This is a map of the known world (whats left of the coast of california and such).

The Mega-Cities are the last remaining relics from the Old World, surviving through the tecnologies that were designed to keep them safe from the dangers of radiation and the outside world. In these cities, the people are fed, clothed, and ruled by a socialist-type government. Each MC exists seperate from the others, although aliances have formed between them. You can find more on this in the Cities of the New World thread.

The Highways are now little more more than tracks or rumble. They are, however, still the easiest way to navigate the wastelands, however not always the safest. Bandets and scavengers roam these paths, stealing from anyone weaker then they are.

The waterways are now death traps of radiation. Drinking from them can be deadly, and they eat through crafts made of wood. Some still travel them in metal ships, but Pirates have mostly taken them over.

The Garess Alliance
- Julis: Julis is the first Mega-City that was constructed. It is smaller, and at this time has lost its former glory. Its crumbling walls and collapsed sewers have forced it to open up to the outside, making it the only Mega-City with open gates. Despite its poor condition, it has one of the strongest armies of all the MCs, for it has incorporated some of the Wasters into it.

-Tella: The only MC who will trade with Julis (the others see them as barbarians and savages) and depends on them for military protection, as Julis relies on them resources. They try to stay at peace with everyone, but they tend to get sucked into Julis' fights.

-Talador: The second MC to go off the radar. Used to be the primary producer of food for the Garess Aliance, but now the Alliance has to rely on trade from other MCs to survive.

The Costune
-Delogath: The only remaining MC in the Costune, it has little in ways of allies. Being mostly self efficient, however, it can survive on its own. It is, however, seeking allies, for it, like Julis, is at war with Parce.

-Eludan: The first MC to go off the radar, leaving Delogath ally-less. Comunication was lost roughly seven months ago.

The Palacians
-Quess: The largest producer of manufactured goods of all of the other MCs, it is one of the most valuable assets the Palacians have. With a socialistic government, most of their military is spent protecting their own borders. Keeping strangers out… and their own people in…

-Nellundo: The farthest MC to the mainland, Nellundo constantly has to deal with stragglers from the large wasted plains and the occasional attack from unknown sources. It is so busy keeping people out, its own city has fallen from its former glory, and now most of its buildings have been cleared and replaced by farms.

-Gogesta: The latest city to fall silent, merely weeks ago. It was the face of the Palacians, as Quess and Nellundo were usually busy with their own problems. This loss has made the two MCs have some what of a falling out.

Independent
-Parce: The largest MC, it's people seem to crave war. Currently, they are at war with both the Garess and The Costune. It is entirely self-sustaining, and has a socialist government, yet its inhabitants don't seem to mind.
