I'll be making my decision on it when I see it. It better. I repeat, it BETTER not be as bad as the 4th ed codex. If it is I might just rage quit 40K. Khorne guide their ******** hands in writing that book.

At a first glace, the 6th Ed CSM codex looks to be pretty good. Lots of access to weapons that were highly restricted before.
On the Chaos note, any thoughts on the Daemons codex?
I know I'm pretty disappointed with it. Few things actually got better and everything that used to be good got gimped pretty hard. I assumed they would have made the codex actually on par with their major contenders, the Grey Knights, but this codex will probably be railroaded by them. The drop in toughness is going to hurt. The lack of eternal warrior is going to be awful. Any grey knight unit worth it's ******** salt will obliterate these hacks. And any actual unit that can fire large volleys of fire or use a good number of blasts will obliterate the army due to it's across the board low toughness values. I think the only unit a kiting shooting army would have to fear is the Daemonettes and Blood Letters. The Daemonettes have fleet and can go flat out and when bring the Banner of Blood Blood Letters have on turn where they have a minimum assault distance of 6".
The Plague Bearers are too slow to really bother kiting and seeing as they have shrouded and got a toughness deduction, just assault them. All Tzeench daemons use magic for shooting so you can possibly deny the witch and halt it all together.
