Unfortunatly, Travis hadn't planned on Takano being right there. He was leaning against his car, ready to drive his student back to that house. He'd even bought the boy a freash, hot taco before comong. He obviously saw Travis, as he waved with a smile. True that he loved the boy.. But not in a stalker way. He just wanted Travis to be safe.

Travis just acted like he didn't see his teacher and walked down the street. He knew a route that a car couldn't follow. He moved quickly and got lost in the crowd of people walking down the street.

Eventually he lost his teacher and went towards the woods and his home. Travis let out a small sigh as he stepped into the old house and closed the door behind him and locking it to make sure that Takano couldn't enter.

Takano frowned. When he saw Travis walking away, he walked back into his car and grabbed the phone. He dialed a number before taking off and driving to the place he knew Travis would go..

Later, when Travis locked the door, Takano walked from behind a wall, as he was already there. "I'm disapointed in you, Travis.." He said, making his presence known. "I simply wanted to keep you safe and well taken care of.. And you go and do this to me. I know you don't trust me.. But before I wasn't forceing you to do anything. I was being as nice as I could.. But you drove me to this.. I'm sorry Travis, but I can't allow you to live alone." As he spoke the last few words, two men that were twice Travis' size grabbed him from behind to keep him in place. There was hurt and anger in Takano's eyes.. He felt betrayed..

Travis looked at his teacher Surprise on his face before he became angry at being grabbed. "Let me go! I see I have good reason to not trust you..." He looked at his teacher clearly angry at this treatment. "I don't need anyone to take care if me!" He growled and tried to kick one of the men that held him even as he fought.

Takano looked down and turned away from Travis, trying to hide his hurt. "I'm sorry it had to come to this.. But I can't leave you alone like that.. I'd never forgive myself if something happened to you." He said sadly. The men- friends of Takano- were told not to hurt Travis in anyway, for any reason. They ignored his struggles as they pulled him ut the back door and into the back of a van that was being driven by another friend of Takano's- a woman named Kelly.
Takano went back to his own car and drove off.. Trying to stop the tears. Travis would never trust him again.. Takano only wanted the boy to be happy and safe.. But it was obvious that Travis didn't at all like him. The people who were taking his love away wern't taking him back to his house. Kelly lived out in the country. It was a very large house with many rooms.

Hours later, the woman opened the door to the back of the van. Travis had been tied up so it would be easier to get him inside. She smiled at him. "Hello, Travis.. I'm sorry we had to use bonds, but we'll take them off soon." She said sweetly as one of the other men 'helped' Travis out of the van and led him to the door. The other man opened it and they followed the woman downstairs to a room with no windows..

Travis didn't like what was happening as he was forced into a van and tied up. He knew that he couldn't escape but he didn't understand what was going to happen to him or why he was being taken.

When the van stopped he looked out the door and saw the house. Glaring at the woman before he was brought into a room that was no better then a cell. "What are you going to do with me..."

Kelly looked at Travis sadly as the men left. She undid the bindings and tossed them to a corner. "Absolutly nothing.. Takano is my cousin, I just wanted to talk to you." She sat down in one of the two chairs that were in the small room. "Now, I care about my cousin very much.. And he loves you more than you could ever imagine. But he doesn't want to hurt you." She explained. "When you left like that, he was deeply hurt.. Travis.. Takano only wants you to be safe. He doesn't want you to feel like he's trying to inprison you. So he asked me to take you in. He won't be coming around here at at. He thinks you hate him, so he wont be in your life anymore... He's moving back to Japan and giving up his job.. Because of you." She explained.

Travis moved away from her and towards the back wall. "Then why am I being held here against my will? I don't hate him either.... But... I couldn't stay with him not after what happened...." He though about what happened with his teacher and shivered. The feeling of the man's weight on top of him and the sounds that they had both made. He flushed slightly at that and looked away. "Let me out of here... I am going home."

Kelly shook her head. "Unless 'home' means somewhere that a relative- or at least someone that cares and has food and heat- will be taking care of you, then I can''t let you leave.. Not unless you want to be taken away to Children Servies- who I work for." She explaned. "Travis.. Do you realise that it is illigal for a boy your age to live alone in a condemed building? Now, if your house wasn't in shambles, you'd be alowed to live there.. So long as Children Servies cheacked on you every day. It's only saftly percations. No one's trying to kidnap you.. But if you go back to that house.. You may be. As an agent of CS, I'm notified of all threats to children in the area. And the woods your home was located in is known to be a 'hiding place' of sex offenders and a possible location of a slave market. Takano knew this. He didn't want you to be captured and sold." She explained with a dead seriousness. "Now, at this pint, you have four choices. Being at the age you are, you can have a choice. You can live with a trusted relative that CS approves of, live with my cousin and keep in touch with CS, move into an apartment- paid for by us- and allow CS to keep cheaking up on you.. Or go into foster care and possibly be taken away from this town. By law, I cannot force any of these options on you, or detain you for any length of time- unless you attempt running away. In which I can only detain you until you make a decision, and I have to give you any nessesary care. This includes mediacal, food, appropriate living conditions, and exocise." She finished telling him his legal rihts, then went back to personal things. "Travis.. I don't want to be the bad guy. I'm only here to help. I have a room you can stay in if you don't want to make a descision yet. My job is to make sure you are safe and healty.. And hopefully happy. I don't think you understand exactly how serious this situation is. You actually have the right to a lawyer at the moment. If anyone has abused you in any way, you can sue them and get legal compesation. I know you're scared.. And probably angery. But this is important. And I know I can't force anything on you.. But I do want you to talk to Takano. At least try to concine him to stay here, and tell him that you don't hate him. He loves you, but he knows he can't have you and respects that by keeping his distance. Travis.. He may attempt suicide if you don't at least call him. I hope that you do care for him a bit.. Even if just as a student. Whatever you deciede, I will be your advocate and help you to do whatever it is that you want." She finished and looked at him pledingly.

His home was not the safest place, he knew this, it was common knowledge that there were people there that did things to people his age, hell he had run into them before actually. He had to give them some of his personal belongings for them to leave him alone, that and he had said he was protected by one of the big gangs in the area, which wasnt actually true, but they didnt know that. "I know, they havent bothered me once I told them I was being protected. I do not want to live with someone I do not know, and I do not have any family left. Takano... is the only one I actually do know."

Hearing that the man might kill himself shocked Travis. How... why was he so important to the other? Wait... did she just say love? F*ck... that explained why the man was so accomodating last night.... had he been drugged so he would sleep with his teacher? He shivered at the thought before he spoke. "Fine, I will call him... what is the number?"

After he heard the phone was ringing Travis closed his eyes, "I want to speak to him alone.... please...." He waited until they were out before he started to talk. "Its me... Travis.... please..... Takano.... come get me.... I dont want to be here... I trust you even if you drugged me.... yea, I figured it out. Why didnt you just tell me...?"

Kelly nodded and took out her cell phone. She brought up Takano's number and handed Travis the phone. "Just hit talk when you're ready." She left the room and went upstairs to make some tea.

Back in his own home, Takano had a large suitcase on his bed filled mostly with clothes. He had a bottle of pills on his dresser, and held one in his hand. He shook a little as he looked at it. He stood leaned against a wall, holding himself up with one hand as he faced it. There was a glass of water beside him. He stood there for a good few minutes before he heard the phone. Finally, he picked it up and checked the number. Kelly.. He answered.

When he heard the voice he dropped the pill and looked up. He listened to every word and tears filled his eyes. For a moment he didn't answer. "I'm sorry..." His voice came out gruff, as if he hadn't spoken in a while, as if he'd been crying. "I'm so sorry Travis.. I.. Know what I did was unfair to you.. I don't know what came over me. I know you're mad, and I'm sorry. That's why I asked Kelly to take you in. She knows what she's doing, she can help you... I'm so sorry.. I.. I just wanted you to know how I felt.. And- and I was afraid you'd.. That you wouldn't.." Over the phone his breathing became heavy and his breaths became shorter. He was still crying. His shakes became worse, and he was so caught up in Travis' brutal rejection that he didn't even notice Travis asked for Takano to come.

Travis could tell the man had been crying and it hurt to know he was the reason. He listened for a moment more. "Takano.... its okay... please...I dont want anyone else's help... just....just yours.... please, I might not trust you.... but at least I know you wont hurt me... Im not mad... just confused...I dont want to talk over the phone... please come get me out of here.... they.... they tied me up earlier.... and Im in some room in the basement.... Im scared....."

Takano listened as Travis spoke. He sniffed, as his nose was running from the crying. "Kelly won't hurt you Travis. The room your in is a safe house. There should be a door to your right tht leads to a kitchen, next to that is a library with some children's toys and a TV, and then there's a room with several beds. Sometimes kids stay there when they're scare and wanting to hide from their abusive caretakers.." He explained. "But.. If you really want me to come and get you.. I will. I.. I don't want to force you to stay with me if you don't want to.. I.. I just want you to be safe." There was a shaky tone in his voice. He was still panicking a bit, but there was also a great deal of care directed at Travis. It was obvious that he really did love his student.

"Maybe she won't hurt me, but I don't like it here. I don't know her or the people that brought me to this safe house. Your the only one I know that... Cares about me and because of that your the only one I feel safe with." Sure he was concerned about being drugged earlier, but he didn't blame the man, at least not anymore.

"Where you the one writing those letters in my locker? They... Made me happy to know, to believe someone was interested in me." the teen said softly hoping that Takano would come and get him. No, he didn't love the man yet, but he could over time if he opened his hear up to the other.

Takano nodded. "Yes. I- I wrote those letters. I've... I've loved you from the start. I love you Travis!" He said, still crying. "If you're sure... I'll come get you. I only want you to be happy and safe." He said shakily.

"I'm putting the phone down now. But I'll be there in five minutes. So don't worry. I'll keep you safe, Travis. I promise I wont hurt you again." Takano set down the phone and immediately ran to the door with his keys to get in his car and go to the safe house.

As promised he was there in five minutes and walked through the door to the room Travis was in and smiled when he saw the teen. His face was red and puffy from crying, but he'd cleaned up to make it a little less obvious.
