Ever had a bad high?

I've been smoking constantly for the past 3 years. I've had about 3 bad highs in that time.. All 3 were when I was alone and 2 were at night..
It was great every time until I started thinking about death. Which is a prime source for my anxiety and panic attacks.
The last "bad high" I had was so bad I couldn't even stand up without feeling nauseous. It felt like my head and face were sizzling. It wasn't shitty weed any of these times either, and it wasn't laced with anything.
So my question to the many stoners of Gaia, any of you ever have a bad high on weed? If so, explain it.

I've been smoking for... almost 7 years, and I've only had 3 bad highs. One, where I bought a blunt laced ith PCP... But luckily, I was the only one who didnt puke or pass out... Once was when I got high at Waywayonda in New Jersey, (where Id never been before) and got lost in the flooded trails for 5 hours, alone, and barefoot, in serious bear country, finally found my way out, and got dropped off at the park entrace from miles away by a cop. (with a bag in my pocket) And the last one, was when I was smoking around the pool and my ipod fell in lol

I guess technically I've ever had a bad high due to the weed alone... I mean, when I first started, I used to be mad paranoid, mostly just because of where I smoked. But now, I don't feel like myself without it. I smoke instead of taking countless pills for pain, manic depression, insomnia, and borderline personality disorder. As well as my eyesight. My ex WRECKED his car with me in thefront seat a few years ago... Flipped it 4 times and crashed through a fence and around a telephone pole goin 110 the lst time I saw the spedometer. Luckily, I didnt have my seat back, or theyd still be scraping pieces of me outta the pole. I just got a ******** up shoulder, a warped orbital socket, and a lovely scar on top. I have ZERO depth perception in my left eye, but I can see with more focus when Im high. Thank you, red eye. All it is, is the expansion of capillaries allowing more bloodflow to the eye. One of the MANY POSITIVE side effect of smoking :] Hope you have a good trip.

I always find that as long as I don't think about deep thoughts or depressing thoughts I'm fine... Usually that's when I'm with someone else. But when I'm alone I get extremely paranoid even when I'm in my own house. I think it'll change once I move out and dont have to be paranoid about my mom coming home in a bad mood and smashing my piece on the floor (chuckle)

I remember about a year or so a stupid friend of mine thought that it would be fun to watch that X-factor show (which I hate) while being as high as we could get. So we found some videos on YouTube and started playing them, while watching I started to get a mild Gonzo panic attack known as "The Fear", the usual increased perspiration , increased volume of my heartbeat (I could hear it very loudly, or so it seemed to me), headache, uneasiness, my throat was full of mucus I thought I was about to choke to death, which is always a bad thing to think of while high.

I somehow managed to jump from the seat and slowly typed something on the Search bar and played this. After the first few notes of this heavenly Rossini masterpiece we all started to float over a green field with mountains at the horizon while holding a sash of some sort which was being manipulated by a warm, pleasant breeze. And after that everyone thanked me and called me a genius, some hugs might have been included too.

Only had 2 bad highs. I tend to get pretty twitchy from weed and if I pay attention to it then it sometimes kills the fun, so I keep myself distracted. Once I was by myself at night after smoking more than I usually do, and I got mad twitchy, which starting annoying me, and finally making me anxious. Had to take a handful of kpins to relax myself enough to finally go to sleep to get it over with.

The other time I was smoking with a new friend I just met and his cousin in his cousin's car driving out around the city. Before that I haven't been in a car while someone was driving high. I wasn't too nervous about that though. The s**t we smoked made my heart beat really strongly, and a bit elevated. The guy turned up the music and his car is rigged with subwoofers that made the car shake even with the bass off. I don't mind loud music, but my heart started falling in sync with the beats and when songs with fast beats came on, I felt like my heart was going to explode out of my chest. Haven't smoked any that has done that to me again... thank god.

The only bad high I had one time. I got sick and literally felt my body "twisting inwards and outward via reverse" it was really trippy and the colors of everything was intense and bright I just puked afterwards. that never happens anymore though.

I have been smoking for 7-8 years maybe every week for half to all week with my mrs and yeah ive had a few bad trips. In the early days me and the mrs were high and she left the bedroom and closed the door (cant remember why now, loo most prob)
I couldnt open the door coz i thought she had been stabed and someone was waiting for me to come out to stab me. Irrational but i was terrified as i didnt wanna see her dead...

The only other time we couldnt get weed and bought some fake s**t from a hed shop, we smoked it on way home in car and it effected me badly i couldnt drive nor take my hands off the wheel or turn the car off open the window nothing it was bad s**t. the wife drove home coz i couldnt.

Only the real thing for us now from then on lol

Ya got to be careful with edibles. I've eaten a few too many a couple of times and it made me feel like s**t. Usually I pass out out pretty quickly at that point though.

Alot of these post just sound like panic attacks. That and fake weed overdoses.

I had a bad high maybe like 5 months ago, it's our first time to use a bong. since we live in the Philippines where the system is ******** up. Bongs are hella expensive here. we smoked maybe 4 bowls of weed. otw to our university, I felt nauseous and my eyes were really really red. lmao. We ended up going to a bar instead. xd xd xd
