, as she was told to ridde, back to Marthal. Where her and Zev had rested the night beofre. The town was more eerire than any she had ever seen, cursed many said. Fog was alwyas prsnet and the air was always dark and depressing.
Her brath came out in fast white puffs singling that she was, hatefully so, afriad. Zev had been present with ehr for many months she gornw used to him, always able to keep the most heaviet of threats away form her. And she the one he coudlnt' see.
She heard him calling her name shortly and she was filled wiht an odd sense of relif, much that frightend her. Without thinking she threw herself down form the horse when she found him way from their campsite, and she knew alter she owudl hate herself for it, suddenly threw herself fully at him hugging hi tihglty to her enough to where her ribs might even crack agaisnt his heavy armor.

Suddenly going to Riften had been a shock for Zev when Sonja had said that she needed to go. He didnt want to go further into Stormcloke terf but at the same time, Riften was always a good place to hide if you were looking to hide from something. And he did want to move as much as they could, he hoped that eventuly the companions would jest get tired of looking for him eventuly and give up.
That was a mistake to go to that city in his mind. He was even more on guard because he didnt want to get robbed blind, though not everyone there was bad, for the most part the Argoiens that ran the in were alright. And he was able to try one of the drinks that they made, that did help him relax a little. But he was still glad when they left. He didnt want to worry about thifes, or doing something to make them mad.
He didnt know why sonja had to leave again so suddenly,it seemed odd to him, he offered to go with her but she had been insistent that he dident, so he tolder her that he would be heading to Marthal and if she wanted to meet up with him again to head there.
He didnt expect her to come back, Or to look like she had jest seen aghost that saposadely haunts the airea around the city. So they had set up camp outside the City and planed to keep moving in the morning.
But when he woke up he didnt see her, Her hose was gone and so were her things, but her brd roll and the plate she used was still there. And that gave him jest a bad feeling 'she wouldent have left in the middle of the night he thought, he had hoped so anyway. None the less he had started to look for her. He walked around looking for anything that might have told him ware she went, he found nothing. so even though he didnt think it was the best idea he started calling her name to see if she was around anyware.
He had been looking for hours when he hurd a horse and seen her, He was worried at how scared she looked, and even more worried at the fact that she had hugged him, in the moths he had known her he saw her do anything to avoide contact. But she still looked really scared and he wasent about to jest let her deal on her own, despite how she acted he did see her as a friend. So he placed his hands on her back gently and he rubbed her upper back in a comfurting way "Its alright...its alright...I got you" he said softly to her to help calm her down. "what happened...I was worried sick about you..." he asked, If anyone hurt her and she told him he was going to kill them personaly

'What am I supposed to tell him? I was stupid enouhg to accpt a contract meant for the Dark Brotherhood and they foudn out than abducted me? I also passed thier initationa nd now I was invited to join them?' Hoenslty she wans't sure even if she could manage to tell him the full turth if her voice would work. She hated herself for beign so scared and even more so forclinging to him like a freigthend child, but she was and she couldnt take it back.
'He wont let me live this down.' She thaught to some distant dismay depsite herself. She hadn't expected him to shove her away, but perhapes her current lapse of snaity made him take some semblance of pity on her as he held her back.
No she defeintly wouldnt' ever live this down.
A sharp comment was on the tip of her tongue but it seemed as htough it had grown numb in her mouth at the moemnt. The three murders weren't bothering her at all she had killed before, thoguh perhapes her victims hadn't been so restrianed but she felt very little ot no guilt over their deaths.
"Nothing .. notign happened." She fianlly managed to get out while haivng herself crushe dup agianst him. 'The smar thing would be to tell him, last time I didn't listen to my insticts I endd up gettign abducted by an ancient order of Assassins.' She thaught bitterly thoguh she decied later. Later woudl be better. "Can we leave please? South preferablly?" She hated how shaken she sounded but it sadly reminded how much of a frail human she really was.

Zev wondered what was south but he could see that she was upset and so he wouldent argue, this time anyway. Though he did want to get to Solatude, mostly to tell the imperial general about the dragons, that could wait a little longer, Nothing happened yet and it might be better to take the long way anyway. "Yea we can" he said. Despite what she may think he wouldent hold this agest her, He knew that everyone was scared of something, he had grown a strong fear of wolfs recently, thought that was with good reasion. "Ill go pack everything up and well be off"
Really it was jest packing up the bed rolls and getting his horse ready. They were lucky they had found these horses at a pandit camp it made travle so much easer.
He mounted the paint horse once everything was put away. He looked over to Sonja to see if she was ready, and seeing that she was he gave the horse a gentle tap in the side with his legs to get her going. Down the road heading south, Well not south derictly, more the long rought south. meaning they would be passing threw the whiterun hold, he was nervous about that but at the same time he didnt think that they would think the would ever come that close again.

The journey south was silent for the most part. Sonja wasn't in the mood for talking, more than normal anyway. She was happy to see the snows thinning as they made their way more to the plains of Skyrim. Bandits were a constnat threat they came across non, small favors it seemed. Her mare was still spooked and wouldn't back up at the slightest nosie, horse and ridder wee of one mind it seemed. She ntoed Zev looking partically on edge, chances were he had a few encounters she wans't aware of.
'Both of us just got shipped up the same creak it seems.'
The grass of the plains greeted them and it was a very welcome change indeed. The horses woould occaisonaly shake their heads to get snoq out of their mains while her and Zev did the same with their armor. The sun at least was warm and pushed the cold away for a time at least.
"Zev," She said suddnely spotting somehtign strange up ahead. "what is that?" She asked seeing what looked like a toppled wreck of a wagon and .. a VERY strange man.

PostPosted: Sat Jul 06, 2013 9:37 am
Zev blinked looking at the strang sean, He guessed most people would have jest walked past, since well there was a jester yelling at the wagon. "Looks like he needs some help" he said as he rode closer, He was going to atleast ask what was wrong, despite what he might hear from Sonja. He knew that being stuck was no fun and is very destresing.
He got off his horse and tentively took a few more steps. "Umm....something wrong" he ased tentively.
The Imperial let out a loud huff, clearly upset "Oh Yes yes, Cicero is trying to bring his poor poor mother to a new crypt, a new resting place...buy damn this wagon wheel" he all but yelled the last part "Boken wheel mean that Cicero cant bring mrother to her new home."
Zev wondered why he stopped but he was someone in trobule. "Um...well maybe I could....help you some how" he offered. and regretted it when he saw the jester do a little dance.
"You you will help poor cicero....oh yes yes, Go go to the far, Lories farmm talk to Lories, he has tools, convince him to help and Cicero will reword the kind stranger....with gold, shiny clinky Gold"
Looks like this will take longer than Zev thought, "Alright, Ill be right back" he turned to Sonja "Hey Im gata go see if i can talk someone into helping this cicero guy ill be right back" he said before walking up to the farm.

'And you leave me with the fool. Charming.' Sonja thaught depsite herself as she looked at the strange man after dismounting her horse. She had seen many a strange thing sense comign to Skyrim some more distrubing than other but this man was Strange. Looking ove rthe horse that was grazing to the side of road, clealry the mans, than at the large odd box he was hauling.
"So your mother died. Old age or something else?" She asked while looking at the strange box. She would have prefered to just keep on moving but Zev and his bleeding heart it seemed had other ideas. 'Though that bleeding heart as it were has saved me more than a few times.'
Keeping hold of the reigns of both her horse and Zev she glanced at the strange Fool beside her. 'What bet did this guy loose?' She owndered briefly while tyring to remain somewhat calm but feeling oddly edgy and restless.
That man smiled far to much for her lieking ehll everythign aobut him smiled it seemed. His eyes hsi body language it was starting to get on her nerves.
"Do you always talk non-stop?" She fianlly had to asked sense it was startign to gring her alreayd warn out nerves.

The hole time the jester had been mumbling something or other, unteil the woman spoke. He looked her over, not at all in a way that said he was thinking anything perverted, no something else. Some would say he was far to mad to notice women anymore. "Oh mother is very old, and im jest trying to be a good child and binge her to the place she can rest" he said still smiling. Ofcorse some could say he was acting strang because he was in destress and that could be belivabul. But that was not the sole reasion. no he had been like this for years.
"My my why so nervous...you act as if Im...Mad" he started laughing. He knew he was mad, but then again everyone in there family had to be a little mad in order to live, And when your alone for so long with nothing but a jesters constent laughing then your mind tends to go a little. Anyrthing to git rid of the scilence was good in his mind. Though he had hoped to hear the mothers voice and not the jesters laughing but that was not for him he knew that as keeper he would never hear there mother even though he wished that he could. One day someone would hear her speek again he was sure of that.

"Your odd that's for sure." Sonja replied back not necessarly unconfrotnalbe with his potental madness but more because of her recent ordeal. Shewas convicned she was becoming even more paranoied than before, so uch so she was convicned she heard whispering all aorudn her.
But htat was nonsense.
"We'll get your wheel fixed and you cna go bury your mother. ... Whenever Zev gets back here of course." She muttered the last part more to herself while adjusting her hood to hide her more form the sun, despite the land beign a frozen waste she burned extremly eaisly form sunlight.
Sene she didn't see Zev walking back she was forced to assume he was sitll delaing wiht the farmer, than agian dealing with their kind always tended to be tedious mistrustful and at times more annoying than they were worht. Glancing at hte borken wheel Sonja didn't need ot be a master craftsmen to know it butsed beyond normal repairs. The two horses she was holding were taking advantage of the rest ot feat on some grass with the bornw one the jester had and though she took to wathcing the raodside she was becomign irratated wiht the constnt whispering.
"Could you ...please stop talking? Your giving me a headache." She siad after a minute of the insesent whisepring. Must the Fool prattle on even when no one was spekaign to him? She had half a mind to cut him or rob him or bloody hell both!

PostPosted: Sat Jul 06, 2013 12:50 pm
This caused the jester to look hearder at her. "Cicero has not been talking" he said since he for once haddent, so she couldent have hurd him. One thought was that the night mother had spoken to her but she dident say the words, and that ment that he could not be sure, she needed to say them for him to be sure. Another thing was that she hurd them in her head " The voices tend to keep you company though dont they" he laughed a little.
HE saw the redguard comeing back, Without the farmer, But he had the toold with him. So that made him think that he would fix it. He didnt care how it got fixed he jest wanted it fixed.
Zev was not able to convince that farmer to help himself, but he was able to convince him to let him barrow some tools to do it himself. "Here Ill fix it. That thick headed farmer didnt want to help himself" He was only able to get him to feel guilty enoguh to let him barrow the tools and supplies no charge. Since that wheel was gone beond repare he even got a spar the farmer had for his own to fix it. "Its a little smaller than the other wheels but it will get the job done." he said as he got on one knee and started to place the wheel in the right place.
Cicero laughed and started dancing again "Oh oh kind strangers willing to help, Oh Cicero will not forget this oh no no neather will mother, mother will be very greatful" he said. His wagen was getting fixed He didnt care if it was a little off balnce, It wouldent be to bad it looked like, the coffen wouldent fall out atleast.

'Weirdo.' Sonja thaught jsut as Zev came back and began repairign the busted wheel. "Sure you don't me to help convice the farmer to offer a hand? You always say how uttelry convicng I am." She offered to Zev while she stood back with the horses.. and why was the Fool looking at her formt he side now every other second? That made her visibly uncofnable and on edge.
'Your hand so muchas reaches in my general direction I'll have ripped off and feed to a dog.' She seethed inwarldy giving a cold glare at him when he looked at her again.
Imperials. Weird lot they were.
A distant roll of thunder alerted them to the now common place change of wether. "Zev not to be a pill and tell you to hurry but please hurry. i'd rahter not be stranded out int he rain again." Skyrim's rians were as cold as there snows and almsot as frequent.
Zev's painted mare gave a loud whinne suddnely forceing Sonja to hodl her riegns even tghter to keep her form running off. "Just wolves be clam." She told hte horse while her gray mare was backing up in a fearful amnner, wolves htough were very common. Though given what her horse had been threw she didn't blame the poor creatre form bieng so jumpy now.
