"Kai. . .is something of an oddity with in the runners" Ego explained, the nature of her programming at the hands of Kai becoming more and more evident as she continued to speak, you would, from the way she was, expect her to be fully human and appear round a corner at any time. Truth was she was nothing but code and a golden orb. "He does not want the Government to continue the way it is, he however does not want the Runners to carry on either. He believes both to be as corrupt as each other,though of course we all know how well Delerosa would react to his one and only son's way of thinking" She finished, a short sharp nodding coming from the golden orb while many of the smaller bots shuddered inwardly and shuffled closer to their master.

Groaning softly Kai began to slowly wake, eyes fluttering open only to squeeze shut once more as his hand came up to his head. Pulling the slender digits away he peeled open one eye to look at the warm sticky liquid that now decorated it and groaned once more, this time more in annoyance than pain. "You should have said six seconds Ego" he joked, his voice gravelly and deep from his bout of unconsciousness.

Struggling up, his vision swimming, he blinked several more times before finding any kind of clarity to anything he could see. Blinking a few more times out of surprise as Sin came into view he arched an eyebrow and scratched his neck. "Why are you in my house?" he asked, having no real idea as to why anyone was here apart from him.

"Oddity," she questioned turning her eyes on the golden orb that was the essential essence of the A.I that she had seen some have; her's wasn't that level of sophisticated. But waiting for the A.I to continue, Sin got the gist of just what Kai had going on here and just where his thoughts were.

Glancing to the unconscious boy on the bed, Sin really looked at him. Sure he had good looks, but when she first met him, he seemed to laid back...just settling for residing in the shadows. Not wanting to be the nail that started to poke its head out just to be hammered back down. Sin was realizing that there was more of a purpose to that now and that wasn't really the true Kai.

"There's plenty of people out there what both sides to just turn in the towel...its tough to fight corruption without falling to that same level..." she breathed leaning back in her chair with a slight slouch. "This thing has lasted long enough...if it ended, no one would know what to do with themselves..."

Sin trailing off was picked up by Kai coming back to the world of the conscious. Sitting up more, so that both of her arms; medal and flesh, rested on either legging glad leg, she waited for him to register his surroundings. Sure as hell didn't know what he meant by his words, but Sin was sure amused by the arched brow and tone when he asked her what she was doing there.

Smirking and chuckling the pig-tailed bio mechanic took him in. "Saving your a** apparently....I got the call and I came. The others haven't even gotten here yet, you probably would have been dead."

"Call?" he repeated a tone of surprise filtering through his voice as he cast his eyes to his A.I.
"You sent out the Alpha Order didn't you Ego" he said grumpily, rubbing a flesh hand across his metal chest enjoying the feel of the smooth metal under his rough work hardened hands.

"Yes I did sir, however I bypassed your fathers system to receive such orders and sent it only to the doctors and mechanics, as soon as it was responded to I cancelled the order and shut down the beacon" the A.I answered matter of factly though some would say with a smart alec attitude.

Rolling his eyes at her response he winced slightly at the pain that shot through his head. Grumbling to himself he ran a hand through his hair and stared darkly at the blood that came away on his fingers. "Thank you Sin. . .My chest hurts less now" he said softly.

She didn't have to answer his questions, as they weren't even to her, but to his A.I. Sin however did nod along with it, though smirking at the level of attitude Ego had.

"So that's why none of the others came running..." Sin stated in a thoughtful way. "Ego you're lucky that he didn't have any medical problems that were out of my hands to handle. He could have died fyi,"

Seeing that Kai was awake now and clearly able to function proper; speaking and coherent thinking, Sin figured she could pick her things up. Leaving his bedside, the pigtailed mechanic started picking her things up; tools and supplies she had. It was Kai's thank you that drew Sin's attention, but also his comment about his chest.

Smirking she santered over and leaned over his bed a bit, clearly looking down at him before lifting her own medal hand and knocking on his medal just with a knuckle. The sound that came from it made her quiet happy. "I bet your chest feels better...you're parts were running on overdrive constantly due to lack of an upgrade and proper maintenance. You wouldn't have been in pain had you taken proper care of yourself."

Crossing her arms, Sin leaned back still standing over the close to dying Kai. "Medal is in a way just like skin...proper care and attention it'll be pretty and healthy...take poor care of it and it'll just cause problems."
