Kanon walked throughout the streets silently, holding a metallic music box to her chest as if it were her last tie to the world, smiling down at it. It was a beautiful music box, that had played beautiful music for ages. Whenever an antique shop got a new music box, the owner of the shop would stop her and ask her if she wanted it if she was caught roaming around town. She had been wanting one just like the one she held. She couldn't wait to turn the key when she got home so she can hear it.

Ryan appeared out of the shadows clutching his bleeding arm a few seconds later dogs that seemed to be made out of shadows appeared from the same place he did. he spun around pulling out a knife and threw it killing one. the other one jumped on top of him and tried to bite him. he struggled against the dogs weight.

Kanon eyes widened upon seeing the strange man and gasped in fear when the shadow dogs jumped upon him. Furrowing her eyebrows and gathering some courage, she threw the music box, hitting the dog.

The dog looked at the girl snarling, giving Ryan just the chance he needed. he snapped the dog's neck. he gave one glance at the girl before he passed out.

Kanon gasped again and slowly stepped towards the man, hunkering down beside him and picking her music box back up.
"...S...Sir? Are you... alright?" She gently pat his shoulder, her eyes growing wide. "Oh my! I hope he's not dead!" She thought and shook him. "Please wake up!"

Ryan breathed slowly still unconscious his arm bleeding still.

Her lower lip quivered but she furrowed her eyebrows.
"Should I leave him here...?..... No, Kanon. That'd be bad." She sighed and stood up, pulling him up to his feet by wrapping an arm around his torso and propping his arm up around the back of her neck. She grunted and staggered a bit.
"So... Heavy!" She squeaked, her lavender hair flowing over her wide amethyst eyes.
She was pretty light weight and short for her age and wasn't used to carrying people.

Ryan woke up slowly. At first he didn't realize he was being carried, but when he did he broke away and stumbled to a building and sat down painfully. "who...... who are you?"

When he broke away, the force caused her to fall backwards with a startled squeal, landing flat on her back, the music box flung and now at the man's feet. She whimpered and sat up slowly, cupping her face in embarrassment.
"I'm sorry if I scared you sir! It's just that you passed out after getting attacked by dogs!" She scooted away from the man, staring at him in fear from in between her fingers.

Ryan lifted himself slowly, picking up the music box. he walked over and gave her the music box.

She whimpered and shakily reached out one hand to grab the music box hesitantly, pulling it close to her chest like a child would a toy.
"Th...Thank you... sir..." She spoke quietly without looking up at him.

" No. Don't thank me. I did nothing." he turned and started limping away

Before he can walk away, she grabbed the back of his shirt.
"Wait!" She spoke desperately and once she realized she did, she blushed and loosened her grip. "...I... can help you with your injuries if you'd like."

"you can if you want it doesn't matter they will be back." he said talking about the dogs something bigger
