Noticing that his question was ignored, he decided not to bother her about it. Eyes glanced towards the piano as she called for her uncle. Eyes looked at the taller male as he announced their arrival, "I'm fine sir." With a nod he bowed, "Thank you sir" He softly said, nice to be greeted by a warm welcome. Eyes looked back towards the other, "You have a lot of men in your life" He admitted casually.

Aya giggles and asks,"A lot of men in my life?" She blushes and said,"Oh, well I've never met my mom, nor do I have a sister." She smiles and said,"So who shall we hear first? Me or you Tai?" She giggles and stands near her favorite piano.

He blinked, "I kinda lost connection with my family, so I have no clue what's going on with them" He admitted to her with a chuckle before she asked the next question, "I believe it's fair for ladies to go first" He chuckled softly, "Besides, I want to hear you play" He admitted.

Aya pouts and hugs his arm lightly,"It's okay, you have me." She smiles and giggles,"Even if we just met, you're like a big brother I never had. Not much of my family members care about me. I barely know my family. We're too independent. But if there's anything wrong, let Aya know." She smiles and blushes,"You want to hear me play?" He smiles and sits down on the piano chair. She adjusts herself and takes a deep breath before playing a strong, but gentle song.

His head nodded towards the the other. He wasn't exactly close with his family to begin with, maybe some exceptions came with Tai. Still he was one for an introvert, or one who was in favor of working alone. He nodded for a moment and blinked, "Yes I would like that" He agreed. Finally she was playing and he listened along rather carefully. His expression remained relaxed as she played each note carefully.

As the song came to a close, the last note gave a strong vibration in her heart. Her shoulders relaxed at the end, allowing her mind to blank itself out. Forgetting that Tai wasn't there at the moment, before taking a deep breath and opened her firmly shut eyes. Looking over at Tai, she asks curiosity, "So what did you think?"

He could tell that she was basically playing her heart and soul onto the keyboard yet it wasn't long before she stopped playing. He needed a moment to think about it but her question needed an immediate answer, so he provided her with a few rewarding claps. He wasn't sure if she could perceive it as valid criticism but now came the professional part of his hobby. Bit by bit he was willing to take her through.

"You're really a natural. It's honestly pretty rare to see now a days, have you received any lessons by any chance?"

Awaiting his answer was a bit too hard for the young vampire, but it was worth it. His claps filled the quiet, commodious room. It brought warmth in her heart, if it were possible, but that didn't matter. Someone actually accepts her love for music, excluding her uncle; this could be defined the second best moment in her life. A natural? How is that possible for her? Seeing as to how amazing he was back then, this was amateurish.

"Lessons? No I haven't, but sometimes my uncle gives me music booklets to practice with. Like Chopin and Tchaikovsky, the fast rhythmic ones are the ones he usually gives me." After explaining herself shortly, her eyes gave a glint of excitement as she then exclaims, "Now! It's your turn Tai! I can't wait to hear you play again!"

It seemed she was a self-taught learner, something he could understand well but unlike him, she actually had some link of support. The male breaks away from his thoughts as the happy medium was presented. It was now his turn to play, then again it had been a while since he even laid his hands upon the keys. Either way, he was happy to oblige. With a nod, he moves over towards her direction, motioning her to provide some room for him to sit down.

"Well hopefully I'm not too rusty but I guess we'll find out."

Seeing him lost in thought had her worried about him just for a bit, but quickly his mood changed again. She scooted over at his direction and allowed room for the much larger male. She lets a small, yet gentle smile grace her features as she looks at him.

"You'll do fine, I believe you will." She stated quietly, waiting for his small performance to start, her excitement sent shivers down her spine.

Sitting down, Tai extended his arms out towards the keys of the grand piano. It may had appeared odd but really he was just checking if it would be a comfortable position to play in. Mental notes were given; back straight, mind clear, direct visual of the keys and finally, think of a memory. Finger finally began to dance on the keys and now the music fills the room. A whole different expression formed from his relaxed state; one of determination. He plays on, allowing his memory channel into his music.

Feeling the atmosphere change around the male next to her, her expression turned serious. Determined eyes began to stare him down, then suddenly he began playing. The determination began dancing off each note, it wasn't as intense as her performance. No, this was like going through memory lane. Memories flow through her mind, causing a great stir in her heart. Raising her right hand, she sets it above her wildly beating heart. This was totally different from other performances she's heard, this one felt more... painful?

He doesn't notice her sudden movements, rather his mind was placed on the next notes that presented themselves before him. Of course the performance appeared painful, because that was the mood of the memory he played out for her. It wasn't because he wanted to dim the mood, but rather he wanted to show her the ability of music and how far you can take it to affect others. A happier tune soon rises from the dark medium, enough to bring a small smile on his face while he played. Just from the music he played, it was obvious this memory displayed a hint of warmth, something that reminded him of happiness. What was it? A musician never reveals their inspiration after all. It wasn't long before he ceased playing, bringing the notes to a rhythmic stop.

"Hm. Maybe I was a tad bit rusty."

The notes that were in his magical fingers, were like fragile thread. Thread that needed to be set to become cloth, and that cloth was silk, laid out in dark waste. Yet that darkness faded and turned to light. The light that warmed her chest to the point of happy memories. Yet what were his memories? The memories that felt warm to him and the memories he put in his music. The only question left was the closing of the song, how would he end it?

Yet that didn't seem to be a problem to him, no, it was nice and slow. Ending with the soothing note which progressed itself till it faded out. Slowly opening her eyes, which she had not noticed were closed, she stared at the keys. The doll-like keys that played whenever he commanded them to. Hearing his voice after a short silence caused her to look up to look at him. Her eyes looked at his face, the expression he held, the feelings that he held inside his eyes. How did this man make such a beautiful melody and say that he, himself, was rusty?

"I beg to differ." She began, unexpectedly her voice cracking from the dryness of her throat. Her eyes slowly looked down at the bench as she continued. "Your playing wasn't rusty, it was... amazing. Each note left like strings pulling at my heart, each harmony tore a piece of my dignity, each measure nearly broke me into tears." She paused looking up at his face, trying to read his actions. "Who do you think you are?"

Who do you think you are? The question began to fester for a moment, mainly because at times Tai didn't know himself. It wasn't something that could be easily answered because he had many years ahead of him to discover what exactly made him tick. Eyes blinked before he looked towards the keys, silent as her words had actually confused him for a moment.

His playing was amazing? Well he heard the compliment so many times but not once had people described the reason behind it. This female, one that he just so happened to crash into, seemed to know what exactly to tell him just to make himself feel better. A hand was brought towards the bridge of his nose as he releases a soft chuckle.

"I'm Tai Tokinawa. "

His words had a steady flow, as if he was sure right now. Only for once he needed to show her that he had that hint of confidence that he masked only in his performances.

"I'm a college student, studying engineering when I love music. Yet I had to let it go."

He turns towards her, a gentle smile given towards the female as he sighs softly and drops his head again. Something that he truly loved had to be given away in exchange for stability, a sacrifice some people make. He was included but he was no exception to still ache and love that hobby.

"I am Tai Tokinawa and I am a fool."

His head lifted back with a laugh, finally realizing it after all those years.
