The young trainer reached town again, making sure of it to slow his pace greatly as he practically stopped on a dime. Everyone practically eyed him, as if expecting him to speed off again at any moment. Edge only sighed in reply as went through the double doors of the Pokemon center, rushing up to the usual counter where Nurse Joy was situated.
“Welcome to the Pokemon center.” She greeted warmly with a smile. Edge nodded and returned the smile himself.
“Were they dropped off yet?” He blurted out. “Um, I mean…I was expecting three Pikachu? The move tutor said he’d drop them off back here…”
“Oh I see. Those were yours…” She said looking off in thought. “That’s quite a trio you have there. They seemed restless, so I let them be in the grounds out back.”
Edge gratefully nodded, quickly heading off for the direction that she pointed him in and exiting through the back of the pokemon center.

Nina smiled as she held out a poke`ball, "Rosalie, I'm going to let you watch the battle okay? You need some experience in battle." The poke`ball had flower petal seals just like Rosalie's poke`ball. Nina threw it in the air and emerged in a white light was a bulbasaur. "Meet Titan." The bulbasaur smiled at the gengar and Abe. "Titan has been with me since before I became a trainer., don't be surprised if he knows a thing or two."

Abe waved to Titan, and said,"Hello Titan. Nina, how about we try doing a race. First to pokecenter wins." Speed and obstacles were his best areas to work in, but when it came down to it, he was more offensive unlike most Over Road riders.

Titan yelled out in excitement as he nudged Nina along. "Okay, okay." Nina giggled, "Whenever you're ready Titan." She looked up at Abe and smiled cheerfully. It was obvious that Nina was ready and not really willing to wait as she went into start position. "Titan, start with Leaf Storm! Nina, rev it up!" Nina's ATs started to rev up her wheels. "Let's go!!!" Nina cheered as she and Titan propelled forward in a flurry of leaves.

Abe looked at Check-Mate and smiled."Well looks like she does tricks....lets try that out...." Abe revved his ATs for the longest time, then took off. He managed to catch up to Nina in a short time, Check-Mate following him too."Yo Nina, look at this...Check-Mate, use shadow ball." The gengar charged a shadow ball, then launched it past the two riders. Abe smiled and took a leap, landing one wheel on the shadow ball before taking off, literally pushing the orb back. He landed a while after, already the pokecenter was in his sight.

Nina was giggling with joy as she watched Abe execute a move similar to her own. "Nina!! Use Turn!! Titan, use Leaf Storm again!!" Titan was familiar with Nina's commands and jumped inside her hood. Glowing leaves surrounded the Trainer and the poke`mon as Nina twisted her way towards her opponent. Using her hips as the axis and the base point for for her move instead of her knee, Nina improved her maneuverability by moving the rotational axis closer to the center of gravity, thus getting below Abe. With Titan in her hood the perfect sneak attack could be made. "Titan!! Use Energy Ball!!" Titan obeyed and shot out a green ball of light while Nina revved up yet again to shoot forward to center.

"Where are-"
Edge was cut off as he entered the back area. Last thing he saw was an array off colors blasting across his vision before his vision went blurred. "What happened!? I think I just got hit by a spectrum!"
'Edge!' He heard a pokemon call out to him, easy for him to understand despite the abstract language. 'I didn't see you!'
The trainer turned his attention to the yellow blur in his vision. "Relax. It's no crime, Pikachi. Even if it was, I can truly say I didn't see nothin'. Well, especially now. Either way, good to know you mastered signal beam."
'Wait...you're blind!?'
"Blind-ed" He corrected. "You know, like how you stare at the sun for a good minute. I'll be fine...erm, later on today I guess."
'You guess?' She asked unconvinced. From his side, he heard small footsteps approaching and stop nearby.
'It's about time! Where you been?' an impatient voice asked. he turned to see nothing much different from what was in front of them. 'Uh, oh...he rubbing his eyes like crazy. Last time he was doing that was back with that whole flash incident. Is he blind again?'
"Blind-ed." He corrected.
'Right, right.' The yellow blur said with an air of smugness. 'Anyway, we've been practicing the new moves non-stop to the point they're gonna have to repave this place.'
Edge brought a palm to his face, shaking his head with a sigh. "Would I even wanna see what I'll be paying for?"
'Not really,' The third yellow blur answered. 'I mean, that only applies to him. Me and Pikachi practiced in the field, but him? Nope. His alibi is that breaking concrete would show effectiveness.'
'And it was very effective!'
"Okay, well whatever." Edge said, finally standing back up and turning to leave. "Let's get out of here."
