Its amazing that after 8 years this guild still hasn't died. Rather I'd like to think its on life support. I've been reminiscing through the old threads from 2005 to today and I laughed out loud several times. I could write a little blurb about all of you.

Alex (Or smoothie as it seems you go by these days), I want to personally thank you for all of your hard work throughout the years as vice-captain. I know that even when this guild was fairly active I tended to go MIA for lengths at a time and I don't think we would have survived for the 3 years we did without you. Not to mention you were without a doubt the most active person in the guild.

I can't promise I'll still be lurking around Gaia the next time one of you decides to visit the guild so I'll just say that ALL of you impacted my early teen years so much. It's hard to believe that this guild started 8 years ago. We've all grown up so much. I know I have.

What have I been up to? Well, I'm currently in college studying Elementary Education although I've been heavily debating going into something administrative so that I'd have some pull with how shitty the education system is ran. I'm currently researching majors that would allow me to get into the heat of the action and really make a difference. My freshman year I got into the National Honors Society so that was kind of badass.

These past couple of years haven't been good to me but I keep on trucking anyways. I'm pretty much just burdened with indecisiveness with how I wish to pursue my future. I feel like I'm wasting my money in college taking classes that I won't even need if I change majors again. I've changed twice now sweatdrop Each time though it's always been in the field of education at least. Work is absolutely draining. I get to work with kids all day (some days I hate it. Some days I love it. Depends on how the kids are acting I suppose).

I've been pursuing my writing as well and really do everything I can to be a published author at some point. I'm also really good at rapping >.> That was kind of a surprise. Picked up that hobby a couple years ago.

Anyways that's just a little bit about how my life's been lately. I won't bore you all with an autobiography.

How have you all been?
In the event that one of you reads this, update me on how life has been going for you! I'd like to hear back from anyone and everyone that has ever posted in the guild!

If anyone wishes to contact me you could hit me up through any of these outlets. I'm either on or check them daily.

My word it has been a while since I was here, it is kind of strange that 8 years ago I just started getting in on this, then within a year I had a whole group of best friends. I almost see this place as an old temple, lost in the ruins of my own memories.

As our Captain said, we could all wright stories on the people we met here, I know that I could wright a novel about what this place used to mean to me. Not even Gaia, I barely went anywhere on this site, I really only used it to get to the CCC. I spent a hefty amount of time making friendships with everyone who posted anywhere in this guild.

For a good while this guild was a big factor in my life, I looked forward to seeing the little face go from dull to smiling when you guys signed on, it meant I could talk to a friend, see what was happening in your lives, tell you what had happened in mine. I considered most everyone on here a real friend of mine, not just people I talked to online, but people I saw as friends, I could talk someones ear off with knowledge I knew about any of you. It is sad to say I have forgotten many things about what happened here, but that doesn't make the time I was here any less special.

I doubt I will come back here, but I would love to keep in contact with anyone who even made one post in this guild.

It has been a great while. and great to see a few have traveled back its life a blast from the past.
Life is life I suppose. Finished school in the CCA (continuing care assistant) but inquired a major shoulder injury 2.5 years ago unabling to follow that path. (heart breaking) I am determined that one day I will go back in to the health care sector or work with kids. (who knows really). Recently started a great job that takes my time especially when I'm being called in even on my days off. My pt job turned in to a ft job. lol

I enjoyed our time together back in the day it was my way of escaping the parts of everyday life I wanted to escape from. And it worked well. Made a lot of great friends I would of never met if I had not joined.

Saddening that most of us have grown apart after spending a few years together.

But if you ever would like to catch up you can either reach me via

or simply email at standbb@hotmail.com

8 Years ago... Well I did come around like 6 1/2ish to 7 years.

I was a great time while everyone was around. Geez what was I doing on the internet so much as a kid tho haha. Don't regret it you guys where/still are awesome and was some fun times.

My adult life since then, no where in college land I plan to start tho in the spring semester of next year. Went to Iraq for 9 months that was nice a simple deployment, spent 2 years just partying and showing up to work after that, and than now on my 3rd month here in Afghanistan waiting to go home here soon so I can finish off my four years in the army and start a civilian life for the first time since high school.

also... ryan... your facebook link doesn't work or you deleted it... talk2hand

Dag yo. Four years in the military. I couldn't do it :> Must be exciting to know you'll be settled down soon.

And my facebook is back up :p I just had it temporarily down while I looked for a new job. Didn't need any potential employers up in my business haha
