I'm Siren of Night. Feel free to call me Siren. I can be pretty silly at times, so Silly is fine too.

I am 19 years old, female and I'm born and raised (and still live) in the Netherlands.

Which makes Dutch, not English, my native tongue. Please bear with me if I make stupid mistakes. Usually only happens when I am overly tired, distracted or very much unfocused - though my written English tends to be a weird mix of British and American spelling. My language sometimes is a bit archaic as well - depends on my mood.

Speaking of mood and personality, I can at times be incredibly silly, and at other times I am grumpy and cynical. Generally I won't be -rude-, though. I am not the kind of person to use namecalling - but when I am extremely annoyed or angry, I tend to be even more direct than I normally am.

I like to read and write, as well as draw and look at nice art. I am currently preparing myself for another attempt at NaNoWriMo upcoming November. I also like to listen to music - just about all kinds of rock, metal, darkwave, dark electro and folk. Not much into hiphop, house, hardcore or R&B.

I care very little about appearance and even less about cosmetics. The last time I used make-up was when I was seven or eight and wanted to fake a bruised eye.

There are very few things that I have less interest in than fashion. I am not romantic in the least. Cute things do not make me want to cuddle them, but instead make me want to vomit most of the time. Especially when it's not so much cute as over-the-top pink and fluffy.

My least favorite color is indeed any light/bright shade of pink, quickly followed by most other pastel colors.

I do not have a religion/faith, unless you call atheism a religion.

I do not mind if others do believe in something, be that a god, a devil, a goddess, a large group of gods, a saviour yet to come, etc. so long as they stop trying to convert me to their religion when I make it clear that I am not interested.

National Novel Writing Month. (Though it's actually international XD)

Attempting to write a novel/story of at least 50000 words within a single month (November). Editing tends to come later - what comes out of NaNoWriMo is basically a rough, first draft. Happens each year. Basically, it's a self-challenge - just one you share with thousands of other people who support you.

I love drawing as well, even if drawing with a laggy mouse is... not that easy. XD (I personally think that my art is not too bad if you consider that. XD Though I'd be the first to admit that there are a lot of artists at Gaia who are much better than I am.)
